The mountain bike tour to Mt. Monte Tremalzo is an absolute classic bike tour at Lake Garda. Long uphill parts, flowing downhill parts and again and again amazing views over Lake Garda.
Here we want to present to mountain bikers an alternative tour to Mt. Monte Tremalzo. The tour is called “New Tremalzo”.

The 50 km long tour begins in Riva del Garda. From there first of all you have to bike to Pregasina (on the old Ponale-road) to Malga Palaer and to Rocchetta Pass (path 422) and from there to Guil Pass. Arrived there you go on to Bocca Fortini, to Nota Pass and finally to Tremalzo Pass and the panoramic Refuge Garda. There you can take a break from the demanding uphill part.
After the break go on to Malga Ciapa and on path 222 to Malga di Fobia and to Bocca Fobia, the highest point of the tour.
On path 222 you come also back to Riva di Garda cycling through Valley Prà delle Noci, through Valley San Michele and to the Tremosine and Limone. Take the ferry there to get back to Riva del Garda.

All in all you manage a difference in altitude of 2200 m. The tour is valued as difficult.
