I stayed at the hotel for four days.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They treated everyone with great sophistication.
The hotel's view is legendary, the best possible view in all of Riva, and its location is excellent.
The rooms are very spacious, meaning they can comfortably accommodate four people.
The only downside is that the sound insulation is a little basic.

This is a decent hotel. Its advantage is its location on a mountainside, providing visitors with decent views of the lake and its surroundings. It's also close to town. The rooms are nice, spacious, modestly furnished, and well-equipped. I suspect the hotel meets all the requirements for a three-star rating. The building is showing its age. We were here just after the season, and it was a bit cooler and rainy, so we didn't use the outdoor pool, but you should know it's there. Other than that, there are no amenities. In fact, I don't even know if the hotel currently has a dining room, restaurant, or even a bar. It can be considered a base, which, in addition to us, the many cyclists who live there did.

Everything seems fine... but I have two issues.
1. The cleanliness of the stairwells.
2. The elevator only works until 7 PM, which is a disgrace. I had a room on the 4th floor. After days of walking, I always arrived after 7 PM. I no longer felt like climbing stairs...

The place is situated on a hillside with one of the most beautiful views of Garda and the mountains. I'll return just for that view. The rooms are quite simply furnished, but have basic amenities.
Pros: the view, the view again, cleanliness, friendly service.
Cons: the kitchen lacks glasses, tumblers, maybe a toaster, and the mattresses on the bed are not very comfortable. An automatic dishwasher would also be useful.
Despite a few inconveniences, I will definitely return to this place, because when walking around Riva, it seems to have the most attractive location: not in the center, but right next to the marina, which is a short walk away, and then to many restaurants and the city center.

Very nice owners and friendly staff! The reception is truly super-friendly! The view of Riva is breathtaking. The room is clean and tidy. The furnishings are modern. The bathroom is very elegant and appears to be very new. The kitchenette has everything you need. The four of us had a room on the second floor with a large terrace. There is more than enough parking. Free Wi-Fi and a smart TV are available in the room. We will definitely be back!

My family and I spent a wonderful vacation at a hotel perched on a hill above Lake Riva del Garda. We are very happy with the accommodation and the stay! Super friendly staff and very helpful with questions. Fantastic view of Riva del Garda and Lake Garda. The only downside is that the stove was not that strong, so we couldn't cook proper food as we wanted, including being unable to fry meat. It took forever to boil water so the only thing we ate was to cook pasta of different kinds with meat bought from the supermarket. Highly recommend the accommodation to others!!

The bathrooms are clean and new, and I think they've renovated all the rooms. It's close to the center, but getting out of the hotel is a bit difficult if you have children; you'll need a car. There's a swimming pool.

The room was clean, spacious, and the view from the large windows and balcony was impressive - the perfect place for morning coffee. A big plus was that I could safely store my bike. We had an excellent time at Residence Marina. It is located on a mountain (Monte Brione) and the view is magnificent! The apartment was spotless and well equipped. The shower room is particularly great. The apartments have large balconies with table and four chairs. It was lovely having breakfast with the view every day! Kitchen is simple but sufficient. There was no toaster in the room but we were given a toastie maker which was great! There is a lovely garden at the property with a very nice swimming pool. Kids swam once even if it was still too cold. The closest supermarket is COOP, about 15 min walk. It has absolutely everything you need, lots of great quality fresh food. We also loved L’Ora, a lovely restaurant just on the bottom of Monte Brione.
Check-in and check-out experience was flawless. Definitely highly recommend this property!

My review of the Residence Marina in Riva del Garda:
We had a wonderful stay at the Residence Marina! The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view from our apartment – simply gorgeous. The rooms are modern and offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking is also plentiful, which isn't a given in this region. The friendly and helpful staff deserves special mention, making our stay even more pleasant. The large elevator and the well-functioning Wi-Fi were also plus points.
One minor criticism would be the kitchen equipment – unfortunately, there was very little cutlery and dishes available. It would have been nice if more could be provided. A toaster would be a good improvement. We also found the checkout at 9:30 a.m. a bit early, as it got quite hectic packing everything in time.
Overall, however, we had a very nice time and would definitely recommend the Residence Marina!

A very, very, very beautiful place. Its location is fantastic, a little far from the center, but it offers a beautiful view of the city. It's an 8-minute drive and a 20-minute walk from the center. I really liked it.
The only downside was the very poor air conditioning. The resort is located on a mountain, and the road to it isn't too difficult.

The house with holiday apartments is located near the harbor, further up the mountain. The view of Riva and Lake Garda is fantastic.
There's a large parking lot and a pool with a beautiful garden surrounding it.

Stunning views from cozy balconies. The rooms are very simple, but clean and comfortable. Besides, when you're on vacation here, you'd rather be on the balcony or out and about than sitting in your room :)
The pool is great, and the bike storage room with accessories is perfect for bikers. There's also an elevator if your luggage is too heavy.

