We only stayed for a weekend; we wish we could have stayed longer because we loved the location, clean rooms, food, and staff.
The sauna and Turkish bath are free. The hotel will provide slippers, a bathrobe, and a towel for the pools in your room.
THE ONLY MINUS I COULD FIND: the lack of a permanent person at the indoor pools to supervise the situation. We found it quite noisy, with children screaming, playing with balls, and diving. All of this shouldn't happen in a wellness relaxation area. (As for the outdoor pools, I have no idea if there is a lifeguard, as they were obviously closed during our stay in November.)
Overall, thanks to all the services and amenities, I would definitely return, perhaps even earlier so I can enjoy the outdoor pools as well.

Fantastic, clean hotel with very friendly staff in all departments! Great atmosphere, excellent food, and top-notch activities for young people (billiards, table tennis, etc.). The owner is very dedicated (seemingly around all day). We had a wonderful family vacation, and the weather was perfect too!

Truly beautiful hotel! The well-kept rooms, full of flowers, and the welcoming atmosphere. The spa and heated pool are stunning, perfect for relaxing. Dinner was truly excellent, as was breakfast—rich and high-quality. All the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, were extremely kind and always available. The room was also very nice, with a balcony and a splendid view. Highly recommended!

A four-star restaurant that's very close to five. The owner, Mr. Tonelli, is always there and makes sure everything runs smoothly. I've been coming here for several years now and I think I'll be coming back for a long time. From the first time I've been there, I've felt right at home. The food is delicious and the cleanliness is top-notch. I go there many weekends and recommend it to everyone, regardless of the time of year. It's always busy, so book well in advance.

We had a wonderful week at the Hotel Savoy Palace. The hotel is very centrally located. It has its own underground parking for cars, scooters, and bicycles. We had a junior suite with a huge terrace, and the room was clean and comfortably furnished. A slightly larger refrigerator would have been great.
The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good and plentiful. Our son (8) always got something, even when there was only a selection for dinner. Buffet in the morning, à la carte in the evening. You could choose from several dishes. Table service was available. The indoor and outdoor pools were perfect for the whole family. The outdoor pool was heated, so we could still swim outside in mid-October. There was a wide selection of recreational activities for the kids in the basement (billiards, table tennis, foosball, kids' club, etc.).
We definitely recommend it!

A huge salad buffet was an absolute plus.
Happy hour every day and live music in the evenings.
The underground parking garage could be better lit; the rear section is very dim.
Compliments to the service staff; they were all very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel with all the amenities it offers included. Friendly and welcoming staff, from the front desk to the waiters and housekeeping staff. The room was very clean and tidy, the food was standard and a generous buffet, the heated pools with hydromassage (we swam in the outdoor one on a miserable day with rain and temperatures of 16C), and a large games room. All in all, everything was great, and we'll definitely return.

We stayed at this hotel from August 27th to September 1st on a half-board basis.
The breakfast was generous (sweet, savory, and fruit) with both local and international products. Dinner was also excellent, both for the quality of the food and the variety of choices.
The spacious bathroom and spotlessly clean room; we stayed on the 5th floor, which was cleaned by Patrizia. She was always courteous, helpful, and attentive!
The relaxation area inside the hotel, with its heated pool (water at a more than pleasant temperature, even for someone like me who is sensitive to the cold), sauna, and Turkish bath, is a great place to unwind after a day spent exploring the lake and mountains!
Our children (ages 9 and 14) also loved the play area with pool tables, ping pong, and table football (there are also games for younger children).
The quality/price ratio is excellent.

Overall, a lovely hotel with excellent and plentiful food. Dinner is highly recommended; there's a very good selection and it tastes fantastic. The rooms are sufficiently large and clean, the bathroom is top-notch, but the mattress on the bed is unfortunately completely worn out. The heated outdoor pool is lovely, but the umbrellas and loungers are quite outdated. The drink prices are reasonable for Lake Garda. However, the evening entertainment is absolutely terrible; out of seven days, there was the same solo entertainer six days a week (a very nice guy, but a lot of recorded music and more suited to the over-60 crowd). As a "highlight," guests were allowed to sit in the hotel manager's Ferrari one evening and take photos (...without further comment...). Distances: to the lake about 5 minutes, shopping center: 8 minutes, town center: 20 minutes. Overall, you can't go wrong with this hotel; there are certainly worse and better ones.

What a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location!
It's quietly situated just outside Riva del Garda, overlooking the mountains, yet within walking distance of Lake Garda (less than a 5-minute walk), and the lively town center is 1.2 km away. There are also many restaurants near the hotel.
Breakfast is superb, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated—nothing outdated.
And what I absolutely love is the pool, with plenty of space to relax on the sunbeds with parasols. You walk to the bar to order a drink, they scan your room card, and that's it! It's a perfect system. So, highly recommended, especially because Riva del Garda has a beautiful town center.

The rooms and the entire hotel were spotlessly clean.
The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, offering a wide selection of fresh and appetizing dishes.

The hotel's location makes it easy to reach Lake Garda, restaurants, and shops on foot.

Great hotel, quiet location, yet just a few minutes' walk from town and the lake.
We were absolutely thrilled with the daily 4-course menu, and at breakfast there was a wide selection and everything was beautifully presented.
The staff was very friendly (especially Mr. Donato :-)).
The hotel owner is also very personable; we loved that Mr. Tonelli always personally chatted with the guests.
Great importance was also placed on cleanliness.
Everything was top-notch for us.

Simply top-notch every time. This was our third visit, and we're thrilled each time. The indoor and outdoor pools are fantastic and leave nothing to be desired. Highly recommended, especially for those on a gluten-free diet. Almost all dishes can be made gluten-free, and we've never had any issues with cross-contamination. What a beautiful hotel! Very spacious, excellently equipped, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The rooms are truly fantastic: large, comfortable beds, plenty of space, and a very generous bathroom.
One thing struck me, though... there's no ice cream to be found. An ice cream on the terrace or at the bar wouldn't be amiss in such a classy setting. Especially on hot days, a refreshing sundae would be a real bonus.
Perhaps an idea for next year: bring on that Savoy sundae!

My family and I went on vacation, and I have to say we had a great time.
On the first day, we checked into our room. There was a problem, and they immediately changed it. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The food was excellent, with a wide selection. My wife and I stayed at the Savoy Palace for six nights in April 2025 as part of a tour group and booked half-board. To put it simply, it was a fantastic stay. Breakfast is a buffet and more than ample. Omelettes and various egg dishes are freshly prepared upon request. For the three-course dinner, we chose from three or four options each morning, depending on the course. We also found the dinner to be very tasty and plentiful. Regarding the service, it seemed that some of the younger staff members weren't fully trained yet. However, this was more than acceptable, as we encountered only very friendly service staff in all areas. Communication was possible in German, and English was no problem at all. Our room, as others have already mentioned, was relatively noisy. What was truly bothersome was the cooling compressor of the (new?) minibar, which couldn't be switched off, even at night. In our opinion, management should consider replacing it. The evening entertainment, which began discreetly during dinner and continued in the bar, was of a high standard. Prices in the bar are reasonable. The hotel has a welcoming and very well-maintained feel. We had no complaints about the relatively central location. Even as solo travelers, we would definitely book the Savoy Palace Hotel again.

