Agriturismo Il Cigno is located in Valeggio sul Mincio, halfway between the Castello Scaligero of Valeggio and Visconti Bridge of Borghetto. Borghetto, a district of Valeggio sul Mincio is part of the association “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” being one of the most beautiful localities of Italy. Our guests will look forward to a historical premise dating back to the 18th century with six comfortable apartments. Our house in the province of Verona is surrounded by a dreamlike natural landscape along river Mincio. During your holidays in our Agriturismo, you will learn to appreciate the little things of life and the soothing effect of tranquillity and nature. Our large garden is perfect for drinking an aperitif, relaxing at the poo with whirlpool or for a barbecue evening. On request, we offer a breakfast for 5 € per person.

Nature as inspiration

Our 6 apartments have names that perfectly suit the natural landscape surrounding our house: Cala, Ciliegio (cherry), Girasole (sunflower), Papavero (poppy), Rosa (rose) and Tulipano (tulip). Each floor has two apartments. The apartments on the ground floor have a separate entrance via the garden as well as 1 bedroom, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, living room with kitchenette and stove, microwave and fridge as well as satellite TV. The other four apartments on the upper floors can be reached by stairs and they have the same furnishings as the other apartments. Children are very welcome and are offered a free stay up to three years. Pets are allowed. Our apartment price also includes the costs for air conditioning and heating, water, electricity, gas, internet access and the final cleaning. Also, we offer kitchen towels, bath towels, bed linen and a beauty kit.

Discovering the environs

The guests in our Agriturismo Il Cigno in Valeggio sul Mincio are offered bikes for rental (7 € per bike and day). You can discover the surroundings by bike or on foot. We highly recommend the cycle path along river Mincio connecting Mantova with Peschiera del Garda and a visit of Parco Giardino Sigurtà. Also, you should see the centres of Borghetto and Valeggio sul Mincio, Mantova and Verona. The amusement parks at lake Garda are ideal for families with kids.
