This was the most beautiful week of our lives! ️ Agriturismo San Maggiore is an absolutely magical place – full of peace, beauty, and genuine warmth. Every morning started with breathtaking views of Lake Garda, surrounded by silence, nature, and air that smelled of forest and calm.
The hosts are truly wonderful – kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. We felt like we were visiting old friends rather than staying in a guesthouse. Breakfasts were delicious, made with love and full of local flavors.
The rooms are cozy and spotless, and the whole property feels like a little haven of serenity, immersed in nature and tranquility. Our dog Fenek was also in heaven – he had plenty of space to explore and was treated with so much kindness.
I left this place with tears in my eyes. I couldn’t even say goodbye to our amazing host because I knew I’d break down. That’s how much this place touched my heart.
This is the kind of place you carry in your soul long after you leave. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we truly hope to come back again and again. ️

The Agritur San Maggiore is simply fantastic! The pool with its magnificent lake and mountain views makes this agritur special. If you're looking for a quiet place to escape the tourists, then this is the place for you! Yes, you'll have to accept the drive (10 minutes from Malcesine each way), but we would do it again! We found it incredibly relaxing; we had a room with two sun loungers, and each room had a wonderful view of the mountains. We were even able to use the pool until after 9 p.m.
The breakfast is also good for the price. There's a different type of cheese every day (Gorgonzola, Ricotta, etc.).

If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, away from tourism, close to the mountains and the forest, with stunning views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains, then this is the place for you, in our experience. Our dog felt just as comfortable as we did. The owners are very friendly and always concerned about their guests' well-being. They offer tips on things to do and where to find great food outside of the tourist areas. The hiking trails directly from the farm are partly very natural and, if you wish, even lead you all the way up to Monte Baldo. The mid-station, for example, is easily accessible. We'd love to come back with our Emmy.

Once you've noticed that the distance to the lake is very generous (as the crow flies), you'll really enjoy this spot. Wonderfully quiet, with a beautiful view of the lake. Very accommodating hosts, excellent cleaning service (with small, thoughtful touches in the room). And then, at the very latest, you'll gladly accept the drive up the mountain on the second day

The agriturismo is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming.
The family is very kind.
The classic room is satisfactory, but I don't understand why they provide a tea set for you to make herbal teas, but the tray where it should have been is empty.
I can't comment on the service because we only had breakfast, which was decent; the croissants were missing for us Italians.
The location, unfortunately, is very unfortunate and doesn't make me want to return, but that's only because the road to get there is horrible and discouraging.

A brand-new and very clean farmhouse, we even call it "pampering." We spent 6 truly beautiful and rewarding days!!!
I'll start with the people who welcomed and looked after us (the family), who were friendly, professional, and incredibly kind!!! They recommended places to go and great places to eat, and we must say they were truly "very satisfying" choices.
The perfect place for a complete break and relaxation, which also offers a genuine breakfast!!!
We'll definitely be back because the place is worth it, and so are they, who are delightful people... including the kittens!

A beautiful and superbly maintained accommodation with a priceless view! Located away from the hustle and bustle – you can truly unwind here. The host family is very kind and friendly. Thanks, Alessandro, for the great restaurant tips! The drive is less dramatic than described. Anyone who can drive will get here easily! We will definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation (with our two dogs, who were also warmly welcomed).

We spent four wonderful days: a place of absolute peace, immersed in nature without any city noise. The view of the lake is spectacular. The farmhouse is brand new and meticulously maintained; not a leaf out of place, both the grounds and the rooms were immaculately clean, and were tidied up every morning. The room had a small refrigerator, which was very useful for keeping fruit and drinks cool. The owners are kind and helpful, and provided us with lots of useful information. Breakfast was excellent, with ample options, both sweet and savory.

We stayed two nights and were warmly welcomed. The owners are incredibly helpful and kind.
The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, both sweet and savory, even for those with lactose intolerance. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything you need. The location is quiet, surrounded by nature, with a splendid view of the lake. We'll definitely return.

