A very nice little hotel with an outdoor pool and a small indoor pool. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff. Perfect base for excursions, quietly located just a few meters from the lake.

We had room number 113, and it was very small and cramped.
The beds were very good, however.
The balcony is also very small, and it gets very hot there in the afternoon because there's no sun protection.
The breakfast was also very good and plentiful.
The underground parking garage is a bit narrow for larger vehicles, and the exit is very steep, which could be difficult for lowered vehicles with spoilers.
The reception only spoke Italian and English.
If you look around the hotel a little more closely, you'll see that there's a backlog of repairs! In the bathroom, for example, the mirror shelf was missing! The indoor pool is closed during the summer months, and the outdoor pool was very cold in September. We had a Pomeranian with us, and we declared him as small, but the gentleman at the reception said he was rather medium-sized. The reception wasn't particularly friendly either. (The staff are probably happy that the season is almost over.)

A lovely little hotel located right on the water. We had a fantastic view of the lake. The rooms were equipped with everything you could need and were cleaned every day. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was more than adequate and left nothing to be desired. There's an underground garage and a small parking lot right in front of the hotel. We felt very comfortable here and would happily return.

We stopped off in Brenzone sul Garda for the weekend because we're going to Vada by the sea on Monday.
The service was excellent and incredibly friendly.
The rooms are simply furnished, nothing special, but perfectly adequate.
Breakfast had a wide selection.
If we ever go to Lake Garda again, we'll definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Villa Isabella for a week as a family and were absolutely thrilled! The hotel grounds, including the pool and breakfast area, as well as our room, were very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly, and there's a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere.
Furthermore, the hotel boasts a fantastic location right on Lake Garda, yet it's not directly on the main road (making it relatively quiet).
From the hotel, you can easily walk to the various nearby restaurants along the promenade, or alternatively, you can take advantage of the convenient and affordable bus connections, for example, to Malcesine or Bardolino.
Especially with kids, the combination of the lake and the pool was perfect in our opinion.
We can definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation! :)

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Exceptionally clean rooms. Our cleaning lady does an exemplary job. The furnishings are a bit dated. Great view of the lake. So far, a very nice holiday. Parking in the underground garage! Dogs are allowed if you like. The main road is only 100 meters away, but hardly bothersome.

Absolutely recommended! This fantastic hotel! We had a two-bedroom suite with a connecting door, a great balcony, a bathroom, and everything was spotless. Breakfast had everything you could wish for, served on a beautiful terrace, and they kept bringing out fresh croissants! Everything was perfect. The pool was great with plenty of sun loungers, and the garden was beautifully landscaped with gorgeous roses in every color! The owners, especially Natalia and the junior manager, were extremely friendly and attentive; they went out of their way to help us, even accompanying us to our room and the bike storage. The location is superb, right on the bike path by the river! We even received a lovely parting gift! Grazie mille, we'll be back!

Large family rooms, excellent breakfasts on a beautiful terrace surrounded by beautiful, fragrant vegetation. The pool is small, but adequate for children. The bus stop to Malcesine and at least two excellent restaurants are very close by, and a small beach is 700 meters away. Excellent value for money.

Great location. Welcoming service and good breakfast. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved as we found them a bit dusty and perhaps add blackout shades to the windows. For the rest we enjoyed the stay, also with the two pools (the indoor pool was not very heated)

We spent the weekend at this lovely hotel. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is truly excellent – everything is fresh and there's a huge selection. The pool is great and the garden is beautiful, and dogs are welcome and allowed everywhere. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We stayed at this hotel with our two dogs for a week in September and had a very comfortable stay.
The large covered breakfast terrace was lovely, and the breakfast itself was also good.
The rooms are super clean, and the cleaning staff were always very friendly.
Dogs were allowed to use the pool, which was a huge plus. The pool was also clean and nice.
The only minor drawback is the underground parking garage, which was a real challenge with our Q5.
The bus stop is almost right outside the front door. Brenzone is rather quiet and tranquil. To get there by ferry, it's advisable to take the bus to Garda or Malcesine.