I spent 4 days here.
Overall rating: excellent.
Good location, a 5-minute walk from the lake, a 20-minute walk from the center of Riva, and a 30-minute walk from Torbole (both pleasant lakeside walking trails).
Very friendly and smiling staff, both at reception (from the phone call when booking, then at checkout, and even at checkout) and in the dining room.
Rooms were a decent size, with a nice bathroom equipped with various complimentary toiletries, including a pool towel and a bathrobe for the spa. Nice little balcony with a partial lake view, from which you could enjoy the piano bar music in the evening (they played every evening in the hotel garden).
Indoor pool with warm water for the coldest days, large outdoor pool, also heated, with hydromassage areas.
All areas were always clean and fragrant.
Being half-board, we also took advantage of the restaurant:
Very generous breakfast; But here are perhaps my only two criticisms: in a 4-star hotel, I expected to find drinks made with a coffee machine and not from self-service machines (I love cappuccino, and the machine one, while not bad, isn't even close to the one at the bar), and I would also have appreciated information on the contents of pastries and donuts (cream, chocolate, jam?!). But I repeat, the selection was wide (hot, cold, sweet, and savory) and good.
At dinner, the selection was generous, with meat, fish, and vegetables. I was a little worried after reading that the portions weren't generous, but I disagree: as a big eater, I always left the table feeling very full. And if anyone is worried about not eating enough, there was always a rich buffet of vegetables and other items, ranging from rice salad, meatballs, couscous, Russian salad, etc.)

It has a balcony and the view was lovely.
The breakfast was okay, like any breakfast buffet in Europe, so for us Muslims, the options were limited.
The woman who made the eggs at the buffet was Moroccan, very kind and cheerful, may God bless her ️. It's located about a half-hour walk from the center, but personally, the atmosphere was lovely, so we walked without noticing the time passing. The lake is just across the street, about five minutes away.

I just returned from 3 days at this hotel. My experience was beyond positive. The dinner service was top-notch. My partner and I were truly impressed; the buffet was truly rich and varied. In the morning, we had a sheet of paper on the breakfast table where we could write down what we wanted for dinner, with 4 options for each dish. I can say I had a perfect dinner; beautifully served and presented dishes, and a slew of waiters serving all the hotel guests. The breakfast was truly complete and varied. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded from a standard room to a junior suite. There's a covered parking lot where you can park your car, and a lockable room for your bikes—this is also a great convenience for cyclists like us. I must say we used the spa a couple of evenings; after a day on the bike, spending half an hour relaxing in the whirlpool/sauna/Turkish bath is definitely worth it. It's been years since we've dined at a hotel, and I have to say it made a difference compared to other years when we'd come and had to think about where to eat.
The service was truly beyond positive. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived with six motorcycles for one night and occupied three rooms. While there was no covered parking, the motorcycles could be parked safely. The rooms are a bit small for motorcyclists, but offer sufficient space. The balcony was very helpful for airing out our motorcycle gear. Breakfast was perfect and left nothing to be desired. We would gladly return.

We stayed with our children for 5 days. The rooms were clean, and the reception was extremely helpful.
The city center is about a 30-minute walk away.
Breakfast was great - dinner, unfortunately, not so much.
All the bus travelers seem to be getting preferential treatment; the restaurant opens at 7 p.m., so if you're not at the front door by 6:50 p.m., you'll hardly get anything from the appetizer buffet. The waiter assigned to us didn't seem to be in the mood to serve us either; at times, my children had to wait 20 minutes before we could order drinks. We had to keep chasing the man for a second round of drinks.
The cleanliness of the rooms is particularly noteworthy.
Due to the dinner issue and the considerable surcharge for half board, I won't be visiting this hotel again.
Perhaps it really should be open only for bus tourists.

Rooms:
- The air conditioning couldn't be regulated,
- The temperature was around 24.5 degrees Celsius and it was getting hotter and hotter, far too hot for sleeping,
- On the day of arrival, there was no hot water for showering by 10 p.m.,
- The shower head was broken,
- There was neither liquid nor bar soap (only upon request),
- There were five of us, and each of the provided bathrobes (which, by the way, have seen their best) was at least three sizes too small for me.
Wellness/Fitness Area
- It was hot throughout the entire area (I don't know exactly how hot, there was no thermometer, but it felt and I estimate it to be somewhere between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius),
- The water temperature in the pool was far too hot (I would have preferred the water temperature of the outdoor pool),
- For those who still felt like exercising in these temperatures, there were only a multifunctional machine, two treadmills, and two bicycles available.
Service in the Restaurant
- Half-board does not include drinks included, not even a bottle of water (I know drinks aren't usually included with half board, but we're used to it now).
- In my opinion, the hotel has a rather more upscale approach, which is reflected, for example, in the drink prices, which are significantly higher than in Germany (7.50 for an Augustiner beer).
- If you choose to serve guests instead of a buffet, you have to be able to serve them!
- On our arrival day, as well as on another day, we had to wait about an hour for our second course and even for the first course (these waiting times are unacceptable, especially in the case of a pre-order).
- At breakfast and dinner, the tables were cleared very hesitantly, sometimes only after being asked.
- There were staff who were constantly rotating and others who wandered around aimlessly.
- Overall, I was not satisfied with the service, given the hotel's upscale approach.

A wonderful family experience! We had a wonderful time with our 12 and 16-year-old children. The staff was attentive to every detail, the breakfast buffet was wonderful, and the indoor and outdoor pools were both heated. The sauna and Turkish bath were delightful. On Easter Sunday, they even left chocolate eggs at our table! A small gesture that makes a difference! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thanks to Mr. Tonelli, the hotel owner, who was truly kind. He offered us a complimentary bottle of Garda extra virgin olive oil upon our departure. Thank you!

Beautiful and well-kept hotel, helpful staff. The dining area could be better organized. The room was clean and spacious, although some details could be improved. Nice location, a bit out of the way. Covered parking,
sometimes difficult to maneuver if full with a medium-large car. The indoor pool area was very nice, although some details could also be improved. Overall, excellent, recommended, we will gladly return.

The Savoy is in a great location. Not on the main road, but a bit off the beaten track. 10 minutes to the promenade.
The service is simply superb, and the chef, Mr. Tonelli, is excellent. Very dedicated and always welcoming. He personally attends to our needs and lends a hand. He even saw us off personally. The rooms were very clean and individually furnished. The food was absolutely delicious.
We would come back anytime. It was a fantastic time.

