A good hotel for a short stay, 3 or 4 days. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Service, as always, was very individual. Some were okay, others stood around chatting in the restaurant. Restsurant staff not always helpful beyond what was on the buffet. One floor has renovated rooms; they look very good. We were there twice and I recommend the hotel.

Riva and the Crystal Palace are always worth a visit! This time we had a renovated room, which turned out beautifully. The food and service were excellent! The hotel's location is fantastic; it's just a short walk from the town center in Riva. The weather was perfect this time, too, so we were able to use the sky pool!

From the last-minute phone booking to our departure, the service was super friendly and attentive.
A fantastic breakfast on the rooftop with a pool and breathtaking views of Lake Garda.
Just a few minutes' walk from the lake.
We found the value for money to be excellent.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this hotel and it was a truly special stay. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed. The room delighted us with its spaciousness, beautiful view, and attention to detail – daily cleaning was top-notch, and guests were provided with bathrobes, flip-flops, and a hairdryer.
The hotel staff deserves great praise – professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast was delicious, though somewhat repetitive. It's also a shame there's no way to make your own coffee – you have to order it from the staff.
We extend a special thank you to the gentleman who offered us coffee upon check-out at 5 a.m. – a small but incredibly kind gesture that will remain in our memories for a long time.
On the hotel's rooftop is a beautiful swimming pool with a breathtaking view. Although we didn't swim due to the weather, we often stopped by to admire the panorama.
This is the perfect place for special moments – thank you and we wholeheartedly recommend it!

I have stayed in many hotels over the years and no matter how good they might be you can always find something to critise if you look hard enough. Yes, our room had a couple of things that needed refreshing, but is quickly forgotten about by just how good the hotel is. The staff were all brilliant and made our holiday a pleasure. From the time we first entered the hotel for check in... until leaving, the staff were fantastic!
The stand out members were Zane, Juri and Masimo as they were the frontline staff members we came in to contact each time we ate in the restaurant. All three were outstanding in their professionalism, customer service and polite manner. The shining star had to go to Zane, as she always had a smile on her face and was just outstanding.
Sadly the kitchen staff are the unsung hero's, as they toil away unnoticed. We enjoyed some amazing food and thank them all. Reception staff we equally friendly (Francesca in particular). We enjoyed sitting on the roof top eating breakfast with a view of the lake. Eggs can be cooked by a chef for your preference.
Location of the hotel is probably 15-20 min walk from Riva main square and local shopping centre is very close. Surrounding area was quite busy, but remote enough for peace. Local bus service close by too.
Thoroughly recommend the Kristal and the many other 4-5 star reviews here back ours up too.

Here for the second time this year. Excellent value for money, good dinner, and a very good breakfast on the rooftop in good weather with a view of Lake Garda and the pool. A must! Sunday breakfast with live guitar percussion...an incredible atmosphere. Very happy to be able to experience it a second time.

The hotel itself is very nice. And the rooftop patio is beautiful and having breakfast up there is lovely although can be a bit hot. Rooms felt a little bit dated and had a few things that could’ve been fixed up but the bed are very comfortable. Shower has amazing water, pressure and the view from the balconies awesome. Overall, it’s an amazing very solid hotel hotel but it did but it did not say wow us like some of the other hotels we have stayed in. If this hotel fits your budget I would say value for the money is great. Go ahead and book it.

Yesterday, after 7 days at Kristal-P. Back for the second time at this fantastic hotel. Of note: the head waiter and his crew were first-class. The chef: STARS! Reception and bar: top-notch. We felt very well looked after and cared for. Hopefully, we'll be back next year, because it couldn't be better.

This is such a lovely hotel. Having breakfast in the sunshine on the roof was a real highlight as the food is fabulous. This is a cool, relaxed and stylish hotel with great rooms, fab showers and comfy beds. The service is impeccable. Daniel is the best waiter I have ever had with lovely touches like olives, crisps and burrata and tomatoes as mini appetisers with drinks. This is a great location too, just minutes from the lake and 15 minutes from the old town. Eat at Osteria and Capaninna if you get the chance. Just a dreamy holiday with lovely views at a great hotel!

