Santa or Babbo Natale has chosen an extraordinary place to spend the month of December: the fortress (Rocca) in the historic centre of Riva del Garda. In the old water castle directly on the shores of Lake Garda, and today houses the Museum MAG. During the Christmas season, Santa Claus and his elves set up a cosy home on the ground floor of the historic building.
Those who cross the magical bridge to the fortress will be welcomed in the Casa di Babbo Natale by the Christmas fragrance of freshly baked cookies, the sounds of the elves at work, lovely music, a snug feeling and many entertaining games.
The Post office, The Elves Workshop and The Story Room
All fans of Santa Claus in Riva del Garda have the opportunity to meet the warm-hearted man with the white beard and the red hat in person. The hard-working Elves are there along with Natalina (Santa's wife), who bakes delicious cookies for the little visitors. Santa Clause is looking forward to reading the children's letters, listening to their Christmas wishes and their exciting stories.
In the post office, letters from children from all over the world arrive. Anyone who has not yet written their letter to Santa Claus can write it in the post office and drop it directly into Santa's red mailbox.
If you like crafts, then you're in the right place in the Elves workshop. Here the children become Santa's little helpers and can make imaginative crafts and decorations.
In the story room is Babbo Natale's huge bed. Here you can comfortably listen to captivating stories and beautiful fairy tales.
In Natalina's kitchen
Santa and his elves are real sweet tooths! Fortunately, Natalina makes sure there are always freshly baked cookies and hot chocolate. Many even claim that Natalina's hot chocolate is the best in the world!
All children can experience the cooking skills of Santa's wife because a visit to the Casa di Babbo Natale in Riva also includes a delicious snack in the kitchen of Natalina.
The table, deliciously laid with biscuits, chocolate, hot tea, cakes and cookies revitalises and ensures the best Christmas mood.
