We spent a week at the campsite Ende in late August/early September in a mobile home through Eurocamp.
The holiday was wonderful all around: the children's entertainment, pool, playgrounds, restaurants, and surroundings were simply wonderful.
There was only one small negative point for us: the slides and water playground were very rarely open, which our children found very disappointing, as they were one of the reasons we booked this campsite. In nice weather, it would be great to extend the slide opening hours and, above all, to stick to the advertised times!
Otherwise, we were very satisfied with everything.
The view, in particular, is amazing.

I was on vacation with my three-year-old daughter in Italy at the end of September 2025 through HappyCamp. Unfortunately, this stay turned into a very stressful experience.
An on-site employee working on behalf of HappyCamp used the contact details I provided at check-in (my private cell phone number) to repeatedly send me personal and inappropriate messages. Despite a polite but clear refusal, the contact continued. Eventually, he even expressed a desire to "spend a night with me."
I was alone on the site with my young daughter and felt increasingly uncomfortable and observed. The employee drove past our mobile home several times, which further increased my feeling of insecurity. Fearing for our safety, I left three days earlier than planned.
HappyCamp was informed of the entire incident, but responded without understanding or apology, pointing out that the employee was not a direct employee. For me as a mother, this was disappointing and incomprehensible – after all, the operator also bears responsibility for the people they employ to care for their guests.
I'm writing this review to raise awareness among other travelers—especially single women or families with children—to pay close attention to supervision and safety aspects when booking.
My conclusion:
A lovely camping holiday turned into a disturbing experience for me and my daughter. As long as HappyCamp doesn't take responsibility for the behavior of its staff and doesn't put in place protective measures for guests, I unfortunately can't recommend it.
The campsite itself is truly beautiful, but unfortunately, we didn't see much of it because, due to the incidents, we always left the campsite in the morning and didn't return until the evening.

I highly recommend it. We were very pleased; we paid a ridiculous amount for our stay in September, half the price we paid in Poland. The campground is well-maintained, full of oleanders, large agaves, olive trees—everything is well-maintained. The resort has a cascade, swimming pools both upstairs and downstairs, and there are pubs, and you can sit and eat at the restaurant overlooking the lake for a reasonable price. We booked a comfort cabin and it was fine. You don't expect anything fancy at this price. It had everything you need, clean, a parking space, a barbecue, and a terrace shaded in the afternoon. If I wanted a nicer cabin, I would have paid extra instead of ruining the resort's reputation by choosing the cheapest option and expecting luxury. We're already planning to return next year. I recommend it ️

Quiet campsite with no entertainment. Very steep, especially by car, and exciting!!! But the view is fantastic! We booked a comfort mobile home with a lake view through Eurocamp (at the top of the campsite). It's small, but perfect and clean for up to 3 people! The staff at the campsite are very friendly! Regarding the star rating, it's more like a 2- or 3-star campsite than a 4-star one. If you're looking for simplicity and peace, this campsite is perfect!

It was a lovely holiday. The mobile home is a bit small. Wi-Fi and air conditioning cost extra. €6 per day per device for Wi-Fi and €1.30 per hour for air conditioning. We didn't book that. Air conditioning is fine, but paying extra for Wi-Fi? Sorry, that's a no-go. We heard from our neighbors that the Wi-Fi often doesn't work because there are too many people on the network. The restaurant is fine, and the pool was good. The upper water playground wasn't working in September, even though it was still warm. You have to distinguish between providers here. There are several. All in all, it's fine, except for the points mentioned above.

The mobile home is top-notch, clean, and fairly new, and offers excellent value for money. I can't understand the negative reviews. The "reception" is a small HappyCamp tent that's only staffed after 4 p.m. The upstairs facilities are a bit dated, and you should be aware that there's no TV in the mobile home. We're happy; we were concerned about some of the very negative reviews, but we were more than pleasantly surprised.

This site is great for people who enjoy hiking in the mountains. The path to the bathing jetty is a bit difficult, making it unsuitable for people with physical disabilities. I'm used to different amenities from a 4-star campsite.

We spontaneously extended our vacation and looked for accommodations in the immediate vicinity. We chose Camping Eden and made a perfect choice.
Our children enjoyed both pools, which were located at two different locations. The lake was only a few meters away. What was quite tiring was the very steep climb up to the accommodation. But the view was beautiful. The accommodations were very nice and spacious. We had a 6-person bungalow.