We have really enjoyed our week-long stay at the hotel. Crystal palace the location of the hotel is literally a 5 to 10 minute walk from the water's edge of lake garder. 100 m away is a very handy shopping precinct where there's a co-op store with lots of great ingredients and fresh food. We are a gluten-free family. Our daughter has celiacs and the hotel have been very accommodating and respectful of her condition. The pool on
the roof is great fun. The nightly entertainment has been brilliant from singers and musicians and the staff at the hotel are very accommodating and very helpful. We will definitely be back again. We love River delgada and we love the crystal palace hotel.

The rooms aren't that great anymore, but the bathroom is quite good.
However, this hotel offers an exceptionally good breakfast. The rooftop terrace with a swimming pool is also a highlight. If you can get the room for €150, definitely go for it. However, the hotel often costs more than €250-300. That, in turn, is too expensive.

We have just returned from a week's holiday in Riva del Garda.The location is incredible and beautiful.We can also consider ourselves very fortunate to have stayed at the Hotel Kristal Palace.Its top notch in every way rooms comfortable and spacious. Reception staff extremely helpful and polite but the one thing that puts this hotel in another league is the restaurant staff and quality of food.Every day is a new menu with a choice of four meals in each category.The waiters were very friendly and so good at their job Thank you Kristal Palace all of you so so much for making it so special.

Just returned from a fantastic week at this beautiful hotel. We were blown away by the stunning rooftop terrace which we made good use of each day. The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful. I'd like to particularly thank the two wonderful ladies who served breakfast and lunch each day on the roof terrace. I's also like to commemorate the excellent customer service from the hotel reception staff. All of them were very friendly and would greet us every time we entered with a warm and happy smile.
One thing I was particularly impressed with was the flexibility offered. As we were visiting the lake for the first time, we wanted to eat out each night rather than have meals at the hotel. Being half board, the receptionist noticed that we were not making use of this. We explained that we wanted to explore the town and eat in different restaurants. She told us we could instead have lunch on the rooftop, rather than an evening meal. This suit us very well as we spent most afternoons on the roof terrace and was really appreciated.
Thank you all for such an enjoyable stay! Will definitely be returning.

The staff are the most helpful and friendliest we have ever encountered! They were the best part of the hotel. Everywhere was clean, any time you asked for assistance they helped you. We went half board, and whilst we personally wouldn’t do that option again (only because we love the hustle and bustle of local restaurants) the breakfast was 10/10, best we have ever had in Italy. The egg and crepe station was amazing, and Mateo was always so accommodating with any requests and remembered my husbands order! The other breakfast options with fresh yogurt and multiple choices for granola was an excellent touch. I loved the timings too, if you were up early or fancied a lazy morning you still had time to get breakfast.
Dinners were nice too, but sometimes the main course wasn’t always something you fancied. With being in Italy we wanted pasta dishes, which you did get for the first course but I wish you had the option to have a larger first course and skip the 2nd course. I appreciate it’s hard to cater for everyone however. The waiter staff remembered details, my husband had a nut allergy and we didn’t make a huge deal but Zane remembered and also anyone else that served us made sure they reassured us each time! She also recommended some wonderful local wines. She was fantastic!
You also got to pick on the night of your dinner what food you wanted, I read in other places that you pick the food at breakfast which didn’t happen which I was grateful for!
We made use of the free bikes, which saved us money, we cycled so many places as there are cycle paths and places to lock your bikes everywhere!
Roberto at the roof bar was amazing and introduced my husband to negroni!
John-Paul was also so helpful and gave us information on a walking route we could take!
We loved Kristal palace and would recommend it - it’s worth the price!

Our stay was ok apart from the food which at best was average.
Can’t understand why it gets good reviews for the food as we found it bland and luke warm.
My wife didn’t like one of the starters and got a filthy look from one of the waiters when the meal was taken away without being eaten
The rooms need better storage for clothes as the shelves are too low down. Be careful of the toilet door as it can get locked and you can’t get out.
If you want a snack from the sky bar such as a pizza you have to wait 30 mins for the chef to cook it from frozen
A plus for the hotel is the music in the evening.

This modern, well-equipped hotel is within easy walking distance of the lakeside promenade, and the city center is also within walking distance.
The rooms offer a comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, and a modern shower. The cleanliness was also impeccable.
The hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool, which was pleasantly warm despite the cold temperatures.
The breakfast buffet offers a good selection; the bread wasn't particularly special, but there were plenty of small, sweet cakes and cookies. Dinner is beautifully presented. However, we were surprised that all the dishes were barely seasoned.
The very friendly and always helpful service is outstanding.
In my opinion, this is the highlight of this hotel.