I've never encountered such hospitable people as in this restaurant. In addition to some very pleasant conversations, the owners offered us a personal ride home. The dishes and drinks are comparatively inexpensive and freshly prepared. I highly recommend it. I'd be happy to return if the opportunity arises.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cleanliness throughout the hotel deserves special mention. Enjoying breakfast on the magnificent terrace is the first highlight of the day. Villa Isabella is a very well-maintained property. The rooms are spotless, and some even have views of the lake, just a few meters from Villa Isabella. The owners and staff are extremely kind. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. There is private covered parking, and within the parking lot, an elevator provides direct access to the rooms. Highly recommended!!!

A dream of a family-run 34-room hotel. All rooms have balconies and air conditioning. The impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean grounds with a pool are meticulously spruced up daily by Aurelio, the "tuttofare" (a term for a dedicated caretaker). The views of the lake and Monte Baldo further enhance the holiday atmosphere. The owner's wife attends to guests' every need at breakfast, which is very generous and surpasses the quality of comparable establishments. Language barriers are nonexistent here. Approximately 80% of the guests come from Germany, the rest from Italy, Western and Eastern Europe. Those who wish to can easily strike up a conversation with other guests by the pool. The video was filmed on the only rainy day. In the surrounding streets or just a short walk away, there are plenty of pizzerias and restaurants for lunch or dinner, a Spar supermarket, and a very good snack bar for a quick bite or a refreshing drink. Two towns with additional restaurants are within walking distance, about 1 km to the north and south. For everything else, you'll need the car.

The two of us stayed there from June 20th to June 26th, 2022. Great 3-star hotel with a very nice pool and balcony, with either a mountain or lake view (although the balconies on the lake-view side were incredibly narrow). Friendly staff. The underground parking was very tight, but at least there was a shady spot. The surrounding area was very well-equipped for dinner and small errands at the supermarket within walking distance. The lake is directly opposite, really beautiful. The rooms could use a renovation (there are a shortage of power outlets, no shelves in the closet for storing t-shirts, etc.).
Breakfast was plentiful, although always the same. Everything was there.
All in all, we would happily come back here again and can recommend it to those who aren't so demanding.

We felt very welcome here. Everyone was really nice, and it was easy to strike up a conversation. We were always welcome to ask questions.
The rooms and the entire complex were very clean and well-maintained. The room had a small refrigerator, and the beds were comfortable with neck pillows.
We had a great view of the mountains and a large balcony.
I always say, if you can't find anything at breakfast, it's your own fault. The selection is decent, and there was always fresh fruit and cake.
Our dog was very welcome. He was even allowed to come out onto the terrace for breakfast.
We always found a space in the underground parking garage. It takes a bit of skill to park, but it's manageable.
There are two supermarkets nearby, and restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away.
We will be back!

A fantastic place. Below are some important details:
1. Great hosts who are always attentive to their guests!
2. The location is very close to the lake, so guests can choose between the pool and the lake :)
3. Note: the pool is closed from 12:30 to 15:00 (siesta...)
4. Breakfast - everything is provided: eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, croissants, ham, cheese, tomatoes... fruit, yogurt, cakes... super coffee!
5. If you arrive before check-in time and there's a room available, you'll get it :)
6. Parking - underground - narrow spaces for a large car. Outside, there's space for a maximum of 4 cars.
7. There's no restaurant/bar on-site... so you won't be able to buy anything, but everything is nearby: shops, restaurants, bars...
8. About 1km away is a great full-size stadium/field - information for those who enjoy playing football. The view from the field is amazing. 9. Average prices nearby on June 2024: tiramisu 5 euros, pizza 10-12 euros, coffee 2.5 euros, Aperol Spritz 5-6 euros.
10. Caneva Water Park is a 50-minute drive away - recommended for families with children. Entrance fee for adults is 34 euros.
11. It's a quiet place, but be warned: there's a fairly busy street nearby, so keep small children in the picture at all times.
Overall, I recommend this place - you just need to get good weather.