What a beautiful campsite! The location is truly magnificent with views and landscape I will remember for a lifetime.
We booked and stayed through Eurocamp. The cabin was perfect base for our 7 night trip. We had a covered decking area so although it rained a couple of nights, we were still able to enjoy drinks and games outside. Was a lot of fun! The only downside was the pillows, or lack of pillow(s). The shower was also either burning hot or stone cold, it would change between the two without being controlled, so was bit of a roll of the dice what shower experience you got. This is not down to the campsite though, I will feed this back to, Eurocamp themselves as I believe they maintain their own accommodations.
The campsite is set on a very steep hill, driving up is a challenge and walking it isn't for the faint hearted. I don't remember being warned prior to arriving or when booking that this was the case. Worth noting if you do need accessibility. One of the pools and bars is located at the top of the campsite and we definitely got out workout every day. The amount of pizza and pasta consumed, the exercise was fine by us!
The shop on site is ok, has the basics but is lacking charm and some more authentic supplies. We did enjoy the morning pastries, the pistachio cream brioche was 10/10!
WiFi is available to purchase, we didn't bother
The pools were basic but big enough for the amount of guests. One day we struggles a bit to get a lounger, but we did arrive late in the day and we did get it sorted so wasn't an issue. Each pool has a slide which we all enjoyed. They do get turned off at times throughout the day (not too sure why). The splash pad wasn't on during our stay, not sure why but our children were a bit older and unphased by this. You must wear hats to swim in the pool, again we weren't aware of this before we arrived, luckily they sell them on site or frustratingly (if you have hats at home) you have to buy them on site.
There was also a tennis court available to hire for additional €, a little football area, playpark available at the top of the campsite by the pool. One night they had a magician, but we missed that. My husband did a yoga class for free one morning which he loved!
There is two bar/food options on site located next to each pool which is great. Special mention to Dominic who was working most days at the pool bar located at the top of the campsite. He was really friendly, kind and gentle nature. Making decaf coffee was never an issue, clearly knew what he was doing with decorating the milk froth etc. He spoke good English and took the time to get to know us which was a really nice touch. The food and drinks on offer were a good range. Wouldn't call it authentic Italian, it definitely was pizza and pasta to cater for tourists, but definitely scratched an itch when we didn't want to cook or travel far. There was a young waiter (can't remember his name) in the main restaurant bar who was so super friendly and funny. We enjoyed having him as our server. The Aperol went down well
They have a rooftop bar which one night had a local singer performing a mix of English and Italian songs. Was really lovely! Unexpected and really enjoyable. All lit up really beautifully.
The lake private access was ideal. Never was too busy, the kids loved jumping off the pier into the water. The water was really calm for floaties. Only warning would be the area is mainly grassed and shady, so if it has rained, your towels will get muddy on the ground. But the views are breathtaking. I don't think we have ever swam somewhere so pretty!
It is also located a 5 minute walk from Portese Harbour. We got the ferry to some other towns around the lake one day which was really convenient. Had dinner in a restaurant there another evening. Was really quaint. There isn't much more within walking distance, so whilst you don't need a car with the ferry service, we were glad to have a car to pop to larger supermarkets and other restaurants etc.
All in all, we loved our holiday. We would recommend and we would return!

We stayed in a mobile home at the campsite for two weeks in August 2025.
The campsite is beautifully situated on a hillside (great view) and has its own lake access and jetty.
The mobile homes are adequately equipped, but not overly so.
There are two pools, each with two slides and one pool. During our time there, this was always sufficient for the number of people.
A small downside: You have to wear swimming caps in the pool (you can buy them cheaply on site), and the slides have breaks.
In the evenings, there's entertainment at the bar, and the restaurant is very good quality.
Air conditioning can be booked as an option, but unfortunately, it can't be refunded afterward; we ended up overpaying because the last few nights weren't as hot.
The children's entertainment was great; Karen is very sweet and manages to accommodate all nationalities.
All in all, a super cozy campsite that I can definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday again!
This time we chose this campsite, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Our mobile home, booked through Vacanselect, was beautifully situated with a stunning view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Moreover, the campsite was ideally located near Portese, the port from which you can catch a boat to charming towns such as Saló, Sirmione, Garda, Desenzano, and Riva del Garda.
The campsite itself is quiet. We did experience loud music a few times until late at night, but this wasn't coming from the campsite itself. The campsite also offers excellent amenities: a restaurant with a beautiful view, a bar, a gelateria, a supermarket with a bakery, and two swimming pools. The pools have slides, but unfortunately, they close for a few hours in the afternoon, which we found somewhat incomprehensible. On the other hand, the direct access to the lake is a real bonus; it's wonderful for swimming and relaxing.
Our cottage was a bit small, but that didn't bother us; you're mainly there to sleep.
Please note that the air conditioning operates on a €1 per hour payment system. This may sound a bit inconvenient, but it's sustainable and makes you more mindful of how you use it. This was clearly stated on the website, so it wasn't a surprise to us. A quick tip: don't withdraw cash at the campsite itself, as you'll pay almost €5 extra per transaction. It's better to use a local bank.
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this campsite to others. We actually didn't want to leave!