We spent a great week here! This residence is amazing for holidays at the Garda lake.
The view is just breathtaking! So great to have breakfast/dinner at the balcony! Also perfect for morning yoga with a view!
Also there is a nice swimming pool with sunbeds, area for children and barbecue. In case you don't want to go down to the beach. Otherwise, it takes just 15-20 min to reach the area with beaches and restaurants. Yes, the residence is at the hill and you will need to use stairs or the normal road to go to the downtown but if this wouldn't be the case, you will not get such a great view!
P.S. There are some negative reviews saying that the place is old, durty, without towels etc. We were a bit scary because of them but fortunately they are not true. Please keep in mind that this is not a luxury hotel, but an appartement with your own kitchen and bathroom. You will need to keep your place in order and take care of rubbish (as you do at home), if you know this in advance there will be no problems with expectations. There are towels and everything you need for kitchen (even individual kit to wash the dishes!)

We had a corner room on the 3rd floor with two rooms and two balconies. The view was fantastic, from Riva all the way up towards Tenno on one side to Lake Garda on the other. It was fantastic day and night.
A very nice, spacious living room with an integrated kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave, and two hotplates). All the necessary pots, pans, and cutlery were provided. Everything was clean.
Bathroom with shower, toilet, and bidet.
Wi-Fi in the house is very uneven and is turned off overnight.

Very friendly staff, the pool is fantastic – situated in a beautiful green setting with a view of Lake Garda. The apartment (on the top floor) is quite spacious, with a small balcony – perfect for drying swimsuits and towels. There's ample free parking. The kitchenette isn't great, so don't expect to cook meals regularly (the fridge is small for six people and there are only two burners on the stove), but it's fine for breakfast. The location is great, with a beautiful view – the property is at the very top, so you have to allow a good few minutes to descend to the lake and another few minutes to climb up. Overall, I recommend it :)

The location is fantastic and especially suitable for families and athletes. It's situated on a hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the city's tourist crowds.
The view over Riva and Lake Garda is breathtaking, both during the homemade breakfast and at dinner. A lockable bicycle storage room is included.
The room furnishings were okay, though some were quite outdated. The bathroom was fine, with a small shower, but no mold, no dirt, and no broken appliances. The kitchen was also adequate. More than sufficient for a young couple. Otherwise, the room was very basic and just about acceptable for the price.
The service at reception is always friendly. They try to communicate with a little German, English, and a couple of snippets of Italian, but then again, it is Italy ;-) They are always solution-oriented and friendly. Room cleaning, towels, and extra toilet paper are only provided upon request and for an additional charge, which is completely unacceptable at this price! You can find nicer hotels in Riva Centro with better service and breakfast for a bit less money. This is a major drawback. This is a holiday home complex, not a hotel!
It's a popular destination for families, so there are children at the pool. If you're not comfortable with children splashing around, you should look for a quieter time or book a different hotel. The complex and parking area are spacious and very well-maintained, beautifully landscaped with cypress trees, palm trees, and lush greenery.
All in all, it's not a must-visit, but if you're looking for a quiet place and can find a good price, it's a great place to stay and escape the hustle and bustle of the old town.

Weekend at Residence Marina.
Very large and well-equipped rooms, and the terrace with a table is truly beautiful. Having dinner or lunch on the terrace with a view of the mountains and the lake is a sight to behold! The pool, accessible only to guests of the residence, is also very nice.
Great feedback also goes to the reception staff, who were able to chat with us and give us some tips on nearby places. Highly recommended!

The pool is big with nice greens around it. However the noise from other rooms is a problem, you can hear pretty much everything. Clean rooms fitted with air-conditioning, unfortunately just one safe in one room, but comfortable beds and amazing view over Riva del Garda from the rooftop. It has a great pool area and a big garden with barbecue. Parking lot with locked gate after 11pm. Friendly stuff speaks german and englisch as well

I thought it was good for the price. Went in April when the weather was perfect. Great views. It's on the top of a hill so it's a bit of a hike unless you bring a car. There's free parking right at the bottom of the hill. Bring your own towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. There's a playground by the pool. You can get a high chair and a baby tub. Has a kitchenette with pots and pans, dishes, coffee machine, microwave, stove top and a fridge. Great place to bring kids.

Accommodation on a nice hill. Enough parking space. Negative: the stove does not work, it took 45 minutes to cook spaghetti. We had to replace the fan. Scratched pans, few cooking equipment, no soap or towels. The front garden is not maintained. A big plus is the beautiful pool, a big minus is the mosquitoes by the pool.

...simple amenities but a very nice location, somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle.
Small, overgrown pool nestled between palm trees, cypresses, and olive trees...very good value for money.

Nice apartment. The two-room version is spacious enough for two people to stay for an extended period. Beautiful view that you can't get enough of. One drawback is that it's incredibly noisy. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
