Well-maintained hotel room. Location is crucial. Some people like it, others don't. We had a room that didn't face the sea, which we deliberately chose because of the street noise. Unfortunately, the room is above the kitchen and the air conditioning unit. With the window open, you can hear it quite clearly. The breakfast is okay. There's a variety and highlights like juices you can make yourself. The pasta is unfortunately very dry. We were there with a dog, and it's not allowed in the dining area. Otherwise, it's not a problem anywhere.

We booked accommodation on booking.com. We didn't get the room we paid for and booked. At the reception they said it was only reserved for a white hunter photo.
Despite this we stayed. The food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly!

We spent a week at the Hotel Orione and felt completely at home. The friendliness of all the staff is second to none. The food was also very good, from breakfast to the varied dinner menu. There was always a very good dish for us vegetarians, too. The rooms are small, but everything is very well-maintained and clean. Of course, the street in front of the hotel is noisy, but you know that when you book. Thank you for the covered parking space, which kept our classic car completely safe during the rain. We highly recommend the Hotel Orione, and it will definitely remain our first choice for our trips to Lake Garda.

After some initial difficulties with the booked room, there's little to complain about. Given the hotel's location, you should definitely book a room with a lake view. The view is phenomenal... The food is very tasty, but could be more regional in my opinion. The breakfast buffet is small but perfectly adequate; additional requests can be made and will be fulfilled...

The lake view (optional) is fantastic. Each room has a terrace. Just across the two-lane road is Lake Garda. The hotel has its own sunbeds and a marina, perfect for swimming or relaxing. The view and location speak for themselves.
Breakfast and meals overlooking the lake are wonderful. You can grind your own fruit and vegetables for breakfast.
The elevators are spacious, and the air conditioning works well. There's ample parking. The staff are very friendly.
The fridge is stocked with premium drinks, so you can't store personal items. A sensor activates when you remove items from the fridge. There's no coffee pot.
The beds are a bit worn and lack comfort.
They ask for a tip at checkout, which is a bit unusual in Italy.

A wonderful, small, family-run hotel. The hotel is located directly on the lake, has its own private jetty with sun loungers, and a lovely garden with a whirlpool. The staff is very friendly and caters to all your needs. In the evening, it's wonderful to sit on the terrace with a view of the lake. Pure relaxation! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The staff was really welcoming and helpful, clients look happy to being here.
Despite the crowds nearby in other location, the hotel is situated in a very calm area with a direct access to the lake.

A very nice, small hotel – we've been there for the second year already. Dog-friendly and uncomplicated! We'd be happy to return. Dinner (3 courses plus salad) was delicious and varied. Breakfast also offered something for everyone – with a fantastic view of the lake. We'd love to come back.

The hotel is a bit dated - it seems renovations have begun. The website has been updated, new photos have been taken, and some of the rooms have been renovated. At least the bathrooms are new. Otherwise, the rooms are a bit dated and, unfortunately, a bit noisy, as the road is right next to the hotel. There's still a lot to renovate, but a start has been made.
The location is good between Torri and Malcesine - several restaurants are within walking distance.
The staff is friendly, especially the welcome at reception was warm.
The breakfast is unfortunately less good and lacks variety. Only the coffee is good, as is usual everywhere in Italy. The tables are strictly cleared away at 10 a.m.
All in all, an average hotel; for the time of year, the price-performance ratio for our stay wasn't right.

I enjoyed my stay at the Orione hotel.
The room was clean and all the faculties well maintained. The biggest highlight was my balcony and breathtaking view over the beautiful lake Garda - so relaxing being able to watch the sunset from there. The private pier was also nice as made it easy to access the lake.
Special acknowledgment goes to Jacqueline - you are a little angel Jacqueline and I really appreciate your help on the night when I arrived (especially the hot meal that I did not expect at all with my late arrival). Thank you for all your help and kindness. You’re a star and this hotel is very lucky to have you!!

This is the 15th consecutive time we've spent our vacation at the Hotel Orione, and it always felt like coming home.
We would especially like to thank the junior manager, Jasmin, who, with her kind and charming manner, makes this place a feel-good oasis.