We stayed here in July in a Eurocamp mobile home.
The location of the site is great. There's direct access to the lake. Our mobile home was quite high up, so the path was quite difficult at the beginning. However, you have a great view from the terrace.
If you're a little familiar with driving, you won't have any problems here. Mine is lowered, and I had no problems.
The cocktail bar above the restaurant was also great. We often sat there, drank cocktails, listened to live music, and simply looked out at the lake. We couldn't get enough of it.

Our accommodation was a small house, and its amenities left something to be desired. It was seriously lacking in kitchen utensils, especially a microwave. Since there was also no oven, cooking was done exclusively with a frying pan.

A lovely, clean campsite with a fantastic location on the lake. Luckily, we were at the bottom near the exit, otherwise it would have been quite a climb. The restaurant is very good and the staff is very friendly, as is the entire campsite; there are always friendly faces. The campsite has its own area on the lake where it's pleasant and not too crowded. The pier is great for children to jump off, and the water is very clean.
On the other hand, there are downsides: swimming caps are mandatory, which is outdated these days. It's a bonus that they cost €2 at the campsite... bald men do have an advantage, though. The slides at the pool were closed more often than they were open. Air conditioning is paid, and for €1700 for one week, I personally think it should be included. It's also outdated that there's a final check-up, and you have to schedule an appointment for it, but hey, it didn't spoil the fun. All in all, we had a great week!

We originally booked for 5 nights, but because we enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay. This required us to change accommodations once, but we were informed of this beforehand. The accommodations and sanitary facilities were very clean, as was the campsite! The staff was very friendly. There was live music twice a week, which was excellent. A kids' club was available every day. Wearing a cap in the swimming pool was, in my opinion, justified from a hygiene perspective and not a problem, as there's also the lake where you can swim without a cap. The restaurant was good, and the food was tasty. The portion was a bit small for pasta, but it was okay. The staff there were also very friendly. The reception staff were very kind and always helpful. The location isn't as crowded as the rest of the area around the lake. We'll be back! Thank you so much!

Quite a nice campsite with a great location and view. One of the campsites where a swimming cap is still required, but we took it easy as there was less hair in the pool.
The site is very hilly with just over 90 steps from bottom to top.
Air conditioning is paid for according to consumption - but I think you could get 10 euros for free now that it has been introduced.
The pool areas were good and did not seem overcrowded. So all in all a pretty good site.

A beautiful family campsite. We rented a spacious, covered camper pitch with a sink on site. Close to restrooms, playgrounds, etc., the site is extremely quiet. As soon as you leave the campsite, there's a private lake area, conveniently located, with a jetty for diving, shaded by trees. Beautiful... the only flaw (in my opinion) is that the restaurant prices are a bit high, but the pizza is delicious and worth it.

The campsite was quite decent. Everything was on site. Clean, tidy. There was a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. It was close to the lake, so we spent time there. The service was nice and patient if you don't speak English well. You can also communicate in German. A shop on site, obviously the prices are higher than in e.g. Aldi, but well-stocked. A restaurant on site, you can take away all food, drinks, drinks. The food is tasty and the prices are affordable. The pizza was great, we really liked it. Tip: a fee for setting the table is added per person. This is not a tip. This is normal practice in Italy, but you can be very surprised when more people eat dinner. The location is great. Close to Gardalandia. We recommend buying tickets at the campsite at the reception, it's very worthwhile. The town center is close, 30 minutes walk. The port is also close, where you can buy boat trips. There are other restaurants nearby. Apartment Chalet Marty: air conditioning paid €1 per hour, which we consider expensive. You have to read the equipment, we didn't do it carefully and it turned out that we didn't have a kettle or a coffee machine. ;) The kitchen was very well equipped, there was even a can opener. The bathroom was large, but there were very few cabinets in it, one small chest of drawers with two drawers, there was no soap. One hook to hang towels. The sockets were located in the wrong places for me. All on the ground, no socket by the counter. In the bedroom, the socket was right by the entrance, if you charge your phone, leave the phone on the bed, you can trip over the cable. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, there were 4 pillows and 2 blankets. We had our own bedding. The cabinets above the bed didn't really suit me. There were few cabinets at all. Two narrow cabinets to hang something, one didn't even have a rail. In general, this is not a house for 3 people. There is too little space, too few cabinets. Parking by the house is fine. We had a table, we could eat outside. One sunbed. There was also a clothes dryer available (plastic, dirty). Despite these shortcomings, we recommend this campsite. We will definitely come back :)