We (unfortunately) only spent one night at this property. Our overall opinion is very positive. The hotel is modern, and the room we received, with a much-appreciated upgrade, was spacious and featured a magnificent terrace overlooking the lake; simply fantastic. All the staff (reception, room service, and rooftop pool area) were extremely kind and helpful. The on-site parking was very convenient (free outside, paid indoor parking). Highly recommended; we will definitely be back.

My partner and I stayed here for one night for his birthday, and in my opinion, we couldn't have made a better choice. It offered impeccable value for money. We booked a Romantic Room, but instead were given a Suite—enormous, elegant, and equipped with every comfort. We spent the scorching afternoon in the rooftop pool, which was actually quite pleasant because it was breezy. The panoramic terrace overlooks the lake and mountains. The pool isn't huge, but it wasn't overcrowded, making it very relaxing. When we returned to our room in the late afternoon, we found a complimentary gift from the hotel, including cookies and a bottle of sparkling wine for my partner's birthday—very welcome and certainly not a given. Dinner was delicious, the service impeccable (kudos to the waiters and the maitre d'), the dishes were meticulously prepared with quality ingredients, and the portions were gourmet. After dinner, we went back up to the top floor and enjoyed two cocktails by the pool, complete with relaxing live music—not at all distracting, and the volume was perfect. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a variety of activities and well-connected to several attractions, just a few minutes' walk from the city center. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Kristal Palace in mid August 2023 and enjoyed a wonderful stay. The staff are very efficient and you are always greeted with a smile particularly at breakfast and dinner. We enjoy Italian food but this was a "step above" - breakfast was served on the roof terrace and there was loads of choice but dinner was the "star of the show" where the food quality and service was "second to none". Every food course was expertly prepared and presented and we would like to thank the staff for an unforgettable dinner experience.
The roof terrace was a real bonus with first class sunbeds for relaxing and a real innovative layout for evening entertainment serviced by the wonderful bar staff.
The room was very spacious with a large bed, great walk-in shower and wonderful views of the mountains but was starting to look a little tired. However overall we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and look forward to returning in the very near future.
We nearly forgot the hotel operates an excellent shuttle bus service which was always punctual and there is a lovely pool on the roof terrace.

Everything was beautiful, and the waiters at both the terrace bar and the restaurant were excellent. The only thing I didn't like was that the jacuzzi in my room (which I love) wasn't working, and since I was only staying for one day, they didn't have time to fix it. That's fine, but I definitely felt like they were offering me a discount on the room rate, and that really annoyed me, and I'm sure I wouldn't ask for it. So... I don't think I'll go back, even though it's very nice and I recommend it.

The staff was super kind, motivated and friendly. We were kindly allowed to check in early and we were very well taken care of. From the amazing breakfast on the roof garden to the live music at night. The only thing I could possibly suggest is to have the possibility to dine with the live music on the roof. As the restaurant included in the half pension is also called Live restaurant although it is not very ‘ live’. The food was excellent and would definitely come again!

Fantastic Hotel a stones throw from the North shore of Lake Garda. Well placed just outside of RIva Del Garda town centre. Food is glorious, albeit, a little more expensive than your average hotel but well worth it. First class srvice they pride themselves on making their customers feel special. Free use of the hotel bikes is available for ease of getting around the shore line. Clean, cool and with all the usual ammenities would stay here again.

Lovely hotel in Riva de Garda. Fabulously appointed room with the biggest double bed I've ever seen. Lovely bathroom with a huge rainfall shower. Great restaurant with excellent breakfast and evening meals served every day. Very polite and helpful staff. We're in a room on the 4th floor which unfortunately doesn't get a lake view due to buildings infront of it. It also has an amazing 6th floor pool and open air bar. However it hasn't been open so far in the week we are here, possibly due to the early May weather being poor. Slightly disappointing that there is no evening entertainment provided.

We weren't quite as impressed with the breakfast – the coffee/cappuccino was bordering on assault, omelets/fried eggs actually cost an extra €5, and some of the scrambled eggs were already cold. Otherwise, the evening meal was fine, but unfortunately, there were no wines by the glass.