We had a wonderful 10 days with our wheelchair-bound daughter. We stayed in a room with a terrace. There are no fully accessible rooms, but we managed just fine. The service was attentive and helpful. There's a large outdoor pool area, a lawn for sunbathing, sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels at no extra charge. The place was lively with children. The only downside was that some guests reserved sun loungers with towels early in the morning and didn't return for hours. The pool bar has reasonable prices. This is not meant as an invitation to the hotel owner!
Breakfast and dinner were really good, with a wide selection. Despite the large number of guests, it generally ran surprisingly smoothly.
There was nice entertainment in the evenings (live music), and it wasn't too loud.
In the basement, there were various games and activities, such as table tennis and billiards. There was also a playroom for toddlers. The location is close to the lake. The old town is a 15-minute walk away (bus and hotel shuttle available).
All in all, a highly recommended holiday.

We booked it at Booking, and it was onlƴ around 175€. Very fast Wi-Fi, free parking, near to lake, restaurant and bar with lots of drinks, and much more (very good candies on reception). Breakfast was delicious. I recommend visiting!

We stayed there with a tour group. The hotel is in a fantastic location, about 5 minutes from the lake and 10 minutes from the town. The rooms are very well-equipped, with fresh towels and linens provided daily. A sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, bathrobes, slippers, and towels are also provided for the spa area. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious, with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes – something for everyone. We would gladly return.

We had a wonderful 5-bed room for us and our children. The rooms and the house are very clean and tastefully decorated. There was something for everyone at breakfast! Fresh and lovingly prepared. I stayed at this excellent hotel with a tour/group.
The hotel is in a very good location, just a few meters from Lake Garda and the pedestrian zone. It can be reached on foot in a short time. Bus stops are also nearby.
The breakfast and dinner are plentiful and very tasty. The selection is extensive. The waiters are very attentive, friendly, and quickly fulfill requests, as is the case with all the staff.
The rooms are very clean, and the beds are freshly made every day. New towels are also provided daily. The hotel offers a lot for young and old. There is a swimming pool, a wellness area with a sauna, a fitness room, and a children's playground, as well as a bar with a wide selection.
The staff are all friendly and helpful with any requests. What stands out in particular is the manager, who also helps out in the restaurant and enjoys chatting with guests.
With this review, I would like to thank the entire hotel team for the wonderful stay.

Stayed here during our trip to Lake Garda. Modern hotel with great pool and spa facilities. Worth a visit if you are considering holidaying in that region of Italy. Don't forget to take plugs to convert to your electrical equipment and I'm glad I took my own hairdryer as I didn't spot one in the room. Bathroom was great with double sink and huge walk in shower. Food was reasonable with several choices at breakfast and dinner.

We highly recommend this hotel.
The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and, for the price, equipped with large balconies and sun loungers.
The gardens, including the pool, garden restaurant, and bar, are lovingly landscaped with plants and lush flowerbeds.
The owner, Mr. Tonelli, is always present at the hotel and always strives to make guests' vacations as pleasant as possible.
The staff and restaurant service are also very friendly and prompt.
The excellent cuisine, with its plentiful and beautifully prepared dinners, deserves special praise. The breakfast buffet is a true delight every morning.
Our small dog was also welcomed without any problems.
We would definitely be happy to come back.

We stayed at this hotel the first week of September. Overall, a good experience, but personally, one I wouldn't repeat.
Let's start with the positives.
The breakfast and dinner were truly remarkable. Excellent food and excellent service. The waiters and staff were always very helpful and kind, even accommodating requests outside of the menu. The buffet was varied, extensive, and of excellent quality. Definitely a 5-star service. Although charging almost €5 (€4.50 to be precise) for a 0.75-cl bottle of water, considering drinks are not included, seems a bit excessive.
The kids' club also offers good entertainment for the little ones. Our daughter had fun with the entertainers and the games in the dedicated room. The two young women who entertain the younger guests were really good.
Now for the negatives. The rooms were really dated and poorly maintained, with old furnishings and definitely not suitable for a 4-star hotel (perhaps a guesthouse). In our room, there was an electrical box behind the entrance with exposed wires (very unsightly and not very safe). The ventilation grill had a rusty corner with peeling plaster, and in the mornings we often found water on the floor (let me start by saying we never turned on the air conditioning during our stay). In the bathroom, the small toilet didn't flush, and the door frame on the shower side was moldy and leaking.
The only positive thing about the room was the bed. It was truly comfortable and cozy.
Finally, after asking the night before and the same morning if we were cleared on our bill (we had already paid for the stay days before and paid for extras day by day), we were confirmed that we had no other outstanding bills. After a 6-hour drive, we arrived home and received an email asking for €25 for an unpaid tourist tax that had not been charged for all the previous days. Considering we left almost €3,000 at the hotel for five days (four adults and one child), they could have avoided asking for the €25, making a good impression given their mistake. Of course, I made sure to make the transfer on the first available working day.
Considering we've stayed in Trentino several times, always in 4-star hotels, we now have a good basis for evaluating our stay. And although Riva del Garda is a beautiful location with plenty of entertainment and things to do, I personally don't know if I'd return to this hotel.

A good tourist hotel supported by excellent staff who were always polite, friendly and helpful. Although the building is somewhat older it is well maintained and better constructed than many "modern" hotels. The restaurant food was good and not too "internationalized" with many more local dishes present on the menu. The outside pool is screened by shrubs and has a small outside bar selling both drinks and light lunches. Even in mid-September it was still quite warm in the water. If you like hot Thai food and loud discos this is not for you. If you want to chill or do any kind of sailing, bike riding or walking this is a good place to start.

A hotel that comes highly recommended without hesitation. You truly feel like royalty as a guest. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms are very clean, but unfortunately a bit noisy, and the minibar refrigerator is loud, but you quickly get used to it. The outdoor area is pretty and well-maintained, a true oasis for relaxing by the pool. The breakfast and dinner buffets are plentiful and offer so many different options that choosing isn't easy. The hotel was vintage shabby chic and a little dated, but otherwise perfectly charming and clean. The room was basic but nice and the view from the balcony was unreal! Really beautiful view at sunrise. The breakfast was memorable and very good - definitely ask the chef for a fresh omelette which was the best I've ever eaten. Location wise it's a little removed from the main town of Riva, but really easy to get to - just a quick bus or 20 min walk.
The hospitality at the hotel was exceedingly good. Every person we interacted with was lovely.
I enjoyed my stay. Would return.

It was actually the loveliest lady who was the egg chef on duty those days. We're keen cooks and her cooking was so good! (17th and 18th March 2024).

The hotel is located just 200 meters from Lake Garda and only a 15-20 minute walk from Riva's town center. It is very professionally managed. The owner is regularly on-site and provides active support when needed. The guest is always the focus here, something that unfortunately seems to be increasingly lost these days.
We stayed in a family room. A beautiful, functional room with a spacious, lovely terrace complete with loungers! The bathroom was also modernly furnished with a large shower and bidet. A rare combination.
The cleaning service was truly excellent! Cleanliness is a top priority here. The cleaning staff were always friendly and accommodating. A big compliment to the team and their management!
The reception is also always helpful. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

My only recommendation is not to book a lake view room because it's far away and there are other hotels up ahead, so you'd only see it in the distance, and the expense isn't worth it! This hotel has definitely seen better days. Unfortunately, there were several issues during my stay – e.g. multiple broken lamps in the room and a malfunctioning toilet flush. It’s clear the hotel could benefit from a renovation.
On the positive side, the location is great – close to the lake and within walking distance of several good restaurants. The free parking is a plus, and there are some leisure activities available, though many of these are showing significant wear as well. The bar area, while functional, could benefit from a bit more attention to detail in its design.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but it’s in need of some updates.

