Family activities at Lake Garda

Here, children of all ages can spend fun moments with exciting water sports, safari and amusement parks while parents enjoy peace and relaxation. Lake Garda is a particularly child-friendly holiday region. On the south shore of the lake, the water is sometimes very shallow, so that children can swim and splash safely. There are also some other beaches that are particularly suitable for kids, for example:

• Punta Cornicello in Bardolino, small but with trees and a playground.
• Beach at the port of Pacengo, coarse, shallow sandy beach, some trees, bar and a shower.
• Spiaggia Comunale in Santa Maria di Lugana in front of the peninsula of Sirmione, wide, grassy strip of shore with a playground, pedal boat and parasol rental.
• Spiaggia Sabbioni on the north shore in the centre of Riva, extensive shady trees, gravel beach, artificial swimming island, more suitable for older children because of the deep water.

In the north, on the other hand, it gets more interesting with exciting water sports for young people. Here they can first watch the professional surfers and then maybe even have a trial lesson on the surfboard.