We spent five nights at the campsite, we booked the mobile home through Vacanceselect/Eurocamp.
The house was as we expected, maybe a little cramped, but it was enough for the four of us. Air conditioning is an extra cost but necessary because the house was very hot.
The fridge and air conditioning did not work when we arrived, but one of the Eurocamp colleagues quickly fixed it. We can say that the staff is very nice and helpful.
Unfortunately, there are not enough sockets in the house, so if we wanted to use the microwave we had to unplug the fridge, the same with the coffee maker. The house could do with a little renovation, for example, the wallpaper was torn off in one of the rooms, the cornice was hanging from the wall in the living room.
The view is beautiful, we were at the top of the campsite. The climb up is not easy either by car or on foot, although we expected this when booking, but the roads were steeper than we expected. Nevertheless, we were glad that our house was in the upper part, the accommodations were close to each other below, and parking was not easy in the narrow spaces.
The beach is quite small for such a large campsite. The pools are good and clean, the slides are great, but they are open on a limited basis.
The restaurant is great, but a little more expensive than elsewhere and less delicious.

Fantastic spot on Lake Garda. Be aware of the elevation changes. We booked a mobile home through Vanceselect/Eurocamp. Fantastic site with a view of the lake. It's a small mobile home for three adults, but that's not the campsite's fault.
It's a bit away from the main attractions, but that's fine; it's peaceful!

We spent a wonderful family vacation there. The staff was competent, and the cottage was exactly what we paid for. The kids had a blast at the pool and playground. I also recommend the food and the staff at the campsite restaurant, with whom we communicated easily in English. A great place to relax – I recommend it ️️️

We had a lovely stay at Camping Eden on Lake Garda. The view from our pitch was truly breathtaking – we've rarely experienced such a beautiful setting. However, the terrain is quite steep, so you should be a confident driver. This could be a bit challenging for families with small children or wheelchair users. The family cottages located further down are better off, but they don't have a view
The beach is rather stony and small, so not ideal. However, you can rent practically everything you need at the harbor in Portese, which is very helpful. Air conditioning in the mobile home costs extra, as does Wi-Fi, for which Eden doesn't guarantee a stable connection.
The on-site restaurant is very nice and offers good value for money. The Eden Suite was smaller than it appeared in the pictures, but still comfortable. The pool was quite crowded at times.
One minor point of criticism: there was mold in the shower, which wasn't aesthetically pleasing and definitely needs to be addressed.
You have to bring your own toilet paper or buy it separately. There's just enough cutlery and plates, but a saucepan is missing. There was a clothes drying rack, which was very convenient. The supermarket on the premises is a bit more expensive than elsewhere.
Overall, a lovely holiday spot with a few minor drawbacks to keep in mind. ️

This was our third time here.
It was wonderful again! The campsite is quiet and very well-maintained! Thanks to its terraced location, you have a fantastic view of Lake Garda.
The pool area is always clean, and the lifeguards keep a watchful eye on everything!
Our private section on the lake shore is perfect! A sunbathing lawn and a jetty with a ladder. The kids had a blast jumping in!
This time we booked a mobile home through Eurocamp. But I can also recommend the pitches. Simple, but with everything you need!
The location is by the port of Portese.
Boat trips are available from there.
Otherwise, there's not much going on in the area. So it's more suitable for a quieter family holiday.
For everyday needs, however, all the shops in the neighboring towns are easily accessible by car.

Location:
Great view. The hillside location didn't bother us; we knew that beforehand.
Accommodation:
We rented a bungalow right next to the campsite. The accommodation was perfectly fine. However, air conditioning and Wi-Fi cost extra, which is still a big deal these days.
Beach:
The jetty is great, and the water is clean.
The sunbathing area offers shade. However, the beach is far too small for the campsite and therefore overcrowded.
Pool:
First impression: Excellent. Two pool areas spread out the crowds, and there are plenty of sun loungers available. However, the slides, which are heavily advertised, weren't working half the time, and it wasn't clear when they were switched on and off. The water playground was also only working once during the time we spent at the pool.
That's unacceptable and a significant drawback!
Playground:
Everything is very outdated; the ping-pong tables are broken and unusable.
The football pitch, which is used a lot, is very small, while the tennis court, which is hardly used (because it's a paid court), is large.
Pizzeria:
The food is good. The price-performance ratio is right.
Staff:
Very friendly, which improves the rating.
All in all, we enjoyed our holiday. The surroundings and location are beautiful. We will return to the region, but unfortunately not to this campsite again.