We drove more than 1400 km, carrying with us only the bikes of our kids. At the reception we were told the bikes they provide are only for a limited time of 3 hours, although we went there for biking. When we told them those rules were not on their site, they told us they could not put all the rules on the side because the info would be too much. Which was a bit of a strange answer, as there is no limited space for content on any website. If you want to bike, you better take your own because the hotel provides bikes only for local shopping, apparently. We started our holiday with a bitter taste.

A wonderful hotel, a real surprise. The kindness of the entire staff and the obsessive attention to guests make this hotel a shining example of how a hotel should be; here, I would define the art of hospitality. The discreet and attentive presence of the hotel owner, Mr. Giampietro, is unparalleled; he seems to know every guest, whether a regular or a first-timer! The restaurant management by the manager, Mr. Davide, and his team of attentive and attentive waiters are impeccable. The courtesy of our waitress, Mrs. Larissa, will be a lasting memory, although unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to say hello. Cleaning and amenities such as the pool, indoor pool, games room, sauna, and gym are all included in the price, providing added value that will encourage you to return to visit the upper Lake Garda.

A pleasant surprise.
I stayed 4 days with my family.
The kids had a great time.
The room was very clean and modern.
The modern bathroom was very large, comfortable, and very clean.
The breakfast and dinner were truly excellent.
Breakfast offered everything from sweet to savory.
Dinner was buffet-style and à la carte, with options for all tastes.
There was an area with 2 ping pong tables and 3 billiards tables.
There's also a kids' club.
Located about a 10-minute walk from the center of Riva del Garda and a stone's throw from the lake.
It was definitely a wonderful experience.
Will I return? Definitely!

We were there from July 21st to July 31st. We arrived from Bonn on our motorcycles!
A man greeted us warmly and arranged for us to park in the appropriate parking space!
What we didn't know at the time was that it was Giampiedro Tonelli himself!
The welcome was warm, and you can tell everywhere that it's family-run!
Everyone works with their heart and soul!
We really enjoyed it!
The hotel offers live music every evening, and the Happy Hour cocktails from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. were fantastic!

The staff is very friendly, the hotel's location is great; you can reach the lake in just a few minutes, and the city center is about a 20-minute walk away. The breakfast selection and quality are excellent, and the hotel parking is also free
The downside is the open-plan bathroom; the shower and sink are practically in the living area, only the toilet is separate (this information should be mentioned on the website). Housekeeping only comes to make the beds and take out the trash, and the floor hasn't been cleaned for days, just like the balcony...this is unfortunately quite inconvenient. The rooms are also incredibly noisy, so you can hear what the guests next door say. The beds are unfortunately quite uncomfortable; you can feel the springs...

Good hotel! Good breakfast. A good coffee for breakfast is a must in Italy, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case (a very old vending machine). The fire alarm went off three times in a row in the hotel, and the staff didn't inform anyone and were just running around looking stressed.

A well-maintained hotel with a varied and high-quality breakfast. The dinner menu offers a wide variety of dishes, both à la carte and a generous buffet.
The room I was assigned was very nice, well-maintained, and clean.

The hotel is beautiful, beautiful, very complete. The staff work with one heart, they are loving and helpful. I stayed at the hotel for five nights with a wonderful and varied breakfast. The facility in general is suitable for children and families. The service is fast and excellent. There is good air conditioning in the rooms. The location of the hotel is beautiful and close to everything. Parking options are available. They gave me a beautiful gift, which was a nice gesture from them while I was leaving. My experience with this hotel was beautiful. I will repeat it and will rely on it, God willing.

This is not a four star hotel. It is a nice hotel with an indoor and an outdoor pool, staff is friendly and lots of options at breakfast but I wouldn’t pay more than 150 euros per night for this hotel. Rooms are dated and small. With so many options in Riva, I won’t be coming back here.

We stayed at the hotel in June, a few days ago. Very pleasant atmosphere, quality hotel with amazing service staff. The food was good and varied. The location of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are a bit small but it was enough for us, mainly since we were traveling most of the days. 2 pools in the hotel (outdoor and indoor) which was an advantage because on one of the days it rained we swam in the pool inside the hotel. The staff is friendly. The room furnishings are okay, with the essentials provided. Unfortunately, there's no large mirror, so if you're not tall, you'll see yourself down to your belly button. It's a real shame not being able to check your outfit in the mirror.
Unfortunately, breakfast isn't enjoyable due to the crowds and the stress caused by the numerous senior citizens. We also don't understand why you can't choose your own seat in the breakfast room, even though there are plenty of unoccupied tables. You're assigned a table with incorrect name tags (?). Why? You'd like to decide for yourself whether you want to sit more secluded in the daylight or near the buffet. Seating assignments with incorrect name tags aren't exactly exquisite, especially since the staff only pay attention to the senior citizens when clearing the tables and changing cutlery. We had to get our own cutlery and napkins. Our table wasn't cleared. The service in the breakfast room is outdated and doesn't reflect the value for money, especially when all guests, regardless of age, pay the same or the same price and can expect good service. The breakfast is okay, with the essentials provided, but it's not that different from the breakfast offerings at 3-star hotels in Germany. The personal hotel experience here is okay, but unfortunately far from outstanding.

Man fühlt sich willkommen. Umfangreiches frisches Frühstücksbüffet. Dinner im Restaurant ist ausgesprochen gut zubereitet mi kaltem Büffet und Dreigänge-Menü. Highly recommended! We stayed there for four nights with our young daughter. The service was top-notch. We were even able to change rooms because the family room (on the first floor) was a bit too dark for us. We were promptly shown a triple room on the fifth floor and preferred it. There was no extra charge for the room. The service was really great and friendly. The mini club and the pool tables under the lobby are also highly recommended; they're perfect for kids to burn off some energy before or after dinner. The service during meals was really excellent, with lots of friendly and helpful staff. The heated pool in the basement was perfectly adequate and perfect for a quick dip. The hotel is family-run, and you can tell; the manager is there regularly and greets guests personally. Lots of coach tourists come and go. There's an underground car park for cars!

The rooms are a bit dated, and the hotel is generally more popular with tourists. The hallways smelled stale, and the bathrooms smelled bad. The shower was poorly maintained. Excellent amenities, such as towels, toilet paper, and shampoo.
There's a small indoor pool that fills up easily, and an outdoor pool. They provide a bathrobe and slippers in the room.
Very convenient, spacious underground parking!
Personally, when I'm in Riva del Garda, I'll try another hotel. I had a good experience, but it didn't convince me.