On our second visit to the hotel, we unfortunately didn't book a balcony—our own fault. The service, especially from our waiter, was excellent as always.
Only the quality of the food has declined somewhat compared to two years ago.
The two young interns also certainly made an effort.
The hotel is always worth recommending.

After a couple of busy days in nearby Verona, there could be no better place for a peaceful rest away from the hustle and bustle. Hotel Orione and the staff are both cosy and welcoming. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast choice was sufficient to start the day. With a room overlooking the stunningly beautiful Lake Garda, we couldn't really have hoped for anything more. The Hotel Orione is a cozy, small, and very attractive hotel. Combining some elements typical of a period building with modern design, it has a very appealing visual appeal. There's also a terrace with a lake view and a bathing jetty, as well as loungers and parasols.
Overall, we were completely satisfied. Our room was very spacious and always super clean. The bathroom was recently modernized and looks really great! We booked breakfast with the option. The buffet offers a wide selection, and there's certainly something for everyone. We even had the evening menu once, which was also very delicious!
We would have a few minor criticisms:
The room furnishings are not 100%
contemporary.
The breakfast buffet was sometimes not replenished, or rather, was quite slow.
In general, we felt that the staff was trying hard, but one or two more people
on duty wouldn't hurt.
The last thing we noticed were the parasols. It would be great if each pair of loungers had an umbrella. Some of them were broken.
All in all, we were very satisfied and would choose the Hotel Orione again!

I stumbled upon this place by chance at the last minute, and frankly, it was an excellent find.
First of all, the location is exceptional if you're looking for relaxation. The hotel isn't in the city center, but you're close to everything. Plus, there's a bus stop if you don't want to drive.
The rooms are very clean and have everything you need: bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, a minibar that counts down your drinks as soon as you open the fridge and move around. A bottle of wine is a must.
Then the staff is lovely, very helpful, whether at reception or in the waiting room.
The food is very good, with quantity, quality, and variety. Anyone who doesn't find what they're looking for is really very picky.
So, it's a small place (a small hotel with 30 rooms) that I recommend.

The hotel is small, beautiful, and located in a quieter area. The direct access to the beach and the view of the stunning landscape also lend the hotel a certain charm.
The town center, with shops, the harbor, and the bus station, is within walking distance.
The private pier is quiet and very beautiful.
The staff is very friendly and always available. They promptly respond to all requests and leave no wishes unfulfilled.
They are always available to answer any questions.
The food was also very tasty and varied.
I would be happy to visit this hotel again.

A lovely little hotel right on the lake. Beautiful garden and private jetty. The rooms aren't large, but they're adequate and renovated. Very nice new bathroom. Balcony with lake view. Everything was spotlessly clean and without any problems. The young woman at reception was very friendly and helpful, and the gentleman in the restaurant was always friendly and smiling. Sometimes a bit endearingly scatterbrained. Everyone was obviously still relatively new, and a bit of organization would have been welcome at times. The food was a bit basic for the first few days, especially the vegetarian options. After several guests complained, this was improved. Breakfast wasn't very varied (e.g., always the same cheese), but there was a good selection of bread and rolls. The atmosphere in the small villa is very pleasant, and you can feel comfortable there. It was a shame about the minor issues with the meals.

I spent my first vacation with my boyfriend at the Hotel Orione in 2013, and we both immediately felt very comfortable. It was a great location, a well-kept garden, the hotel's own private jetty on the lake, excellent food, and extremely friendly staff. We enjoyed it so much that we returned in 2016 (and were just as satisfied as the first time). Then the years passed, and in 2013, the time had come: for our 10th anniversary, we decided to stay at the Hotel Orione again, and we were not disappointed! The hotel has undergone extensive renovations in the meantime, and the results are more than impressive. It was particularly surprising to see that we still recognize some of the staff from previous stays. The hotel has a harmonious and extremely pleasant atmosphere. This is radiated by all the staff, who ensure that you feel completely welcome and at ease. One thing we can say with certainty: Hotel Orione is our place of well-being; everything is just right here – we will be back!

