Wonderfully beautiful, I recommend it to anyone who wants to go there with their family the apartment is great, two pools are great, lots of loungers, barbecues, a playground, parking space. What more could you want?

The driveway is very narrow and steep. There was an ID Buzz in the parking space, so it made it.
The apartment itself is okay, but nothing more. We were missing a kettle in the kitchen, the beds were pretty lousy, and the house is extremely noisy. When the neighbors came late at night or the toilet flushed at night, sleep was out.

A cool, atmospheric place, slightly off the beaten track. Getting there is a bit of a struggle, but don't worry – it's doable – there was a Skoda Kodiaq in the parking lot, so it's not a big car. I think the fact that towels and bed linen are available for an extra fee is a bit of an exaggeration, but there are also some definite downsides:
- poorly equipped kitchen (no kettle, no wine glasses, etc.)
- no on-site service, so if you run out of toilet paper or garbage bags, it's your own business.

Nicely renovated (kitchen from the 80s?), our 2-bedroom/3-bed apartment had no soundproofing and exposed rafters (!), so it was better for the kids to sleep downstairs and the parents upstairs to be able to sleep at all. Great pool area, terraced with several sun loungers. Bakery Forno and Bar Babo, 100m away, are highly recommended. Beautiful beach and several restaurants within walking distance via the old town streets. The access road is narrow and steep but manageable! Otherwise, there are a few (white-marked) parking spaces 100m downhill.

We stayed for 14 days in September.
Everything was nice and clean, although the pool wasn't particularly nice at around 24 degrees.
The point that many reviewers have criticized here needs to be addressed.
The operators state that the access road is narrow and steep. You just have to be prepared for it. But anyone familiar with Italy won't have a problem with that. However, it must be admitted that an SUV or even an Abarth, which we once had (lower), would have problems.
You should also be aware that Maria from reception is only available from 6 p.m. onwards.
For us, it was a great stay.

We've stayed here several times. The apartments are always very clean. Parking is a bit tricky, but manageable. We can easily get in with a 5-meter-long car. Overall, excellent value for money and highly recommended!

The house is beautifully restored and romantic. We viewed several apartments during our vacation. All are different and have their own charm. Of course, there are some complaints. There's no oven/grill or at least a toaster. The bakery is within walking distance (900 meters), but you wouldn't want to walk there every day. The microwave isn't a great advantage either.
The pools and the terraced garden are as described.

However, the entrance is very narrow. After driving up and down it a couple of times, it gets easier. :)

The driveway to the parking lot is a real adventure, at least the first few times, and requires maneuvering with centimeter precision (see video). Of all the parking spaces, I find parking space number 3 the most suitable, especially if you want to be able to easily get back out of the parking lot later.

A super atmospheric spot! Especially the rooms on the top floor! Beautiful views of the old tenement houses and rooftops. Access to the parking lot is very difficult. Narrow streets, tight spaces. Not everyone can handle it; some guests parked their cars downstairs. On the other hand, it was an extreme first time; I wasn't supposed to drive there after that, but it turned out I drove by it every day or two. And you have to take into account that the floor in the two-story apartment creaks terribly... but age has its rights.

Fantastic accommodation, highly recommended, and will definitely book again! The access is a bit adventurous and not suitable for large cars. I had a hard time finding it with my Jeep. The directions for the access road are quite hidden, but I found it! The dog beach and bakery are close and can be reached on foot or with a short morning stroll!

We spent five days there in October as a group of four (one couple and two friends) and were absolutely thrilled.
We had a beautifully renovated apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a combined living room and kitchen. Both bathrooms and showers were very spacious.
The two-level pool area is impeccably maintained, with sun loungers spread across three levels of the lawn. From there, you have a lovely view of the church steeple and Lake Garda.
There's also a shared washing machine available near the entrance (it's a bit hidden). Clothes drying racks are readily available.
It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment to a small, quiet stretch of beach.

Very nice, with some drawbacks. A smaller vehicle is best, as the access road and parking situation are very tight. Since I can only speak for our apartment: it's generally okay, but the second bedroom is unfortunately more of a dark storage room. The bathroom lacks hooks for hanging towels, and the shower is very cramped. Not suitable for anyone of a larger build. On the plus side, there's direct access to the swimming pool and a lovely terrace with a great view.

A beautifully restored historic property in the charming town of Toscolano Maderno. The apartment features a vaulted ceiling and a natural stone kitchen and bathroom. Everything is very clean and fully equipped. The Borgo is very dog-friendly, and there's a dog beach by the lake. The garden and pool area are well-stocked with sun loungers and parasols, and the view is stunning. As mentioned in other reviews, access to the parking area can be challenging if you're not driving a small car. Definitely scout it out on foot beforehand! The bakery is just around the corner, and supermarkets are easily accessible. All in all, we highly recommend the Borgo and its friendly and hardworking manager, Maria!