The view is beautiful, and that's the biggest plus. There's also a swimming pool and a small slide for children, and the restaurant serves delicious meals at reasonable prices. The lake access is accessible via a pier at the end, making it easy to jump into the water or fish in the evening. There's also a place to spread a blanket or towel on the grass. On the downside, the cabins aren't very clean. I saw the staff clean a cabin in 15 minutes, and the dirty water from the bucket ended up on the terrace. Parking spaces at the cabins are small, so it's a problem with larger cars. The staff are very friendly, both in the restaurant and at the front desk, and the lifeguard at the pool is a very nice guy. Improve the cleanliness of the cabins, and it will be great.

A great place! The cottages aren't too close together, the grounds are huge, and there are two swimming pools, a tennis court, a sports field, playgrounds, a mini market, and a restaurant. The kids were thrilled because they had something to do after returning from their trips around Lake Garda. Not all the cottages had great views, but the staff were friendly, even speaking Polish. The cottages are well-equipped. I recommend bringing dish soap and toilet paper.

The campground's Wi-Fi is paid. The price for Wi-Fi packages is designed to prevent anyone from using it. The pool slide is open for one hour during the day. The campground shop is a bit lacking in basic supplies. The worst thing was the lack of bread at 8:30 a.m., half an hour after opening. This situation repeated itself daily.

We stayed there for a week in August and booked our mobile home through Eurocamp. Booking was very straightforward, and the staff on site only spoke English, which wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, our mobile home was very run-down, the beds were very unstable, and the kitchen equipment was very dirty. The entire cabin was full of ants; we even had some in the refrigerator.
The site itself is very beautiful; you have to like the steep hillside location. The restaurant is excellent, the staff there are very friendly and helpful, and the prices are very fair. There's a small market on site, but it's very expensive. We preferred to use the shops nearby.
The lake is just a few meters away.
There was little to keep our older children busy.

The campsite was beautiful and truly charming. Its hillside location gave us a wonderful view of Lake Garda. It was quiet, and the mobile homes and green areas were very well-maintained.
The private beach consists of a grassy area with a jetty and a small, level access to the water.
Unfortunately, the drive to the mobile home is a bit of a challenge due to the steep incline. Our car doesn't have hill start assist, and if you don't push hard to get going, starting up again becomes a challenge.
My tip: if you're there for the first time, you should park your car briefly at the bottom and walk along the path to get your bearings.

It's very cheap for the in my opinion very expensive price. But maybe I'm not up to date and it's standard now to pay 38€ per night for 1 tent and 2 people, no hot water after 13h and run-down sanitary facilities?
Pitches are nice, some trees here and there give an illusion of privacy. Campground is quiet, which we appreciated. Electricity is included (in theory, it's those three-pronged caravan plugs and if you don't have an adapter well it sucks to be you because "no of course we don't rent out adapters, everyone has those!"). There's running water at the pitch, but the faucet is mediocre enough to give you a full-body spraydown when trying to clean your dishes.
It's probably more enjoyable when you have your mobile home or caravan and are staying for a week with your whole family. But I wouldn't recommend it as a bikepacking trip stop.

We stayed here in a Eurocamp Comfort XL mobile home (#212). The campsite has a beautiful view, but you have to be lucky with which caravan you get/book, otherwise you'll only be looking at other caravans.
It says there's air conditioning, but you have to pay for it.
Furthermore, the campsite is very steep with narrow roads. A 25% gradient with tight bends. You'll have to drive this regularly, as there's nothing within walking distance, so everything you want to do has to be done by car.
The information provided could be better. While many holiday parks provide a booklet with phone numbers, opening hours of facilities, activities in the region, etc., you don't get that here. Even the map doesn't indicate where to dispose of your garbage bag, for example.
The campsite shop does have some items, but it's not comparable to a holiday park supermarket in the Netherlands. It's nice to find Jumbo store-brand white rice and chocolate sprinkles there. For other groceries, it's best to go to Salò. We had a good experience at Italmark and Aldi.
If you're traveling with a dog, you have to pay twice. Once at the tour operator and again within the park. This is for use of the dog facilities, which aren't available. There's no dog park, poop bags, or trash cans. The tour operator tells us you can get the amount you paid at the campsite back if you send in your receipt, but this isn't true.
We had a wonderful holiday, but there are several areas for improvement at this park. We did get the feeling that everything has to be as cheap as possible and they're trying to cut corners.
Oh, and note: the park reception is downstairs, but all the tour operators (and there are quite a few) have their own reception desk (often in a kind of tent or mini mobile home) at the very back of the campsite, at the top of the steep hill.

The pool, market, bar, and restaurant are also available. The hillside campsite is not suitable for those with mobility issues. I would return (but not with Happy Camp).