Positive:
+ Excellent service. The staff goes out of their way to listen to guests' wishes.
+ Delicious breakfast, with a wide selection of cheeses, charcuterie, and fried bacon. Only the coffee is a bit lacking because it comes from vending machines. But we also have to be realistic: with a hotel this large, it's difficult to serve everyone individually with real Italian coffee.
+ Large indoor play area for our son, which was always open. He loved it!
+ Heated indoor and outdoor pool, even at the end of September!
+ Ample and free parking, both outside the hotel and in the garage. We were even allowed to use the garage for free because there was plenty of space. That's also very thoughtful of the hotel.
+ Daily wine deals are offered with dinner. For €3.50 a glass, you can get really good, high-quality wine that way.
+ Beautiful, modern rooms. The shower is very small, but I often see this in Italian hotels, so perhaps this is typical for Italy.
+ The hotel is well-located, just outside the center of Riva del Garda, but a two-minute walk takes you to a lovely Lake Garda beach. From there, you can follow the beautiful promenade and reach the center in 10 minutes.
+ A beautifully heated wellness area where you can relax.
+ Several pool tables, which you can play for free (even in most 5-star hotels, you have to pay extra for that). There's also badminton and a foosball table.
+ A cozy bar, reminiscent of an Irish pub, well, a little bit.
+ Very good cocktails, with plenty of booze and certainly not bland. The rum glasses were always well-filled.
A few minor drawbacks:
- It's just a shame about the coffee... I think Italian coffee is the best in the world.
- The dinner was okay, but I sometimes missed a bit of refinement, like with the polenta, for example. On the other hand, a hotel of this size simply has to function as a mass catering facility.
- During dinner, unless you arrive just in time, it's very difficult to get hold of someone to ask for a second drink. At the pool bar, too, the waiter preferred flirting with the barmaid to serving the guests. When we went to the bar to order, he reacted somewhat irritatedly and said he would come... well, it wasn't our fault that his attention was elsewhere...
- The fixed-table system is a bit odd, but thanks to the excellent service, we were given a different table the next day.
- Unfortunately, there's no children's menu. As a result, our two-year-old son always had to eat a large meal, so there was some waste...
- The evening buffet didn't list any allergens.
- The heavily perfumed shower gel was a slight irritation.
- Even on the coldest and maximum ventilation setting, the air conditioning couldn't cool the room at night. It wasn't even that warm outside, I'd estimate it to be around 23 degrees Celsius. The minibar is positioned in such a way that you can't cool your own bottles of water... clever, but a shame for us. The cooling system makes a lot of noise at night.

I spent a wonderful holiday in Trentino Alto Adige, organized by La vacanza italiana. It was a four-day intense tour with our wonderful guide Bianca, who made our stay so enjoyable. We stayed in Riva del Garda at the Savoy, a 4-star hotel. A magnificent property with an on-site spa, where we were welcomed and pampered throughout. If you're looking for a vacation in Riva del Garda on Lake Garda and don't place a great deal of emphasis on luxury, you can check in here with peace of mind. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small, and with two people it gets quite cramped, but otherwise it's quite okay. It's a bit out of the center, but quiet. It has an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a very small fitness and wellness area. The food is perfectly fine. The only downside is that the rooms are very noisy.

The location is relatively quiet because it's set back from the main road, and finding a parking space is not only no problem at all, but guaranteed. Since the hotel is so close to the beach (a 5-minute walk) and from there you can also take a wonderful stroll along the beautiful waterfront promenade all the way to the old town (about 20-25 minutes), you can also leave the car behind. Various boats depart from there to the various towns on the lake, so we didn't need a car here either and didn't have to stress about sitting in traffic or looking for a parking space. This fact alone contributed greatly to our relaxation!
About the hotel: There were a few problems in the first room (the air conditioning didn't work), but we were able to move to another room without any problems, and everything was perfect! The reception staff were also very accommodating and friendly, as well as very humorous. The service staff is the same: absolute 4-star standard – trained hotel professionals, extremely friendly and accommodating, with a superb service orientation. You also had the feeling that it wasn't a fake friendliness, but that hospitality is simply in their blood. So, to all the staff: Thank you for the wonderful time with you, your excellent service, and please keep it up!!
The food was simply amazing! I was a bit hesitant about the "a la carte" menu at first, as my family is often picky about food, but even my family was thrilled. There were plenty of great dishes to choose from (also beautifully decorated), and even if our 16-year-old daughter didn't find anything one day, there was still the huge buffet with salads, breads, antipasti, fruit, cheese, etc., so it wasn't a problem at all. Our daughter said the food was "amazing," which was the highest praise from her (since she's usually so picky). So, dear kitchen team, here too, I can only say, please, please keep up the good work! You're amazing!
The prices for the drinks were all really reasonable and absolutely fine. Whether it's wine or a cocktail, or even just a Coke, water, or other soft drinks.
The outdoor areas are very well-maintained, with plenty of space in the pool, whirlpool, and plenty of loungers. There's even a very small playground at the rear of the outdoor area. It's also a great hotel for families. There are two pool tables in the basement and a ping-pong table (free of charge), and these were very popular.
The wellness area is newer and also quite large. The fitness area, while not huge, is perfectly adequate for working off some of the good food (a treadmill, two bikes, and a multi-function weight-training machine). There's also a small sauna. In a nutshell: everything is there, as described on the hotel website.
In the evenings, there were always great live bands on the terrace and very often a piano player at dinner.
The hotel owner, Mr. Tonelli, really has his hotel under control and isn't above anything. He also directs cars to the parking spaces and always approaches new guests, welcoming them and chatting with them. You often run into him here and there in the hotel, checking that everything is in order and taking care of everything. I come from the luxury hotel industry myself and can say with certainty that this isn't the case everywhere (star ratings or not). We spent a wonderful week at the Savoy Palace from August 26th to September 2nd in a room with a lake view. The room was clean and had a balcony. For us, the perfect holiday destination! We've stayed there twice now and will definitely book the Savoy again next year. The hotel grounds are very well maintained, the rooms are nicely furnished and very clean.
The hotel staff is always friendly and strives to fulfill all wishes. The manager is also very friendly and always there for his guests.
The breakfast buffet is very extensive and leaves nothing to be desired.
In the evening, an excellent 4-course menu is served alongside a very varied and delicious appetizer buffet.
We love this hotel and would definitely come back!

Compared to the city, the hotel, like most, is a bit far from the center. The food is really good. They have plenty of parking. There's plenty for children of all ages, both inside and out. The pool is a bit small. The lake nearby has all kinds of facilities and you can use it free of charge.