I'm giving it three stars only because the property is enchanting, the pool is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant. Unfortunately, however, I'm giving the staff a solid "0 stars" because the lady who looked after us was truly rude and impolite from check-in to check-out. I'd suggest changing her to someone who's more willing to be there. Another thing that's not exceptional is the sunlight; the apartments are practically completely dark (north-facing or not at all). While they create a very relaxing atmosphere at night, it would have been nicer to think about the building differently. Prices range between €150 and €200 per night depending on the size of the property and the season. I'd say they're quite reasonable for the beauty of the property and the details of the apartments. Another reason I'm giving it three stars is the parking/parking space, as it's so tight that you really risk damaging your car and making it hard to move once you've managed to do so. Overall, I recommend it as a place to stay if you're planning on staying for 4-5 days so you don't have to move your car (and above all, try to avoid meeting the lady at reception as much as possible, as she can ruin your mood with her not-so-pleasant jokes).

The accommodation was generally fine. You can't expect luxury; the furniture is dated, the sofa bed is completely useless (sagging and smells), and the rooms are very noisy, but otherwise everything is clean and everything you need is there. The driveway to the accommodation is not suitable for large cars.

Beautiful accommodation with a swimming pool for both adults and children, cleanliness and a nice receptionist. The only major downside is that you can hear everything from next door in the apartment, so it is very noisy. Access to the apartment is also for more experienced drivers and a rather small car.

We stayed for a week in mid-May. I thought it was great for the money you pay. Of course it is a bit dated but very neat and clean when we arrived. We were on the third floor and had the bedroom above with the stairs. A bit inconvenient when going to the toilet at night. That is why we left a light on downstairs. The apartment is very dark at night.
We were also shocked at how narrow the road to the parking lot was when we arrived. I have a BMW x2 and is therefore a bit wider. I dared to do it later and have done the road to the parking lot every day without damage and problems. I did fold in my side mirrors. That saves space of course. Not experienced but it is of course annoying if a car comes down just as you are driving up. For the rest it should be doable for an experienced driver. What we found disappointing about Lake Garda is that there is a lot of traffic jams to destinations on the lake. The ferry offers a solution but is also not really cheap if you want to go to Bardolino or Garda, but that is separate from the accommodation.

The accommodation has a lot of charm. The furnishings are a bit dated, which didn't bother us. You just have to be okay with creaky floorboards :-) BUT: Please take note of the advice to familiarize yourself with the surroundings on foot first. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you don't have a powerful car or if your car is a bit (!) low. Also, the stated clearance of 2.40m to 2.60m isn't accurate... finding a parking space in the area is no problem in the off-season. It might be difficult in the peak season.

Beautiful 18 apartments in a renovated historic building on a hillside, with views from the pool across the old town to Lake Garda. Please note: Large cars are not suitable due to the narrow access road. Furthermore, you should be able to walk a good distance, as the nearest supermarket is 1.5 km away, and you might not always want to drive through the narrow streets to the main road.
Nevertheless, it's worthwhile for anyone who wants to experience authentic Italy rather than the typical tourist amenities.

The complex is very beautiful and well-maintained. The pools are a real blessing in this heat. The fact that the rooms are equipped with air conditioning is also a big plus. The kitchen is functionally equipped (no oven). The only major drawback is the parking. There is one parking space for each apartment. The access road is a nightmare. Outside the complex, there are very few parking spaces available for visitors. Near the church, there are a few white spaces (free and unlimited), some yellow spaces (for local residents), and blue spaces (paid and time-limited). This situation discourages visitors from taking excursions, as they don't know if they'll find a parking space upon their return.

Great place for a stay with the family. Beautiful view of the lake and nice pools. Nice rooms, too.
The only issue I have with the place is the parking lot. You have to be a skilled driver and need a proper understanding of the boundaries of your car in order to even get to the top of the hill let alone the parking space. Without the help of the friendly facility manager, we would not have a parking space.

Neat but actually overpriced for what you get. The town itself is rather small. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are spotty. Very noisy due to the many apartments in one house and the tiled/wooden floors. Larger cars can hardly park at the borgo, and parking in the surrounding area is difficult.

There are beautiful rooms with wonderful views. Outside, there are three lawns equipped with sun loungers and two pools, one of which is slightly deeper (approx. 1.80m), while the other is also suitable for smaller children (approx. 20cm). There is also a small playground. The various lawns and pools are located on terraces of varying heights. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout most of the property. The key is in the reception, which is usually unmanned. However, the Wi-Fi sometimes goes haywire, which can be extremely annoying. From the lawns and some rooms, you have a beautiful view of the lake, which is within walking distance. Flyers for many activities, such as tandem paragliding, are available at the reception. However, the church bells, which ring as early as 7:00 a.m., and the sewage treatment plant on the beach are annoying.
Conclusion:
A very nice place to relax with few, but not entirely, flaws.

The accommodation is good. The amenities are rather basic. But the location above the lake is fantastic. It's nestled between old houses. This makes the access very narrow and challenging. Parking is also rather limited. The pools are great and there are plenty of loungers, even in the shade.
Reception is unmanned. We couldn't find a washroom.