We spent a wonderful holiday here as a family with a toddler (<2)! The hotel has an excellent location. Not directly on the main road, yet a pizzeria, bar, and supermarket are just around the corner. It's pleasantly quiet in the evenings—not too quiet. Just right for us. I had wondered beforehand whether we would have a nice, clean crib for our child. And whether there would be a highchair in the breakfast room. Of course! It was a proper crib, not a travel cot. And it even had a nest. And there were two highchairs too.
The hotel owners and the staff were simply wonderful. Such genuine friendliness and helpfulness. We just felt at home. Everything was very, very clean. A relief, especially with a crawling child!
I had previously read comments about the limited variety in the breakfast. Everything was there! I couldn't imagine what else could have been served.
Conclusion: We definitely want to come back :-)

We spent a three-night short break for two at the Hotel Villa Isabella. The hotel has an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, everything was well-maintained and clean. Our room on the fourth floor with a small balcony was clean and had a stunning view of the lake and mountains. The building also has an elevator and an underground garage with plenty of free parking. The breakfast was delicious and included everything you could need. We highly recommend the hotel. Just a few minutes' walk from the lake, there's a pizzeria, restaurant, mini-market, and a bar by the lake. It's a quiet location, but thanks to the hotel owner's recommendations, there are plenty of things to do in the nearby towns. The hotel owners and staff are all very friendly. This was our first time in Italy, and thanks to the owners of Villa Isabella, it was a wonderful holiday. The hotel is beautiful! The entire property is very clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-located! All the staff are very attentive and dedicated to ensuring guests are happy! We felt very comfortable every day. The breakfast was delicious. I'd never tasted honey straight from the honeycomb before! A fantastic experience. My husband enjoyed delicious cake every day, undoubtedly homemade! And as a parting gift, they even provided us with travel provisions since we were leaving before breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful Hotel with a super friendly service. Great location just a stones throw from the lake and within 15 minutes walk several resturants, pool was clean and relaxing, daily cleaning service was excellent. Would highly recommend this Hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay in Lake Garda.

We stayed with two families (4 adults, 4 young kids) for 10 days this summer at Villa Isabella.
What’s great is that everything is clean. The room cleaning service is every day and they do a great job. The garden and the pool, no exception either.
The breakfast is great and offers a wide variety of fresh and quality breakfast delights (our kids loved the fresh water melon).
Location: it is located just a few meters from the beautiful Garda lake. From the room we had a beautiful view on the rocks surrounding the lake. Do pay attention to the busy main street between the hotel and the lake. From the place of Assenza it is easy to travel and explore hotspots around the lake and other places (Lake Tenno, Varone waterfall/caves/botanic gardens,
Verona, Venezia, etc).
Great pool. Very inviting to swim. Kids loved it. It’s quiet around the pool. Great to relax.
Lake Garda. Amazing. Take water shoes with you or enjoy a painful foot massage from the pebble beach and the rocks in the water.
Parking garage. Big plus. It is rather narrow but we usually found a parking place in the garage. Alternatively, you can park outside.
The owners are such kind and generous people. We even got a nice chilled bottle of white wine as a present at the check out.
All in all good value for money and we recommend you give Villa Isabella a try for your next stay at the Garda lake. We will certainly come back again.

The staff were very KIND and helpful; they immediately resolved two small issues.
The generous breakfast buffet satisfies all tastes.
The room is SPACIOUS and very CLEAN.
The parking lot below the hotel is covered and under video surveillance.
The POOL is fantastic, set in a beautiful garden, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to use it. :)

Villa Isabella is practically the only hotel in the area that has an indoor pool (opening in 2022) in addition to an outdoor pool. This is a huge plus, especially for less favorable weather or milder seasons.
You can also park your car in the parking lot or underground garage. I think this is also important, as it means you're not exposed to Italian traffic.
The breakfast is more varied for a 3-star hotel than it should be, given its category.
Overall, the complex is clean and well-maintained, but still a bit dated.
If the location were closer to Garda or Bardolino, there would be a wider selection of restaurants and places to stroll. There are three or four places within walking distance where you can also find something to eat in the evening.