The hotel is a dream! Every morning, breakfast with a breathtaking view. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
Every evening (at least during the peak season in July), there was fantastic live music on the rooftop terrace with a unique view of Lake Garda.
The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily.
We had originally booked a different hotel in the same chain, but we didn't like it at all once we arrived, so we were thrilled to be able to change our booking (for an extra charge). It was the best decision!
We felt completely at ease and would have loved to stay longer.

The room was clean and cozy, with a large balcony with a table and chairs and a great view of the mountain. There wasn't a kettle or tea/coffee set in the room, but you can buy some at the bar in the hotel lobby. Water was only available in the minibar, so we bought it from the nearby supermarket. There's a pool on the rooftop; we stayed in winter, so the pool bar wasn't open and the water was cold. However, the rooftop offers a beautiful view of the town and mountains. Breakfast was monotonous: only coffee, juice, or water were available. We asked for tea, probably because it was the off-season, so it's hard to judge what it would be like in summer. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the service was top-notch. Overall, the location is good—there's a shopping mall nearby, including a grocery store called Soor. The lake is a 10-minute walk away, and the city center is also about 10 minutes' walk away.

It’s been a week since we returned from Riva Del Garda and already we’re missing the morning smell of real Italian coffee and the picture postcard views. We booked last minute the last week available in August at the Hotel Kristal Palace and we plan to rebook as soon as possible. This small boutique, Tonnelli family-owned hotel (one of 5), was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Rated at 4+* stars and with fantastic trip advisor reviews (the deciding factor for us booking!) it undoubtedly gave 5+* star service throughout our stay. The hotel itself is in a great location, a short walk to the shores of the lake and approximately 15-20 minute walk from the Riva ferry port. Sounds far but there is a scenic shoreline promenade to walk with so much to take in, the time passes in quick! Close to a local supermarket, shopping centre and bus stops for exploring the area, it sits just a street back from one the main streets which take you into Riva centre. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated with an excellent shower room with toiletries provided. A selection of towels and a delicious fruit platter and bottle of prosecco was there for our arrival to mark our anniversary. A very thoughtful gesture. The Sky Pool bar and roof terrace with pool give you outstanding 360 degree views of the lake and surrounding landscape and provides a blissful environment for an early morning breakfast. The food served is the ultimate Italian cuisine and the fine dining restaurant outdone themselves every night, offering a 4-course meal, created by the talented chefs whom you could watch through the large glass windows that looked directly into the hotel’s kitchen from your table. Throughout the hotel, the cleanliness level is excellent including the attention to detail, which can be found from the sparkling clean window sills with beautiful orchid displays to the pool bag provided with beach towels and flip flops left in your room. A special thanks go to Massimo and the chefs in the restaurant, for going above and beyond to cater for my partners vegetarian requests, to Juri and Zane for their impeccable manners and fantastic friendly service, to Michaelangelo in the Sky Pool bar for creating the tastiest cocktails we’ve ever drank. Although I only name a few I must stress all staff were outstanding in the service they provided. The staff, we feel, ultimately make this place what it is. We had the honour of a chance meeting with one of the Tonnelli family members whilst in the hotel and we were humbled by how grateful he was that we chose one of their hotels to stay in. We thanked him for providing us with the best holiday we could have asked for, the first in 3 years. Without a doubt we will be back and cannot recommend the Kristal Palace enough.

We stayed here on the week of the 29th June for our honeymoon and I can say we were more than impressed with this hotel. The food was absolutely perfect, the staff were so lovely and friendly, we loved our breakfast on the rooftop every morning and the guy who made my crepes was so lovely. We loved the entertainment on a night on the rooftop especially Mauro e Catia, they were fantastic. The bed was so comfortable and didn’t have a problem sleeping at all, room was a nice cool temperature and the Balcony was a lovely touch. Everything about this hotel was perfect and made out first holiday to Italy and honeymoon very special!