A beautifully situated campsite! The view is breathtaking. The biggest surprise is the pools; sometimes they turn off the slides, which are few anyway. Swimming in swimming caps evokes memories of bygone times, but it's strictly forbidden here. I expected more attractions for children.

Furthermore, there's a small shop stocked with essentials, a restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and truly delicious food, and the location! All of this makes it a pleasure to be here! I recommend it.

We had a wonderful time. Our host, Andre, who manages the Roan mobile homes, is a very nice guy. He knows what guests need. The campsite is, as described, a hillside terraced campsite, so you're next in line if you need to go up from the shop.
The layout of the two swimming pools was very convenient. We used the upper one, which was closest to us.
The air conditioning is paid for with a prepaid card. That's the way it is.
And a request for those who want to enjoy this campsite: drive slowly through the campsite streets. There are small children playing there too!
We didn't find the shop overly expensive. We bought the rest at the large supermarket in Salo.
There's a large market in Salo on Saturdays, which is definitely recommended.

You have to pay separately for everything, and yet the service is abysmal
You shouldn't even come with children, as they'll be extremely disappointed because the slides are only open half the time, and then only for a very short time.
When we asked, no one could tell us when the slides open or for how long, as apparently only the owner can do that or knows that.
We stayed with a third-party provider and were sent up and down five times, and it's very steep.
Here, the left hand doesn't know what to do.
I had to pay twice for the dog.
We wanted to ask the lifeguard about his cell phone plan, which is why he's on his cell phone the whole time and doesn't even look at the pool.
We were constantly given incorrect information. This meant that we were sent up and down again and again, and repeatedly sent back with incorrect information. Since the campsite is very steep and the repetition at the bottom is below third-party providers at the top, it's unfortunately very tiring.
We've been camping for many years, but unfortunately, or fortunately, we've never encountered anything like this campsite.
The campsite has a small private spot, which is unfortunately very neglected. There isn't even a trash can.
The children and we adults are equally very disappointed.

Stayed at an EUROCAMP Comfort XL static caravan at the camp.
The caravan (#137) was wider than normal (XL) and well equipt. It stands high on the hill with a great undisturbed view to the lake. We loved our breakfast or drinks watching the lake.
Air-conditioning was an issue. First, you needed to pay on top of the price for the cabin and we were not told about it. Secondly, it is too weak for the hot weather. Be aware.
Pools were fine, just a shame they close them at 7pm. Even before sunset. The peer to the lake is a bonus and great.
Food in the restaurant was reasonable, but there are many places to eat within 20min drive.

The campsite is very expensive, but offers nothing in return. The restaurant tried to cheat me, charging me over 200 euros for dinner, when in reality I only ordered lasagna, carbonara, and wine. It's ridiculous that for 100 euros per night at the campsite you also have to pay for Wi-Fi. What a shame. The internet doesn't work, even though you paid. If you want to cancel, you can't because no one cares that the internet doesn't work upstairs. The campsite location is great, and there's a private beach.

Our first and last time at this campsite. The grounds are nicely maintained, and our accommodation was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, there were only two small pools with terrible pool supervision! You can't leave a child unattended without worrying about someone jumping on them from the poolside or hitting them with a ball (both of which are forbidden!). There's also only a small grassy area and a jetty on Lake Garda, which is far from adequate for the size of the campsite. There's not much on offer for children besides the option of going to a playground. We tried to make the best of it, but we'll be looking for a more suitable campsite next year!

Great campsite. Definitely a relief after the reviews we read after booking.
We had a fantastic campervan from Gusto Campers. It was two years old, large, and well-maintained. Everything was provided: kitchenware, a coffee maker, a kettle, a microwave, a large fridge-freezer, a BBQ, and a patio set. Simply perfect.
The campsite managers were incredibly helpful and friendly and were always ready to assist.
Due to the water pressure distribution on the campsite, the shower gets hot quickly, which is a bit of a problem. There's not much you can do about it, so just be mindful.
Because it's a terraced campsite and Gusto Campers was on the top floor, getting to Lake Garda was easy, via the stairs, but coming back up was a challenge :) The view was definitely beautiful.
Upstairs, there's also a swimming pool, a large playground, a soccer field, and a terrace with a dining area. So, great entertainment for children up to about 13. The older children mainly hang out at Lake Garda or on the terrace downstairs. There's no real nightlife nearby.

A nice campsite, but nothing more. The location is extremely quiet; without a car, you can hardly get around. There's hardly any entertainment, and there's no rental option on site (boat, pedal boat, etc.). There are few restaurants within walking distance. Everything on the site is very cramped and hilly.
The air conditioning fee is ridiculous, considering the prices.
The restaurant is also rather poor. The mini-market has a good but very basic selection.
All in all, we wouldn't recommend it and won't be coming back.

