The Hotel Continental is located in Nago, a village of Torbole, on the northern shore of Lake Garda. The hotel is located in a quiet location, surrounded by a wonderful landscape. The view of the idyllic lake and the impressive mountains are a really romantic experience and our Mediterranean garden with heated pool (from mid-May to mid-September) offers a green relax oasis.

Our hotel has elegantly furnished rooms with balconies with panoramic views over the vineyards of the plateau of Nago. Be it single or families – each kind of guests is offered his preferred room type. All rooms are non-smoking and offer free WLAN, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini bar, safe and wooden floors. In our Restaurant “La Mar” we will daily pamper you with delicious specialities, seasonal products and local delicacies. At lunchtime, a "Light Lunch" selection is available. Service available from mid-May to mid-September. In the evening, you can enjoy a 4-course menu of your choice and fresh salads. The bar on the terrace offers live music in the evening.
Active & relaxing holidays
The dreamlike surroundings of our hotel are perfect for bike tours and hikes. Mountain bikers and motorcyclists are offered a bike depot in the garage, a repair corner, washing machine and much more. For our guests, we offer free activities such as yoga or hikes or water gymnastics. The centre of Torbole and the beaches are at 2 km from our Hotel Continental. From Monday to Saturday, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, our shuttle bus takes you there to go shopping or to relax at the beach. After these activities, you can relax in our wellness area with indoor and outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness room and sauna.

🔆I'll start by saying I stayed in a standard room, but I think the hotel falls into the 3-star category and is more suitable for foreigners than Italians.
The rooms need updating, the sheets are stringy, the bed frames are loose (perhaps a few joints need tightening only in mine), the bathroom is too narrow (the door can't even open because it hits the sink, and the bidet is impossible to use, wedged in a corner between the toilet and the sink). The pool is lukewarm, the hot tub cold, the relaxation area very cold, as is the lobby (the reception staff wore jackets over their uniforms). To use the pool, you have to go down to the lobby in a bathrobe and slippers, which, given the cold and the other guests, isn't ideal. The bathrobes are "standard," meaning they're S/M in size, which doesn't fit everyone, but the towels are large enough and make up for it. I appreciated the liter bottle of water offered on the first day, but then I discovered that no drinks were included in the price at dinner (not even water). Breakfast is an international buffet, hot and cold, sweet and savory, with juices and coffee, always the same variety but good quality. Dinner is a cold buffet, followed by a choice of first course, second course, and dessert. Be careful when selecting food: some dishes are truly delicious, worthy of a restaurant, while others are made with leftovers from previous meals, which makes sense, but should be made less obvious (e.g., a Caprese salad with pizza cheese passed off as mozzarella isn't the best in Italy, but I assumed it was leftovers from the Mozzarella in Carrozza).
The location isn't bad; Torbole and Riva del Garda can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic). The bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the hotel. On one side, the hotel is right under the mountainside, while on the other, it overlooks neighboring apartment buildings, so there's no panoramic view.
Some of the staff are very kind and sociable, while others are not suited to hospitality work, whether in the dining room or reception areas.