Being woken up by the vacuum cleaner at 6:00 a.m. on vacation isn't exactly thrilling. The staff apologized several times, though. The service was very good and very friendly, though sometimes a little confusing. The food was excellent. Everyone was friendly. A large tour group was there for four days, and it was chaotic, as only one person was there to serve the entire meal: drinks, salad buffet, starters, main course, and dessert. Unacceptable, but friendly nonetheless. The owner, Mrs. Maierhofer, called me the next day and apologized. I think that's very good. Thank you.

Lovingly run, newly renovated, small hotel, very friendly. Down pillows and duck feather pillows were promptly replaced at our request, and a room change to a quieter area at the rear was also arranged immediately. A generous breakfast, including vegetables for self-juicing, was provided.
The front area of the hotel offers a fantastic view of Lake Garda, but unfortunately, there's a constantly busy road that you can hear. Plenty of parking, a lovely garden, and a jetty opposite the hotel with loungers. A 15-minute walk along the paved lakeside path leads to the next pleasant town. Beautiful olive groves with sidewalks and views of the lake.

We booked the last room in the high season because of that we got a room with literally no view. But hotel warned us before arriving, and asked if we still want to go with the reservation. Other than view, the room was great. It was big, there was an additional day bed that you can sit or put your things on it. The bathroom was newly renovates. This is not smt that you can find very often in Garda. Employees were very kind and nice during the breakfast and checkout. They even let us to do early check in. The only bad side is whenever you wanna go to the lake, you have to cross the traffic in front of the hotel. I think zebra lines would be great. I can definitely recommend this one who are looking for a place to stay with their dog.

We're returning to the Orione for the 11th time at the end of August and are really looking forward to it.
A small but fine hotel with consistently friendly staff. The breakfast buffet improves every year, and the dinner has always been excellent and leaves nothing to be desired.
The rooms are renovated, comfortable, and always very clean.
The location is ideal for excursions.
We always feel very comfortable, enjoy our time there, and will probably return again in the years to come.

Went to the Hotel Orione for the third time this year, and I have to say it was great again.
However, anyone who compares this house with a 5 star hotel is out of place here.
And yet, everything just fits here. From the staff to the food to the newly renovated rooms, everything is great.
And with this Mediterranean flair you can endure it very well.
If you miss a spa or fitness room here, you have chosen the wrong hotel.
A 15-minute walk to the nearby town of Brenzone sul Garda and you will experience a tranquil harbor town.
An hour by bus and you're in Verona.
It's just a matter of attitude and expectations.
One person sees the glass half full, the other half empty.
Ultimately, everyone has to make up their own minds.
For my part, it wasn't the last time I was here.

We booked through Booking and unfortunately only got a budget room!
The view from the window is of a concrete wall (great view).
The bathroom window is completely closed and covered by a blind.
It can't be opened either.
The room door can only be opened with force...
When asked, it was completely normal, and they were fully booked until the end of August anyway.
Therefore, another room is not possible...
I can't at all confirm other reviews I read before...
Super friendly service, and everything is made possible...
What a shame...
Otherwise, the location and the hotel are fine...
Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is not good under these circumstances!!!!!

However, the description on the website isn't entirely accurate.
There is a sunbathing lawn, but at our time there were only two loungers...one of which was broken...and two umbrellas, both broken.
That was a major drawback, as we were looking forward to relaxing days on the lawn.
The food was mediocre; unfortunately, we missed the Italian cuisine...a real shame!
No salad buffet...we travel a lot, but salad is available in every hotel!...Not here.
The room with a wonderful view of the lake and the bathroom were very clean and nice.
The staff was very friendly...after repeatedly asking at the reception, an employee got us two loungers, which he fetched from the hotel's private beach.
Unfortunately, other guests were apparently also waiting for loungers, and they were taken the next day.
In short, it wasn't quite what we expected! Whether we'll be back is questionable...!?

The hotel is in an excellent location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Crossing the street, you'll find yourself on the lakeshore, where you can relax on the private dock. There's also a garden with deckchairs, a sun lounger, and a small hot tub.
The location is excellent for both walking (there's a beautiful, recently renovated lakeside promenade that takes you to Castelletto in 10 minutes, and paths through the olive groves lead to Campo, an abandoned village) and cycling.
The rooms are very clean, with modern, recently renovated bathrooms.

