Ciottolando con Gusto in Malcesine
At the foot of Monte Baldo, every year at the end of September, the medieval harbour town of Malcesine becomes the backdrop for a delightful culinary hike. The local dishes are served and tasted over a whole weekend. This year the event is on the 23rd and 24th of September 2023!
You Pass by the old harbour, stroll through the picturesque streets and up to the stately castle, take in breathtaking views of the sparkling lake and Monte Baldo, and eat one delicacy after another.
At the event Ciottolando con Gusto, meaning paved with taste, restaurateurs present their products grown here in the narrow streets and on the elegant squares of Malcesine. They present all possible variations of traditional and modern dishes along with the most excellent wines of the area. Malcesine's bars, enotecas, restaurants and pizzerias also offer the full range from aperitivo to dessert, cheese and coffee.
The ticket for the fourteen-stage event includes the gastronomy tour of the historic centre, a visit to the Scaliger Castle of Malcesine and a discount on the spectacular cable car ride to Monte Baldo.