Located in Riva del Garda, on Lake Garda's upper shores. Upon arrival, we received the news that we'd been given a room upgrade at no extra cost because we'd recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. That was a great start. The hotel is modern, and the room was lovely with a great bed, a lovely spacious bathroom (rain shower), air conditioning, and good Wi-Fi. There's also a small terrace, which we didn't use much. The extensive breakfast buffet (including a friendly chef who will make your perfect omelet with your choice of toppings upon request, as well as a fruit and vegetable juicer for making your own morning juice) is served on the roof terrace. This terrace has a magnificent view of the lake, which elevates the breakfast experience even further. This terrace is also the place to enjoy live music in the evenings with a delicious cocktail. The quality of the live acts is (usually) very high. Dinner (we opted for the half-board option) is excellent. The salad bar is buffet-style, while the other courses (starter, main course, and dessert) can be chosen from four options. None of the menu options are typical, which allowed us to discover some new delicacies and combinations. However, if you're a fan of fries with stew and lots of mayonnaise, this might not be your cup of tea. Due to the coronavirus (high-risk patient), we requested a table away from the others. This was perfectly accommodated. And this characterizes the overall atmosphere of the staff: very helpful, friendly without being overly familiar, a healthy dose of pride, empathy, and occasionally disarmingly funny. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside is the underground parking lot, where the parking spaces are so tight that it's a real struggle to squeeze your car into a space. There is also a secure parking lot on the ground floor, but it does tend to be full.

A good friend and I have just returned from an amazing holiday at the Kristal Palace Hotel. I cannot rate the hotel and staff highly enough.
When we arrived, pretty tired as we’d been up since 3am, and were first shown our room we were disappointed that the room was quite small and It didn’t have a lake view which we’d asked for!
The Director, Joseph, was so good with us and said he would upgrade us but he wasn’t able to do that for 2 days as the hotel was full.
After 2 days, we had settled into our room and decided not to move.
The rooftop pool was so beautiful.and to swim in the warm water with the mountains as the backdrop was wonderful. Every morning we helped ourselves to the most amazing breakfast. Matthias the chef was also there to cook all forms of hot breakfast, including crepes. The service was excellent by staff who were very respectful, fun and friendly. I wish I could remember the name of the waiter who mainly served us. He was brilliant as was Zana. They were also there in the dining room in the evening, where they served a 4’course dinner that would have won master chef every evening!
Massimo was the excellent head waiter.
One evening we had a pianist playing the grand piano as we enjoyed our dinner.
After dinner there was music on the roof top with a couple of brilliant guitarists and singers. We were served drinks by another delightful young man whose name I sadly can’t remember.
At reception, nothing was too much trouble for Eleanora. She was always there with a smile.
Lastly Rashid helped us with our lugguage and who drove us most days in the shuttle bus into Riva where we caught the ferry to various towns by the lake. Rashid was always smiling and helpful.
The cleanliness in our room and generally in the whole hotel was very good indeed.
This was one of the best holidays I have ever had. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly and can’t wait to go back.

We were lucky enough to eat breakfast most days on the roof top terrace which has breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
From reception it's maybe five mins to Lakeside park which is across one small road ...plenty of proper pedestrian crossings every hundred metres or so.
Hotel staff could not do enough for us.

The 5 stars are deserved for the friendliness, kindness, and hospitality (the reception staff were a bit cold, but the restaurant staff were much more welcoming and accommodating).
Parking: Easy access to both the outdoor and underground garages, included in the price.
Restaurant: Wonderful and understanding staff, they have options for celiacs and lactose intolerant guests; for me, this is more important than anything else. Their adaptability is top notch. Everything was very clean and organized, though perhaps a bit too fast between courses.
The buffet was extensive to please every taste, and drinks were served at the table.
Rooms: The standard rooms were extremely clean, with towels, bathrobes, slippers, and a welcome bath kit. Safe, minibar, scales, television, throw blanket, pillows, and an extra bedspread. The only downside was some holes in the curtains and one in the sheet. The double bed was made up of two singles, with the usual hole in the middle.
Amenities: There's a free golf club deal, a fast double elevator, a swimming pool with a solarium on the top (sixth) floor, and a lounge bar in the lobby.
Price is reasonable for the service (half board standard €155 for two).