The hotel is spacious, large, bright, and pleasant.
Positives:
First and foremost, the hotel staff is respectful, distinguished, and professional, always smiling and welcoming morning and evening.
The reception was good, quick, and easy. The restaurant manager greets you in the morning, welcomes you, and directs you to a table. The restaurant's cooks and cleaning staff are excellent Arabs who welcome you, come to your table to serve you, and ask if you need anything. For me, breakfast wasn't anything special, except the croissants were delicious and fluffy; the rest of the food didn't suit me.
The room is spacious, air-conditioned, and has a balcony with a view.
There's no kettle or complimentary toiletries.
There are two swimming pools, one in the basement and the other outdoors, which is crowded. Parking is available in the basement and in the courtyard. There's a musical performance in the hotel courtyard at night, which is nice if you sit outside or on the balcony.
It's located about 1.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) from the city center on foot, but there are shops and restaurants nearby.
The hotel is old and needs some work. Regarding the renovation, especially the rooms:
There are no flaws, the lime is good and excellent.
And I would like to thank again the outstanding staff, especially the Tunisian, the Arab cook who makes eggs and crepes, and the Algerian who cleans the table.

We had a wonderful few days in Riva del Garda. The staff is extremely friendly and makes every effort to ensure guests feel comfortable. The atmosphere in the hotel is generally very pleasant, and it is well-equipped. Everything you need is just a few steps away (restaurants, ice cream parlors, supermarkets, bike rentals, etc.). The Wi-Fi in the hotel could be improved, as it often drops out and there are problems streaming. The bus stops are a few minutes' walk away and offer reliable connections. With the Garda Guest Card, you can use them for free. I highly recommend the hotel and its location!

The hotel is generally okay, but I think the prices are too high. For the same price, we've stayed in better 4-star hotels.
The staff is really nice and friendly.
The grounds themselves are very well maintained, although they are a bit dated.
The outdoor pool area is a good size, and the indoor pool is a good alternative in bad weather.
There's a separate indoor room for children with toys and a ball pit, etc. It's nice for kids, but the toys could use some updating or maintenance.
There's also a children's play area behind the pool, but it's just a fenced-off section with faded plastic buildings that look rather neglected. When we were there, the lawn had apparently been recently renovated and was flooded in many places. A sandbox would have been nice.
Breakfast is great, with a wide selection.
Dinner is excellent and varied.
We had a Classic room. The furnishings were a bit dated and it was slightly musty, but clean.
There was plenty of parking available.
The hotel's location is good, a 5-minute walk to Lake Garda. The old town is about 20 minutes away.

This hotel is highly recommended. The numerous flowers, roses, and the garden with its entire outdoor area are very beautiful and well-maintained. The owner seeks out contact with guests and personally lends a hand. The staff is friendly and competent in all areas. The service in the restaurant is very commendable. The waiters are very friendly and eager to accommodate all guests' needs. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of everything your heart desires. The fresh crepes were delicious. The four-course dinner menu was of very high quality and varied, even for vegetarians, and simply delicious. There were Italian dishes to choose from every evening, and the cannelloni were delicious. Special praise goes to the desserts, which were all delicious.
The cleanliness and the mattresses in the room are very good.
It was a lovely and relaxing stay at the hotel. The location is close to the lake and the town center. Bicycles can be borrowed free of charge from the hotel, and cycling along the beautiful lake promenade was truly worthwhile.
I have one more suggestion: fresh towels were provided every day. For environmental reasons, they could only replace those left on the floor by guests.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days at the end of April. It's a bit older, but the rooms, balcony, and beds were very good and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although many tour buses arrive, we were always quickly shown to a table for breakfast. This might be different during the holidays; I imagine it gets very busy. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection. Lake Garda is just a few meters away. Importantly for us, dogs are welcome. The indoor pool is quite nice, but not for those who prefer warm showers (the pool was still closed). Parking is available free of charge in the underground garage.

First off: we were here with a bus company. And it's true, the hotel accommodates many bus tour guests. So it was quite crowded at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is extensive and offers something for everyone: cold cuts, cheese, rolls, baguettes, fruit, muesli, jams, egg dishes... Drinks are self-service. Suggestion: don't offer so many pre-packaged items (jam, butter, honey), it creates so much waste. Latte macchiato tastes better from glasses, and one bread knife isn't enough for so many guests; it would be better to pre-cut slices or offer several options for slicing bread. The hotel isn't the newest; our room was okay, the bathroom a bit worn. You can hear the toilets flushing in the neighboring rooms, but otherwise, the hotel is in a quiet location, with occasional traffic noise at night. The grounds are well-maintained, the pool was clean, though some of the loungers were a bit worn. There's a small indoor pool, a small sauna, and fitness equipment in the basement. Lake Garda is about a 5-7 minute walk away, and you're surrounded by a mountain panorama. Mr. Tonelli is frequently seen in the hotel and enjoys greeting all guests. Dinner is a four-course meal. It begins with a self-service buffet: antipasti, salad, bread, fruit, sometimes fish or ham – a very wide selection. This is followed by an appetizer, main course, and dessert, which you select in advance at breakfast, usually with three different options. These are served by the staff, as are the drinks. Charging to the room key works perfectly. The appetizers were consistently good (often pasta or soup), the main courses somewhat bland and small, and the side dishes were mostly roasted potatoes or potato slices – little variety. There's room for improvement there. The desserts were all very well done. The service staff was friendly, sometimes even funny, but occasionally stressed, as they had to serve a large number of guests at once. The entire hotel is very warm. Especially in the bar, it sometimes felt like a sauna, with all the windows closed. Various musicians provide music. Not everyone plays an instrument or sings themselves! There's a lot of playback, showmanship, and technical equipment. We still had fun dancing and drinking cocktails. In the basement, there are pool tables, table tennis, and a foosball table. That was really nice, and it was pleasantly cool down there. The pool cues need some repair, though; the rubber coating has completely worn off. I used the toilets in the basement once and unfortunately found them very dirty. They should be checked more often. We also rented bicycles. They're single-speed bikes, and not all of them are in the best condition. It took a while before we found bikes that were rideable. The bike path along the Sarca River towards Arco, Dro, and so on, returning via Torbole, is lovely. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Riva del Garda and felt very comfortable.

Starting out, I would ideally give the Hotel Savoy Palace 3.5 stars out of five but have rounded up to a four. I stayed for a week with my family during early September and, generally speaking, had a very pleasant time. We paid for a room with a ‘view of the lake’ so I have included a picture of the view available from our balcony…
First of all, everyone who works at the hotel is extremely polite and always keen to help in any way that they can. They definitely helped to make the stay feel that little bit more special. 5 stars to them.
As many have mentioned before, the owner does like to get hands-on and meet with his customers - which some people don’t like - but I found him to be harmless. He does command an aura of almost celebrity status and to be fair does have an entire evening dedicated to showcasing his Ferrari F430… why not I guess? What I would recommend he addresses is his proclivity to indulge in speeches over the PA system during dinner, though.
The pool area was clean and the pool itself is particularly enjoyable. Some of the loungers and parasols are a little aged and difficult to manoeuvre and this really was the theme of the hotel from the rooms to the bars and the restaurant. I would say that it is definitely suited to an older demographic and being 30-something years old, I definitely was one of the youngest people staying. An update to some of the more dated decor would have brought the clock forward several decades.
The food was very much hit and miss with some offerings being delightful, whilst others left me feeling disappointed and on occasion quite frankly bewildered. On the evenings where we didn’t really fancy anything that was on offer we would head out to the old town for something a bit more appetising. On the other hand it must be said that the availability and quality of drinks was excellent.
I did enjoy my stay but would opt to book at another hotel should I be visiting the area again as the Hotel Savoy Palace just wasn’t tailored to my demographic, but that isn’t necessarily the fault of the hotel itself. If an identical musical set performed each night by a man pretending to play the keyboard is your thing then I’m sure you’ll feel right at home amongst the elder generation who dance the night away in ballroom fashion but for me, I will give it a miss.
My main reason for knocking off a star, though, was the infuriating experience with trying to get milk and/or coffee to appear in our room. I asked at reception to please have some but it was never followed up on. I resorted to smuggling UHT milk back from the breakfast but felt this probably shouldn’t have been necessary.

