For more than 20 years, the historic Riva del Garda has been transformed once a year into a lively sports venue. From 2nd to 5th May 2024 countless motivated athletes and their bikes will dominate the cityscape for a weekend. Centre of the action is the area at the Palazzo Congressi near the port.

The Bike Festival Garda Trentino is now one of the fixed dates in the international mountain bike scene. Up to 15,000 participants have been counted in recent years on the trails and cycle paths around Riva del Garda. The festival program includes not only guided bike tours and competitions but also a large trade fair, bike tests, entertainment and much more.

The highlight of the Bike Festival, which also marks the beginning of the cycling season at Lake Garda, is undoubtedly the Rocky Mountain Bike Marathon. This is a great challenge for even professionals, as the total distance is more than 100 km long and includes more than 3,500 vertical meters uphill. As an alternative to this "Ronda Extrema", several shorter competition courses are also offered.