Those looking for peace and quiet and a good night's sleep might not be satisfied there.
The Sky Lounge and the rooftop pool offer a beautiful view of Riva del Garda. Breakfast is served there in the morning, and live music plays there in the evening. We stayed there for a week. Room on the 5th floor. Breakfast is set up promptly at 6:10 a.m. This means that the rattling of the transport trucks across the floor and the setup ruins the night's rest. From 11 p.m. onward, dismantling and dismantling begin, and the noise is back.
In the morning, a dip in the pool? If you like being watched by the breakfast guests, that's fine. Otherwise, it's probably better to go after 11 a.m.
Peace and quiet by the pool to relax after a hike? Not really. Either the ice machine is constantly whirring or the music is too loud.
I would have also liked some service at the pool. Just clear away the empty glasses and ask if you'd like anything else. But that wasn't available.
Instead, the bed is turned down in the evening and lights are turned on throughout the room when you're not there. In our opinion, this is unnecessary electricity consumption.
We were given dinner at the reception. The uncomfortable atmosphere, reminiscent of a waiting room, wasn't pleasant. The food was OK but nothing exceptional. We didn't eat there again because every other restaurant was more comfortable.
The rooms are OK and very clean. Our extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. That's probably why there was a slightly musty smell, which they then tried to cover up with too much air freshener after cleaning.
The staff were always friendly, though. There was nothing to complain about.

A very nice hotel. Within walking distance of the beach and the old town.
We had a Prestige room with a large balcony. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the mountains and a partial view of Lake Garda.
The room was spacious with a minibar, TV, sofa, table, and designer chairs. The double bed was a good size.
The wardrobe was very large. The room had air conditioning and a very nice bathroom with a bidet and an extra-large shower.
The room service was also excellent.
There was a beach bag for the pool area in the room, as well as extra-large bath towels and flip-flops!
There was also a cozy bathrobe and fluffy slippers.
After a friendly welcome, a small bottle of Prosecco and fresh fruit were brought to our room. We were also invited to the hotel's restaurant for a four-course meal that evening, including all drinks.
The food was outstanding!
Breakfast was served on the pool deck. The selection was excellent. The service was outstanding!
The pool deck was fantastic. There were great sun loungers with parasols and storage space. Drinks could be ordered at the pool bar and were then brought to our loungers.
In the evenings, there was often live music on the pool deck or down at the bar (weather permitting).
The hotel also has parking spaces and a garage.
Overall, a fantastic hotel.

Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The food here is incredibly good, and above all, regional and fresh. The waiters were very friendly, quick, and attentive. There was a four-course menu every evening, and even as a vegetarian, I was given a special menu to choose from, so I definitely didn't miss out.
The reception was also very friendly and accommodated all my requests.
One of the highlights was, of course, the rooftop with its beautiful view and pool. It's a wonderful place to relax. Breakfast is always served on the rooftop in the morning, with a good selection, both hot and cold. In the evenings, there was live music on the roof every day, with really good musicians and delicious cocktails.
The hotel has a very good location; you can get to the lake very quickly, and the old town is not far away. There are also shopping opportunities very close by.
I can absolutely recommend the hotel to everyone; we stayed there for eight nights and enjoyed every minute.

If you are tired of everyday work and routine, Hotel Kristal is what you are looking for.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for exactly a week and were impressed by the high level of service, especially polite and warm staff, wonderful, super chef's food and of course a wide selection of wines. The rooms are super, king size bed, very comfortable room with a terrace, 100% cleanliness. (More than once a day we are asked if anything is missing).
On the sixth floor is the Sky Pool bar, where in the mornings we could enjoy a large selection of breakfasts (I suggest trying the fried bacon with scrambled eggs), and where there are also homemade jams, chef's baked, fragrant brioches (croissant) and always smiling staff. Those who like to relax (my husband and I are like that), can simply enjoy the sun and the beautiful panorama, just swimming in the pool. After dinner, there was live music on the terrace by the pool. One evening it was raining, so we spent the time in the hotel lobby sipping dry martinis and listening to good old Italian songs. The hotel owner, Giuseppe Tonnelli, is a rare professional. He is always ready to answer all questions, help, and advise. If there were ten stars, I would give it eleven. Until next time!

We stayed here for three nights. We actually only booked it for the rooftop pool and rooftop bar, and we weren't disappointed! The view is amazing! We also enjoyed breakfast up there in the morning. We stayed there often and for long periods. The room was okay. What we found annoying was that the shower floor moved when we walked, making loud noises with every movement. Even when the neighbors were showering, we could hear it. Otherwise, there's not much to complain about. It's a quick walk to Lake Garda and the old town.

We're currently staying at this wonderful hotel during the coronavirus pandemic, where the hardworking staff greets you with a smile in the morning. They do everything they can to ensure you have a fantastic holiday. The sunshine is also doing its part ;)

This is the second time we've stayed at the Kristal Palace as a family, and it's always just as wonderful.