Hotel with many services available and very friendly staff. The cuisine is very good, the outdoor swimming pool with heated water is fantastic, not easy to find in other 4 star hotels. Then if a bad weather day happens, there is an indoor swimming pool which is always heated and a games room with billiards, ping pong and table football to spend a nice evening.

A very nice hotel with a heated outdoor pool.
The staff are consistently extremely friendly and accommodating. Even the owner, Mr. Tonelli, frequently mingles with the guests and chats with everyone.
The hotel is set back from the main road, yet only a short walk from Lake Garda.
The breakfast buffet is very extensive and varied.
A four-course menu is served every evening.
In the morning, you receive the menu from which you choose what you would like for dinner. You select from three different dishes for the three-course meal. The first course is a salad buffet.
Child-friendly meals are offered. Even if the portions seem small at first, you will definitely be satisfied, and the food is delicious.

Very nice, large shower, private bathroom, makeup mirror.
High-quality beds and mattresses ensure a very restful sleep and a good night's sleep.
Outstanding service from the entire staff, from the reception to the waiters and waitresses to the room staff.
Last but not least, Mr. Tonelli's constant presence for all requests deserves special mention.
The breakfast buffet is enormous and of a high quality that is hard to beat. It is constantly refilled. The attentiveness of the waitresses and waiters, as well as Mr. Tonelli himself, ensures this.
Since only bed and breakfast was booked, this can only be rated.
There is a variety of entertainment in the evenings.
Table tennis tables, a fitness room, pool tables, foosball, and a very nice, well-maintained indoor pool are located in the basement.
Water aerobics and yoga were also offered.
Unfortunately, the parking situation is tight. However, Mr. Tonelli personally takes care of parking until late at night. Therefore, no deductions!!!
I am sure Mr. Tonelli will find a satisfactory solution for the future.
I have never had any reason to complain!!!
This was my 8th time there and I will definitely be back.

We were there for the third time. Overall, things have gone downhill. Everything is the same as it was 10 years ago. Nothing has been updated. The food is good, but if you stay for two weeks, you might eat the same thing twice. Very good for families with children (club, etc.), unless you don't want the kids eating fries every day. Kudos to the cleaning ladies; the room was always top-notch. In the restaurant, you can see that the guests have changed. Unfortunately, we had to eat dinner in shorts, not to say swimming trunks. The hotel should require more appropriate attire here. The service was very attentive, though. The location is still great.

Giving 5* for the overall impression. The room is rather small for a 4-member-family but the terrace is surprisingly spacious. Moreover, there are some minor imperfections in the bathroom that could be repaired or renovated. Anyway, services and staff are perfect as well as the served food. The ideal vacation dedicated to relaxation, good food, and breathtaking views! We found it all at the Savoy!!! The hotel is ideally located 200 meters from the Riva lakefront; excellent cuisine with a wide selection of menus, including 5 starters, 5 main courses, and 5 desserts, as well as a vegetable and side dish buffet for all tastes and nationalities! The rooms and facilities are impeccably clean, with linens changed daily. The large garden features a panoramic pool with a whirlpool area suitable for adults and children. The garden area offers excellent bar/restaurant service for a snack or a tasty lunch overlooking the pool.
We are regular guests for a getaway or a weekend, but this time we chose the Savoy for our summer vacation!!!

We were looking for a hotel that would pamper us, take away all our worries, and entertain our two girls under 4.
The Savoy Hotel perfectly met our expectations; we lacked nothing, even on the one day it rained. The girls had a blast in the pool and in the games room. The room was adequate for our needs, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was perfect for outings.
A very positive note was the friendliness of the staff, from the reception to the housekeeping staff, to the waiters and bartenders, who were truly excellent.

We've been staying there for many years. The rooms are large and very bright. There's a rain shower and the bathroom is correspondingly large. The breakfast is always very plentiful, and there's always a constant flow of food. The dinner is delicious, with a menu offering a variety of dishes. The staff are all very accommodating and friendly, speak very good German, and have been working there for a long time. The hotel's location is ideal if you want a mix of relaxation and adventure. The hotel is on a quiet street, so you hardly hear any traffic, and you can park directly in the hotel's own parking lot. The water is a 3-minute walk away, and you can hike up Monte Brione right next to the hotel. We definitely recommend the Hotel Savoy Palace.

I stayed for two nights in a Deluxe Pool View room in November. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was also spacious, with a 2-meter shower. A welcome bottle of Prosecco was included in the room, which was very welcome. The service was good, and the food was good but not excellent. The cleanliness was good. The bathroom amenities were limited to just a bottle of liquid soap and shampoo, which was not enough for a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options. There was a kettle in the room with a wide selection of teas. Free underground parking was available. There are billiards and a ping pong table. The indoor pool, however, is quite dated. Despite the large size of the hotel, the presence of the owner, Tonelli, was appreciated, as he greeted us with great warmth and kindness.

Very nice complex, the pool is well-maintained, and there were always plenty of loungers available throughout the day. Good service, fast and friendly staff. No hidden costs, underground parking, parking, pool towels, and even rental bikes are all included in the price.
Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy, so you can constantly hear the passing traffic in the hallway as well as the evening entertainment at the hotel and neighboring hotels.

The hotel had very friendly service at reception. Helpful information was always available whenever we had a question. On the day of our arrival, we arrived very early and were still served a wonderful breakfast. Thank you so much for that. Dinner was generally very good, with a few minor exceptions. The afternoon coffee and cake were always delicious – simple, homemade, and very tasty. The pool was a dream for the children, as the water didn't get too cold even after four hours in. The service staff was very friendly. If you value room size, you should definitely book a Deluxe room. The owner is always present and very attentive to his guests. We will gladly recommend this hotel.

Super accommodating, delicious breakfast, everything was very good... but, but that's the case with almost all hotels. Unfortunately, single travelers are often treated less respectfully than two-person travelers or a family. You notice this when you check into a room in a family-run tourist hotel; it's clean, etc. Everything's fine, but old and not renovated like other (double) rooms. Still, you pay a lot of money. Even for dinner, you're assigned a table that, to put it bluntly, is right next to the storage room. I can only advise any single traveler to book an adults-only hotel if you're not noise-tolerant. And, dear smokers, please don't smoke under the balconies. I'm an ex-smoker and can smell the smoke from 100 meters against the wind, and it all goes right into the room. Thank you.