We thought the hotel was great. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and spacious. There's an underground parking garage, which I really appreciated. The hotel has an elevator that takes you from the upper level to the underground parking garage, so you don't have to lug your suitcases around. The service was excellent; the reception staff speaks German, among other languages, and they even offer suggestions for activities.

We spent our summer vacation at the Hotel Villa Isabella. It's a decent hotel located directly on Lake Garda.
The rooms are clean, small, and a bit noisy, but they have air conditioning, a refrigerator, and standard amenities.
The pool is also attractive and inviting for a dip. From the hotel, you have a limited but still great view of the mountains and the lake.
The breakfast is simple and unvaried, but okay. The underground parking garage is very narrow, but you can usually find a parking space there.
The beautiful neighboring town of Malcecine is about 10 minutes away – there are plenty of things to do from there. Buses there leave every 15 minutes, almost in front of the hotel. There's also a supermarket and a pier nearby.
The reception is open during the day, but we initially found the gentleman at the front desk to be less than friendly. Instead of asking how the long journey was (11 hours), we were immediately reprimanded for speaking German. We weren't wished a safe journey on our departure either. However, we always received answers to all other questions. We would recommend the hotel with reservations but would not choose it again.

Unfortunately, not so great! The room furnishings are very dated, and attention to detail is lacking. Lamps are broken, stools are very dirty, etc. The breakfast terrace was still as dirty when we left as it was when we arrived. The breakfast is good and offers a decent selection. The hotel thrives on its location and the pool. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't as well-maintained as one would hope. My complaint that the pool was very cloudy was addressed, and the caretaker threw hand-white chlorine from a bucket into the pool while the pool was still open. It's insane! We also didn't like the hotel guests' dogs, who were running around the pool and sitting on the loungers. There should be some rules here.
The very short walk to the lake and the restaurants within walking distance are great. This hotel could be improved considerably! All in all, it's OK for a couple of nights!

A good hotel in the village of Assenza, with a pool set in a beautiful garden, located on a side street but still less than 50 meters from Lake Garda.
Competent and helpful staff and management.
Good, varied breakfast.
Restaurants and bistros nearby.
A small supermarket,
bus stop, and boat dock are also on site (better ferry connections are available in Malcesine, however).
The only drawback is the parking: the underground garage is a bit too narrow, and there aren't enough outdoor spaces.
We still had a great time and can recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel on Lake Garda. We really liked the location. Lake Garda is practically on your doorstep, along with the bike path, bus stop, and ferry. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket nearby.
The rooms are furnished in typical Italian style and are perfectly adequate. We had a refrigerator and a balcony overlooking the lake. There are plenty of loungers and parasols by the pool.
An underground parking garage and bicycle storage are also available.
The breakfast was sufficient and there was something for everyone.
The staff is very friendly.
We didn't give it five stars because of the cleanliness. The rooms are cleaned every day and are clean, but the cups at breakfast, for example, weren't clean. The pool floor should be cleaned more often.
But we had a great time here and will definitely come back.

When we arrived, we immediately encountered our first problem. The parking situation in the underground garage was a disaster. It was virtually impossible for our car (a Mercedes sedan) to park there. Afterward, we went to the hotel to check in. In my opinion, the supposed manager wasn't very friendly. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were, in summary, okay. The double bed was okay, and the extra bed was quite hard. But it was bearable. The air conditioning was available and did its job. The room was also cleaned every day by the staff. The bathroom is quite dark, and the shower is relatively small.
The hotel's location is very good. It's a short and direct walk to the beach. A few food and drink options were also within easy reach.
The pool was good, and the loungers had umbrellas. However, the pool floor was sometimes a bit dirty. During our stay, the lawn was only mowed once. It was also noticeable that the gardeners, while trying hard, didn't seem to have much of an idea of what they were doing.
The breakfast lacked variety and wasn't particularly good quality.
Overall, unfortunately, it was only satisfactory.