Really nice camping site - while it's not really a camping site any longer (if it ever was) as there are mostly bungalows. Once you get used to the steep walk up (don't forget the milk at the store !!!) you will come to enjoy the stunning view.
One criticism: don't charge extra for the AC. The whole experience is premium priced already, don't make your customers pay for essential services!

Our mobile home was extremely noisy and everything was far too cramped and small. There was barely enough room to get dressed in either bedroom. So we had to use the living/kitchen area. There were only three coffee spoons, even though the mobile home was advertised for 4-5 people! We ended up cutting our vacation short four days early and driving home. There was noise and screaming children until well after 11 p.m.!! It was impossible to relax here!

Garda is a beautiful place, so it was very pleasant. My only negatives were the interruptions in the pool slides and the requirement to wear swimming caps. The restaurant was rather average. The shop was quite expensive. The mobile home wasn't the newest, but it was okay. Air conditioning costs extra. But I still recommend it because you can take it all in your stride and have fun. A definite plus is the access to the lake with a jetty where you can jump into the water and enjoy a dip in Lake Garda. I highly recommend it.

A small pool where inflatables aren't allowed. Paid Wi-Fi and a lot of ants in the cabins, so you'll need something for them... Other than that, it's very nice, with a private access to the lake with a jetty, and parking space by each cabin. The campsite is full of Poles :)
We used it directly.
The downsides are that there are two slides in the lower pool and two in the upper pool. However, they only operate twice a day for 2 hours each.

The campsite is very nice, but quite large, so be prepared for some uphill walking, the so-called cascade construction... the cottages are quite nice, even "spacious" - we had 3 bedrooms ;-) and quite decently cleaned on arrival.... Two cottages were rented, clearly marked as next to each other on the reservation... but of course, why book next to each other? You can only arrange everything there until 7 PM... after that, it's just a key in an envelope... and unfortunately, Italian traffic jams in this area and during the holiday season are normal... even if we called and informed them we'd be there literally at 7:20 PM, there was no way. Be prepared for paid Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The pools are located on different levels, so that's a plus. The entrance to Lake Garda and a designated small beach for campsite guests. You can eat good food on site, even at reasonable prices. There's also a place for children to go, and various attractions are provided. There's a small market on the campsite, but the prices are quite high. And what bothers me most is the lack of Polish language, even on the restaurant menu. There are a lot of Polish guests there. The restaurant, which is probably the main one at the very bottom, offers very good food. The panorama is beautiful.

A dreamy spot on Lake Garda. Pool facilities, a restaurant, bar, and playgrounds are available. The beautiful apartments are located high up on a very steep hill. I wouldn't drive low-slung cars here. You need to be a good walker, but the stairs are no problem. You can quickly reach the private beach. Water shoes are recommended. There's no sandy beach. The apartments are clean and have a great terrace. Air conditioning and a gas grill are available. The view is fantastic. We will definitely return. Greetings from Lake Garda.

This campsite is for those looking to relax. There's not much entertainment. No discos, etc., for two weeks. There's one children's show. Walking is not a problem, but cycling is an option. You can cycle to a nearby town, about 15 minutes away, where you can stroll along the promenade along the lake and enjoy great ice cream, cheaper than in Poland. Comfortable cabins are available at the campsite. The mountainous terrain has steep climbs and descents by car. You might get a little out of breath, especially when carrying water sports equipment. This year, paid air conditioning is available (we didn't need it at the turn of June and July). There are two swimming pools, three slides, and a paddling pool, all large enough for children. Swimming caps are required. Internet is available for a fee. Cell phone service was limited. The water garden was only occasionally used. Free sunbeds were sometimes lacking space, but overall, it was a nice place to relax. There's a small soccer field, and a tennis court is available for a fee. There's a ping-pong table outside. The lake is calm, without banana boats or other seaside attractions. It's good to have your own SUP, etc., as you can swim in this part of the lake. Lidl is about 15 minutes away by car. A week seems to be the best time to visit. You'll be able to communicate in English. During our period, 80-90% of vacationers are Polish. The rest are German, Italian, and Danish.

A large, well-maintained campsite overlooking Lake Garda. The cascading layout of the cabins means that many overlook the lake. A minor drawback can be the rather loud musical entertainment at the local restaurant. The campsite also boasts swimming pools in two locations, playgrounds, a sports field, and private access to the lake with a jetty and a large sunbathing area. Some campers spend their entire vacation at the campsite, as they need nothing more than good weather to be happy.