We were actually just looking for a hotel in a great location and came across this one. The food, especially considering the prices, was a pleasant surprise. Full board is definitely worth it. The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom has a classic, timeless style, but it doesn't look dated at all. The staff is very friendly and attentive – even the hotel manager often makes his rounds to check on things. There's plenty of parking, including an underground garage, which is always in high demand. The grounds are very well-maintained. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel for spending some lovely days at Lake Garda.

My partner and I stayed at the Savoy Palace for nine days... the welcome from the reception and all the staff was exceptional, the rooms always super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor pool, equipped with a whirlpool and heated water and surrounded by the greenery of the garden, was truly beautiful, as was the indoor pool.
The cuisine was a pleasant discovery, with dishes always varied and never repetitive, both for lunch and dinner. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and above all, the quality of the ingredients.
The dining room service was excellent. Thanks to the Maître d', always present and attentive to ensuring that everything was fine and to the guests' satisfaction, and to the waiters (Rocco, Francesco, Michele, and all the dining room staff) who were professional, friendly, and always ready to accommodate any request.
We felt pampered and at home.
An added bonus was the presence of Mr. Tonelli, the hotel's owner, who demonstrated how much passion he puts into his work and how important his guests are.

We've been coming to Riva del Garda for a few years now, and it's a surefire way to enjoy the area. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the center of Riva, and it's wonderful to walk along the lakeside promenade (alternatively, there are bikes available at the hotel). Every time I come, I find the same attention to cleanliness, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The restaurant service is excellent, and I commend all the staff, who are always available to accommodate any requests outside of the menu. On the lower ground floor, there's a billiards, foosball, and ping pong table, keeping the kids happy. For after-dinner entertainment, there's a spacious indoor/outdoor bar with live music. There's an indoor pool and small gym available upon reservation, and a large heated outdoor pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas. It's truly difficult to find any flaws, but I haven't found any so far. Kudos to Mr. Tonelli for his professionalism and expertise in managing this wonderful hotel.

So, I'm a 10-year-old girl and I was only there for 3 days. I didn't give it 5 stars because they don't have bikes for children and that's not fair. Then the food is good but there are special dishes (you can ask for children's menus). The rooms are beautiful and tidy. There are 2 pools (heated), one outside and one inside. In the room they give you a bathrobe and slippers. The bed is huge. I recommend it.

Great, very nice hotel. It was possible to have a separate dining area for the entire tour group. The room was very clean and the furnishings were functional, with excellent mattresses that invite a restful sleep. The service is outstanding, and every request is fulfilled. The hotel guide came to the table every evening and asked about our satisfaction. A minus point was given for a glass that still had lipstick from the previous user on it and a fork that still had food residue on it – absolutely disgusting, this needs to be checked more often. Am pinie beach. Tolle wiese mit viel schattenplätze für Familien sehr gut.
Wir wurden in ein Familien Zimmer untergebracht sehr geräumig ist aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber sauber, das war uns wichtiger. Hätten einen tollen Ausblick zum Pool.
Frühstück war super, immer alles da was das Herz begehrt.
Abendessen könnte man von drei verschiedenen Vor-Haupt-und Nachspeise auswählen. Wir fanden es immer sehr lecker. Ein großes Salatbuffet Stand auch zur Verfügung mit tollen Leckereien.
Fahrräder könnte man für drei Stunden kostenlos ausleihen, fand ich super, könnte man bisschen die Gegend erkunden. Zu Fuss ins Zentrum Riva ist ganz toll am See zu laufen.

The excellent food at this hotel is absolutely worth mentioning; it was delicious every day. We really had nothing to complain about. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, everything was very clean, and everyone complied with the mask requirement.
The hotel provided bicycles that you could borrow free of charge, but you had to return to the hotel after three hours to ask if another guest was waiting for a bike. If not, you could ride for another three hours, and so on.
From the hotel, you could be at the lake in five minutes and at a large shopping center in five to ten minutes, so you had everything you needed close by.
We really liked that there was live music every evening, and you could dance to the music. They even accepted music requests.
It was a wonderful vacation, and I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay so much last July..that we returned the following month..
in August for another family trip!! The location is excellent..just a few streets over and you will find various restaurants..shops and gorgeous La Garda️️Then Old Town is only about a 20 min walk...and its such a lovely place to visit!! But our hotel was phenomenal..from the pools to our very clean rooms to the amazing food..And of course the staff..very kind..always so helpful..just an outstanding group of people..!! We cannot until our next visit

I was there in 2018 and will definitely return to the same place in 2020. I can only agree; I too felt very comfortable and was pampered, which I really enjoyed. The manager and his staff went out of their way to ensure our well-being. I was there with Gimmler Reisen and will definitely be back in 2020.

It deserves its four stars, starting with the very friendly staff, the clean rooms, and the generous breakfast. A small drawback is the restaurant's tiny portions; it's best to bring some biscuits in case you get hungry early.

Super friendly staff and a cool boss! We come to the Savoy almost every year and I always enjoy it! Especially the buffet and the large family rooms with the "terrace." It's also just a short walk to the lake. The hotel has a great pool and offers lots of leisure activities. Compared to other hotels, the value for money is excellent!

The food, especially the breakfast buffet, is very varied. Afternoon tea or coffee and cake is also plentiful, and the evening menu selection is also good. However, the room furniture, including the balcony table and chairs, are generally showing their age. Despite this, the hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly.

The welcome was efficient, the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was good and varied. However, the overall experience was rather chaotic, the indoor pool undersized for the number of guests, and the overall feel decidedly "resort in August." This is a shame, because this certainly isn't the fault of the management, which actually tries to pamper its guests in every way; I think the presence of several busloads of day trippers inevitably leads to this effect.

My better half and I stayed at this hotel for the first time with Marx Reisen. We were absolutely thrilled. A very well-run hotel. The staff, from receptionists to waiters and housekeepers, were incredibly friendly. The food was excellent, varied, with a wide selection and wonderfully prepared. The facilities were also very good. This hotel complex is highly recommended, especially because it's located in beautiful Riva del Garda.

Super war die Lage und vor allem auch das Essen welches typisch italienisch war! Dank all inklusive haben die Kinder auch immer genug gehabt von dem was sie mochten! Wir hatten so gut wie keine Zusatzkosten für Essen und das kommt selten vor! Nachdem das Hotel direkt am Monte Brione liegt sind wir sportlich auch alle auf unsere Kosten gekommen! Außerdem liegt das Hotel so praktisch dass man gleich überall ist! Das Hotel an sich ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön! Herr Tonelli als Gastgeber allgegenwärtig und sehr bemüht! Also wir waren super zufrieden!!!

Wir wurden zum Geburtstag unseres Sohnes mit einer Geburtstorte und Prosseco überrascht! Sehr freundliche Kellner ob im Restaurant oder Poolbar die Poolanlage ist auch schön angelegt reicht völlig aus zum entspannen und planschen mit den Kids.
