After a cappuccino in the biker bar Mecki's with the adjoining bike rental shop and shuttle service, the bike path leads over the river Sarca. Here at Linfano, near Torbole, the bike tour begins right at the mouth of the Sarca River.

The cycle path follows the course of the river and travels pleasantly to Arco. The medieval town with the historically interesting castle offers the ideal ambience for a well-deserved break.

Then it heads north. The route passes through the villages of Ceniga and Dro, then through fields between wineries and olive groves. Under the watchful eye of Castle Drena in the east, the path now approaches the stony desert Marocche di Dro, which was created by glacial movements. For a short time, the road gives an insight into this nature reserve, then it goes on through a cool forest.

The trees clear and all of a sudden you're in the middle of the vineyards of Pietramurata. After crossing the town centre, the journey leads to Sarche. Here cyclists in the Toblino winery can taste the well-known Vino Santo. The Slow Food dessert wine is especially recommended in combination with desserts made from dried fruits. The wine owes its name to its special processing. The grapes are dried until pressing on special wooden grates. Finally, they are pressed in the Settimana Santa - the Holy Week. The grape juice is fermented in oak barrels for three years.

After a glass of legendary dessert wine, head west through a narrow ravine to Ponte Arche and Tione. The following few kilometres lead over the west Gardesana and its side roads, which are sometimes heavily used. This is compensated by the arrival at Lake Toblino. Here is a picturesque view of the Castel Toblino, which rests on a peninsula. It is believed that a temple of the gods stood on the former island thousands of years ago. Today, the magical castle houses a romantic and elegant restaurant.

After a small climb, the path reaches the village of Vezzano. From here we continue to the lakes of Terlago, which represent the end of the cycle path. The distance covers approximately 38 km, the height difference amounts to 400 m and the driving time 2 to 2.5 hours.