We booked our honeymoon spontaneously because our other flight was canceled due to the COVID situation.
The booking process was quick and seamless. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and multilingual. The rooms were cleaned several times a day. We just spent 4 days at the Hotel Kristal Palace and I have to say, we had a fantastic time there. The hotel employees were all extremely friendly, and regardless of what we needed, made us feel welcome from the very first moment; everyone was very focused on the details and made your stay special. Furthermore the roof top with the pool and the bar was fantastic offering a beautiful view. Breakfast offered a large variety of different food and beverages. Lovely hotel, the staff are absolutely fantastic, very good atmosphere, spotlessly clean, breakfast on the roof is a must, great local sightseeing tips to be had from the chef as he makes your crepes and omelettes!
The shuttle bus was delayed one morning so one of the staff dropped us to the ferry in his own car. I think that the manager Mr Tonelli has at least one identical twin because he is everywhere in the hotel helping out the staff and making sure everything runs like clockwork!

A very nice hotel on Lake Garda. The location is fantastic, quiet yet right in the center! Breakfast is okay, but better than in most 4-star hotels on Lake Garda. It's nice that you can have breakfast both in the restaurant and on the roof terrace! The rooftop pool is fabulous, and 99% of the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only thing that detracts from this hotel is the slightly firm mattresses, but that's a matter of opinion!

An excellent hotel with comfortable rooms, almost all with balconies, located 10 minutes from the lake in a quiet area. The food is excellent, and there's a terrace bar and restaurant and a fitness center. The only drawback is the prices at the bar and for extras (wines), which I found to be quite high. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Wi-Fi is available and of excellent quality. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in the rooms.

We thank Mr. Tonelli, owner of the Hotel Kristal Palacee, for allowing us to spend a wonderful New Year's Eve in his stunning property, as pictured. We also thank the entire staff for their kindness and consideration, especially the chef and his staff, including the dining room staff. I also want to point out that the dishes prepared by the chef were very well received and appreciated for their refinement and deliciousness. I recommend the Hotel Kristal Palace to anyone looking for an elegant and welcoming place.

IN A 'NUTSHELL' THIS HOTEL IS 'SUPERB!'.
I'm hard to please so after 3 glorious weeks staying here my only complaint was that there was nothing to complain about!
The genuinely friendly (no false smiles here) Management & Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome & comfortable throughout our stay.
In short:
Rooms: Spotless - good size - comfortable beds - quality furnishings.
Food: 1st class (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) - Good choice.
Rooftop Pool & bar: Stunning panoramic views over Lake Garda & surrounding mountains - Spotless (as is everything in this hotel) - bar well stocked with excellent professional service - Nightly entertainment (weather permitting) - Nice place to enjoy a good choice breakfast.
Grounds: Very well maintained.
Service (From high Management to all the staff): 2nd to none!
Location/Situation: 20 min walk or 30 min stroll to Riva del Garda centre (Free shuttle available) - Regular local transport to all Lake Garda towns & beyond - Beach is a pleasant 5 min stroll.
Closing comment: 'This beautiful Hotel will not disappoint you!'

We stayed there in June of this year. The hotel is located a little outside the center, but everything is within easy walking distance. The best way is to walk along Lake Garda to the harbor area – it's really beautiful! :)
The hotel itself is very modern. The rooms are great, clean, and spacious. The restaurant is also modern, and the food is prepared in an international style. A breakfast buffet is available in the restaurant or on the rooftop terrace. It's a bit smaller there due to space limitations, but like downstairs, there's something for everyone. Specialty coffees are included! Great selection!
The service is first-class, both in the restaurant and in the SKY POOL BAR. They offer excellent drink recommendations and have a fantastic bartender.
The rooftop terrace is phenomenal! A breathtaking panoramic view of Riva and Lake Garda! Plenty of seating and enough sun loungers! The Sky Pool is large enough for a refreshing dip and swimming from side to side. It also has a massage jet and whirlpool function.
We can only thank Mr. Tonelli, his family, and his staff for a truly wonderful vacation. This hotel is highly recommended. We will definitely be back. But next time, there will be three of us :)

The room, although basic, was large, clean and was excellent. The walk-in shower was superb. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. I particularly liked the barman, Michelangelo. The food was almost of Michelin star standard and service was excellent. The rooftop pool was beautiful and had it's own bar close by. Overall I could not fault this hotel and would gladly return.
