The Christmas market in Trento
The traditional Christmas market in the historic centre of Trento has been enchanting its visitors for over 20 years with its magical atmosphere, the Christmas music, craft products and sweet and savoury temptations.
The wooden stalls are in the form of small houses spread out in Piazza Fiera and Piazza Cesare Battisti to offer visitors a choice of even more goods and culinary delights. The Christmas market in Trento attracts a large audience during Advent and after.
Around 70 cottages in Piazza Fiera and about 20 stalls in Piazza Battisti will mainly be used to show local crafts made of hay, wood, glass, fabric or ceramics. You can also taste typical specialities and excellent wines from Trentino.
The Christmas market will be held this year from 18 November 2023 to 7 January 2024. The stands are open every day between 10 am and 7.30 pm except Christmas day when it’s closed.