We felt very comfortable there. The rooms are impeccably maintained and cleaned daily. The owners are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is varied and plentiful.
We spent our wedding anniversary there and were delighted to receive sparkling wine and flowers with our breakfast.

Very nice accommodation, away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Garda. The ride up the mountain is a bit strenuous for motorcyclists, but manageable.
The family is very helpful, and the rooms are very clean.
There's a pool, and the view is a highlight.
The breakfast was a pleasant surprise—a delicious apple crumble cake!
We'd love to come back.

Very quiet location, super clean, very filling breakfast with first-class smoked ham or bacon. A good butcher. Really nice rolls and delicious cakes to go with it. Please make sure your car is in good working order, though; the clutch is subject to considerable strain. The access is completely single-lane, so be very careful, but it's manageable. Absolutely fresh air up there, no country air from cows or the like. Very nice building/complex. Good WiFi with only sporadic dropouts.

I chose this farmhouse because my dog was welcome, and the other one because of its enviable location. In this place suspended between the lake below (easily accessible by car or nearby cable car) and the mountain above (Monte Baldo, accessible by cable car), I spent a wonderful week having everything at my disposal, lake and mountains. The friendly, professional, and helpful owners touched my heart. Fantastic people!!!

Absolutely perfect!
Dream location: high above Malcesine, with a sublime view of the lake. Malcesine offers many restaurants at all prices and all kinds of shops. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. The pool was available even though the season was still a little cool. The breakfast is very complete, generous, and delicious. We were welcomed by Claudio and his mother, olive oil producers, and very friendly. In short, excellent value for money.

A very nice hotel with a wonderful view. The rooms were very well-maintained and modern. The pool was always available and included in the price. The breakfast was perfect and had everything. The view of Lake Garda while having breakfast is especially indescribable. We also arrived by motorcycle and were allowed to park it in the garage overnight. We will be back.

Beautiful agriturismo in a great, quiet location above Malcesine. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is excellent, although self-service is currently unavailable. The pool is great. Accessibility takes some getting used to; you'll need to be prepared if you have a large car. Parking is plentiful and readily available.

Great location, beautiful view of the lake. Everything was lovingly designed, breakfast was very plentiful, and hygiene rules were very well enforced. Given the somewhat remote location, the option of a cappuccino in the afternoon would have been nice. Otherwise, everything was very clean. The pool isn't too big, but it's refreshing. Highly recommended!

Prime location with an excellent lake view. Peace and quiet guaranteed. A generous breakfast is served in the garden, allowing you to relax while gazing out at the lake. The pool is small but adequate for the agriturismo's guests.
Clean rooms with a terrace or garden. Given the distance from the center, it would be perfect if there was a small drinks/cafeteria service during the day for guests who don't have food or drinks.

We booked this farmhouse for the week of August 15th. It's a beautiful place surrounded by nature, where tranquility and peace reign supreme. The view of the lake is enchanting. Every morning, the owner meticulously treated us to hearty, wholesome breakfasts. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and cleaned every day. I will definitely return and highly recommend it. Highly recommended for its location alone. Add to that the well-designed grounds, exceptional cleanliness, and very friendly hosts. When getting there, follow the directions on the website rather than the GPS. Not to mention the very hearty breakfast, the tranquility, and the fantastic view. All in all, highly recommended.

Super Ausstattung, tolle Lage, ruhig gelegen, top Frühstück für Italien, toller Pool, nette Gastgeber! Nur die Anfahrt über kleine steile, kurvige Nebenstraßen mag nicht jeder, aber für uns kein Problem. Wir fanden es Klasse!

Es war ein sehr entspannter Urlaub , die Nähe zum Gardasee und die Ruhe im Hause San Maggiore. Mit offenen Fenster schlafen zu können, keine Mücken und kein Stassenlärm war wirklich eine Erholung. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, die Besitzer waren immer bereit über alles Auskunft zu geben und zu unterstützen. Sicherlich werden wir wieder einen Urlaub in diesem Hause planen.