Absolutely satisfied. It's clear that the hotel's heyday was in the 1990s. Nevertheless, everything is clean, and the rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. The staff does everything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. I personally can't tolerate wheat products, and the staff even got gluten-free bread especially for me. Now that's what I call service. We'd love to come back

Very nice, friendly, family-run hotel. Breakfast was adequate despite the coronavirus pandemic, so why some people write negative reviews is incomprehensible. Simply book a higher rating of 2 stars if it's not enough for you. Booking 3 stars and expecting 5 stars doesn't work. The room was great, lake...pool...view...with a small garden. Very friendly staff and owners...were always helpful, and the drinks were excellent. The hotel is 40 meters from the lake...there are three or four restaurants within walking distance...you can eat great food there...maybe make a reservation in advance...but you'll have to wait a bit to get in.
Excursions by bus are possible...and there's everything you need for sports nearby at the lake...the swimming area is great if you have water shoes with you...it's just a rocky beach...you can have nice conversations with the owners...they speak many foreign languages...including German (-;

A beautiful, clean, family-run hotel with exceptionally friendly and always helpful staff who genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. The owners and their staff speak several languages in addition to Italian, so you can communicate at any time. Our suite was very clean and lovingly furnished, equipped with a kettle, various teas and coffees, and a refrigerator. The view from our terrace extended all the way to the beach (about 40 meters away) and the very clean pool. Breakfast was very well organized and perfectly adequate under COVID-19 conditions, always with fresh fruit and vegetables and various coffee specialties. The table was cleaned and disinfected after each guest.
Great drinks were also available at the bar from the owner himself, whether by the pool or in the room.
Many excursion options nearby, a pizzeria and several restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as well as a small supermarket. We are very satisfied and would gladly visit this hotel again.

The hotel was located in the second row off the main road. Parking was available in the hotel's own garage. The pool was clean and large. The room was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and the balcony offered a beautiful view of the lake. The breakfast was varied and always delicious. What stood out, however, was the dedication the owners showed to their guests. The hospitality was truly wonderful.

The location is fantastic, about 25 meters from the lake. The hotel is located in the second row on a small street, in a very quiet area. The owners were super nice people, with whom we even enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening; we felt very comfortable there! There are some great restaurants and bars within walking distance! The village of Assenza is also not overrun with tourists. It won't be the last time I'll be there :)

Very good 3 star accommodation clean, rooms have large TV no English channels though, air con, safe, hairdryer and some rooms have lake view, a must, as just across the road. Good breakfast something for everyone, eggs, bacon continental cheese and meats, cereals, fresh fruit, toast, croissants, drinks, serve yourself buffet sitting on the terrace looking at the well kept gardens. And not forgetting underground parking a great plus point as parking is difficult and expensive. The hotel and pool are very clean, staff are pleasant, the hotel is mainly occupied by Germans so no rowdy Brits. Lake Garda is BEAUTIFUL. So if you want clean and quiet accommodation with the lake a stones throw away this should suit you.

Hotel Villa Isabella is located near Lake Garda.
The lake is just a short walk across a side street and the main road.
Approximately 70% of the rooms offer a direct or partial view of the lake. The rooms facing the rear have a beautiful view of the Monte Baldo mountain range.
Breakfast can be enjoyed on the covered terrace, from which you can watch the kites of surfers skimming along the shore between and above the buildings.
The hotel is located in the Assenza district. There are few shops and restaurants here, but Malcesine and Brenzone are about 4 and 6 km away, respectively, and can easily be reached by bus.
There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby, and we found some interesting pizzerias and osterias.
A footpath runs along the lake in both directions, but it is shared with cyclists. This path is perfect for pleasant walks along the lake.
... We felt very comfortable and were able to relax very well.

Whether with family or motorcycle friends, we love staying at this place. Within a maximum of 5 minutes you can reach four pizza restaurants, complemented by several small bars. Anyone who needs a minute to get to the beach must have lead in their feet :-)), or perhaps they indulged a little too much in wine the night before.
A shaded underground parking garage is available for motorcycles and cars.
The breakfast offered is plentiful (it wasn't always like this +++). Bread rolls, whole-wheat rolls, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, etc. etc. The team is friendly and very helpful.