The location is great. Right on the lake, with its own jetty and sun loungers.

Beautiful, air-conditioned hotel located directly on the lake. You'll always have a lake view while dining. Air conditioning and modern bathrooms are available. There's also an elevator.
Unfortunately, a spa and fitness room are missing to round out the offerings (especially in bad weather). Rooms are good and spacious.

We have been coming to Hotel Orione for many years now. The location is absolutely perfect, directly on the lake, the bathrooms have been newly renovated and modern, the air-condition and wifi works great and the food is always wholesome and delicious. The staff are extremely welcoming and we look forward to coming back year after year.

A good choice for a 3-star hotel. Right on the lake, but with a lakeside road in between. It has its own section of beach with loungers and umbrellas. Rooms are available with lake views, with and without balconies. Balcony preference should be specified, as they are the same category. Breakfast is good with a wide selection. Dinner, which is half-board, is also good and plentiful. A lovely dining terrace. Parking is available on-site and free of charge. The nearest town (Castelletto) is a 10-minute walk along the lakeside path. All in all, excellent.

Der kleine Privatstrand war auch super.

Hotel Orione is simply a dream. We come several times a year and are absolutely thrilled with everything. The hotel has the most beautiful private jetty. Breakfast on the terrace with a perfect view of the lake.

Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen,konnten unser Zimmer allerdings erst ab 14 Uhr beziehen (ist aber so üblich)waren aber schon um 8.30Uhr da,konnten aber gleich Frühstücken und den Tag so sehr gut beginnen.Zimmer war sehr schön,besonders das neue Bad mit Regendusche.

The hotel is very luxurious and perfect for a swim in the lake. Be warned: to get to the lake, you have to cross the main road, where cars pass almost every second.

We stayed for two nights, and although there was a problem with our Expedia booking, our colleague Stephano at reception sorted everything out. Everything worked out perfectly, and we were completely satisfied.
Thanks again to Stephano; he's truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He's available 24/7 to take care of everything! We'd love to come back again.

The Orione is family-run.
The rooms aren't the most modern, but they are well-maintained and clean. There is a parking lot and private access to the lake.
The food is highly recommended.

Well-run cozy family hotel with its own jetty and gravel beach on the east shore of Lake Garda. Castelletto is walking distance along a paved walkway on the lakefront. Good breakfast and evening menu. Mostly German guests. Clean rooms with a/c during the hot months. We have been here several times and never tire if it. Verona is an hour's drive from here. The hotel has its own car park and outdoor jacousie.

The Orione Hotel is a fairly simple yet refined establishment, perfect for those seeking a quiet stay without too many expectations. The friendliness of the only two people you'll find running the hotel, the manager and the bartender, is exceptional. There are no problems with bringing a dog, as there are outdoor tables for breakfast and dinner. It has a garden with loungers and a hot tub.
I find the interior spaces of the hotel and the garden to be very well-kept, meaning there are no traditional plastic chairs. Finally, it also has a private dock on the lake with very comfortable loungers.

Irma war im Service fantastisch. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Der Koch hat uns mit seinem Abendessen immer verwöhnt. Angela hat unsere Zimmer immer prima in Ordnung gehalten. Die Größe des Hotels und die Südtiroler Chefin hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es sind genügend Parkplätze am Hotel vorhanden. Der private Liegesteg am See ist auch von Vorteil sowie der sehr kurze Weg dorthin. Mit dem Fahrrad sind alle Ortschaften gut zu erreichen. Die Frühstücksterasse mit Blick auf den See hat uns morgens wie abends begeistert. Die Neubepflanzung des Eingangsbereichs die während unseres Aufenthalts angelegt wurde, trägt noch mehr zum Wohlfühlen bei.

Nice little hotel, but you'll definitely have to lower your expectations a bit. The rooms are simple, the breakfast and dinner are delicious but with a limited selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. The biggest criticism, however, is the road directly in front of the hotel, which, however, makes up for the great view of the lake.
