Wonderful stay for a family vacation!
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, but still in a quiet and peaceful area. The rooms are spacious and have lovely balconies. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Amazing views of the mountains, the lake, and the old town. The pool on site made our stay even better!

Highly recommended. Great service, an extremely good breakfast, and very attentive service. A father and his daughters were here for their birthdays, and the staff warmly welcomed them with a happy birthday at breakfast. We'll definitely be back. Very close to the old town, and the bar is open until late at night.

My partner and I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Ideal. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We would especially like to highlight the staff – incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times. Everything went smoothly, so we felt at home from the very beginning. Highly recommended!

Good location, clean rooms, great breakfast and the staff members are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little bit dated, however everything works and its clean. Conveniently close to the main supermarket and short walking distance to Malcesine center. It has a large pool and very nice gardens around the property with plenty of fruit trees. It has its own parking for clients. 5 minute walk to the chair lift.

To round off our vacation, we spontaneously spent two nights at the Ideal. The beautiful pool, nestled in a stunning garden, invites you to relax and provides a wonderful backdrop for some restful hours.
The rooms are comfortably furnished and offer a wonderful view of the lake – simply perfect for ending the day in a relaxed manner.
We would especially like to highlight the friendly and attentive team, who were always there with a smile. A very special thank you goes to Elisa, whose warmth and professionalism made our stay special.
We will definitely be back – a place to feel good and enjoy!

Super nice location in relation to the city, we stayed at the back with a view of the hills. Super nice staff. The rooms are cleaned every day, we didn't expect that when we only stayed 2 nights. Super nice and delicious breakfast. We could definitely come back again.

A well-maintained hotel in a strategic and convenient location for reaching the historic center of
Malcesine on foot. It has a swimming pool and a large garden with parking. The rooms are spacious and clean. The soundproofing in the rooms needs improvement (the hotel is located on a very busy road). The only flaw was the breakfast, which I completely rejected. Although it's a buffet, I consider it to be a discount store.

Quite ideal as the name says. Very very clean. Daily cleaning is the best i have seen. They literally restart your room back to day 0 every day. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Truthfully up to Italian gastronomy standards. Staff very extremely helpful and friendly. Lobby service and bar aswell were good and reasonably priced. The only downside that could be improved was wifi connection in the rooms. Although very fast and strong in the lobby, i simply had no wifi connection in the room. All in all, i would definitely go back if I'm in that area.

My wife and I spent a wonderful vacation at this pleasant hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. It has a wonderful garden with a swimming pool, abundant in greenery, flowers, and exotic plants. Parking is available amidst the trees. We recommend it.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were able to get a room at short notice, even with a lake view. We received a very friendly welcome at reception, with excellent service and a wonderful, well-maintained, and very clean facility. The hotel is very centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from the supermarket. The pool and breakfast were also great.
We would gladly return anytime.

A room facing the garden is best. The street side is unbearably noisy and reeks of exhaust fumes. Luckily, we were able to change rooms after two nights.
The balconies are connected, so there's no privacy.
The breakfast is excellent, and requests for fresh vegetables (e.g., tomatoes, peppers) were accommodated. The scrambled eggs are so delicious! In the garden, you can't hear the noisy street at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice, clean hotel! Very friendly staff! Excellent location. The main road is a bit intrusive, but that doesn't detract from the hotel's peaceful garden. It has a pool, plenty of loungers, a ping-pong table, a foosball table, a refrigerator and freezer, and a few tables for self-catering! The breakfast is small, but plentiful and has a good selection! They always refill the table immediately when something runs out. We are completely satisfied!

We had a wonderful stay in July this year (2023). The location is brilliant. The room was lovely looking out with a balcony. Everything was very clean and fresh. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Ellena went out her way to accommodate us and make our stay the best. It was great to have a pool to dip into and the view 365 degree around it was superb. A wonderful experience. We loved the retro vibe of the place and it’s unique character.

Very satisfied. Small pool behind the hotel. Hotel bar. Really extensive breakfast. Very clean, including at the pool and in the beautiful green areas. Parking available. Overall, good value for money. Small room, bathroom with shower. Small balcony with a lake view. Ideal location, 5 minutes to the old town, 10 minutes to the cable car. Air conditioning in the room. The main road is directly in front of the hotel, but it's inaudible in the room with the window closed.

The only drawback is the main road right in front of the hotel; our room faced the front.

Fresh and Wonderful breakfast every morning from 8am-10am
We are so lucky with the room with Lake Garda view in our balcony. Very closed to walking street of Malcesine(2mn walk)
Supermarket,Wine Shop and many restaurants nearby.Very safe locations.
Large parking area.The pool has the best view ever. Highly recommend to everyone that plan to visit Malcesine.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel liegt absolut zentral, in wenigen Minuten ist man direkt in der Stadt.
Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich. Es gab Obstsalat, Rührei, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Müsli, Pancake bis hin zu glutenfrei essen. Das absolute Highlight für unsere Kinder war eine Nutella ,,maschine".

Great hotel! The staff is very friendly!
The location is great; you can reach the center in 5 minutes on foot.
The pool is fantastic; it's a great place to relax. Cold drinks are available at the bar, or you can put something in the public fridge below the pool.
Our room was clean, and the air conditioning worked great.
The breakfast is plentiful (panchetta with scrambled eggs was my favorite).
We were even able to extend our stay spontaneously during peak season; many thanks to the nice lady at the reception!
We'd love to come back!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property from August 9th to 13th and couldn't be happier with our experience.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms were clean (we stayed in the four-room apartment). A generous breakfast was included, and the location was excellent, with a truly fabulous garden and pool.
Close to the center of Malcesine and a strategic point for reaching the lake and the cable car for a trip up Monte Baldo.
Highly recommended. I will definitely be back soon. A 10 out of 10.

- Convenient if you're doing a SIV, as the training and video analysis take place in the garden and on the hotel premises.
- Beautiful pool surrounded by banana plants, fig trees, and kiwis.
- Beautiful, well-maintained garden.
- Rooms are thin and noisy. Conversations and TVs in neighboring rooms can be heard.
- Average breakfast, too unhealthy for my taste. Mainly sweet and fatty options. Besides rolls, jam, and fruit, there are no vegan options.
- I needed earplugs to sleep because the windows let in too much street noise.
- Wi-Fi is often unavailable.
- Overall, good value for money.

Ein familiäres kleines Hotel in Zentrums Nähe mit einem sehr gutem Frühstück und großen Garten mit einem riesigen Pool. Die Zimmer und auch alles andere ist äußerst sauber und gepflegt . Parkplätze sind um das Haus reichlich vorhanden. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist ein großer einkaufsladen zu finden und in weniger als 5 Minuten ist man am See und in 10 Minuten in der Altstadt. Der Blick unseres Zimmers war klasse . Berge und der See waren zu sehen. Der Balkon war groß und es gibt Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Die Preise für Getränke im Hotel sind Spitze. Die Zimmer sind ohne teppichboden das ist sehr gut