We had a lovely stay with our small child and baby. The region is stunningly beautiful, and the campsite has plenty to offer families. However, some of the playgrounds are broken and therefore dangerous. The staff seemed unmotivated and indifferent at times. Our biggest complaint, however, was the mold in our Chalet Deluxe, which the reception staff simply laughed at and offered no assistance. The borrowed crib was completely worn out and noisy. Cleanliness was okay, but there was still plenty of room for improvement. For the same price, you can find better campsites, which we would definitely book next time (e.g., Fornella).

The campsite is beautifully laid out. We rented a mobile home right at the top and had a wonderful view of the lake. There are two pools. Unfortunately, swimming caps are mandatory. Our dog had a great time. The road up is very steep, so some driving skills are required. Everything is very clean and well-maintained.

The campsite is located in a quiet location overlooking Lake Garda. It is terraced. Restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. The food is excellent, with a rooftop bar and excellent cocktails. It is just a few minutes from the harbor of Portese, from where you can explore the lake by boat. It has two swimming pools with slides.

It was a very nice vacation here. The only downside was that we still had a full ashtray and dirty outdoor furniture at the mobile home. You should also bring your own dish soap, rags, trash bags, and toilet paper.

Oh, the swimming caps!!! They really shouldn't be there.

A great place to relax, clean and tidy. The cabins have everything you need for a good night's sleep, rest, wash, or cook. The campground is clean, with quite a few hills, but access to each cabin is easy. Each cabin has its own toilet, and the campground also has clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. There's also a restaurant where you can eat. However, as is typical for Italians, they charge a coperto (a surcharge) for every table occupied. The surcharge is 4 euros per person. The pizza size, although for an adult, is child-sized. There's also a shop below the restaurant where you can buy fresh bread and basic groceries. There's a swimming pool for both children and adults, and swimming caps are required. If you don't have one, you can buy one at the shop. The campground is quiet and peaceful. Music in the restaurant doesn't play until 10:30 PM. In the morning, for some reason, everyone doesn't wake up until around 8:00, so the conditions for a good night's sleep and relaxation are truly ideal. Less than 200 meters below the resort, there's a small beach with a pier. Only for campsite guests. I personally recommend this place. Just be careful of the numerous speed cameras in the area. The speed limit is 50 km/h. I recommend it.

Unfortunately, I underestimated the enormous height and the multi-level structure of the campsite in photos.
Swimming caps are mandatory!!! and the narrow paths and parking lots deduct stars. The restaurant and market are decent. We, at least, won't be coming here again.

A large campsite with lots of mobile homes, where, in addition to the campsite itself, several tour operators also manage their own mobile homes. We booked through vacanselect. Situated on a steep hill, we had a mobile home with a view right at the top. Don't be afraid to drive uphill, with a gradient of at least 25% (comparable to the Keutenberg in South Limburg). Incidentally, the mobile homes are tightly packed together, giving you very little privacy.
Definitely a neat and clean accommodation. However, the furnishings are very basic, especially the kitchenware. You do live on a mountain infested with ants that easily find their way into the accommodation; there are tons of ants around the kitchen.
If you bring a dog, you have to pay twice, which isn't mentioned anywhere, and we were shocked: 72 euros with the tour operator and 60 euros upon arrival at the campsite. When we asked why, we were met with extremely unfriendly responses. For a dog-friendly campsite, there are no amenities like extra trash bins and poop bags, resulting in dog poop everywhere.
You have to pay for Wi-Fi at the campsite, with minimal explanation. Here's a leaflet to read, and the message was to pay here. Furthermore, the reception and speed are terrible.
We didn't use the air conditioning, but you can pay by the hour if you want to use it.
The restaurant is decent and has a wide selection of pizzas and other dishes.
The campsite shop has a limited and expensive selection, as is typical for a campsite shop. They do sell some Dutch products from a Dutch supermarket. They also offer fresh bread rolls, but not every day there were fresh croissants. You can pay by card and cash.

Stayed with Eurocamp. Great bunch of people willing to accommodate in any way possible. The houses we stayed in were fantastic. A sidenote is that quite a few caravans are packed close together. This applies to the caravans of all caravan organisations. Hence a word of advice is to select your accommodation on forehand and do this with care. The camping is situated on a slope. Therefore getting to your house on the top of slope can be challenging. If you manage to get a caravan with a lake view this effort is more than worth it. When we were there there were kids from many nationalities there. These kids mixed well with eachother.

Great, cozy campsite. We were there the last week before the site closed. Unfortunately, they'd already cut costs here and there. The lighting in the restrooms was very poor, as was the hot water. Great pool, but the terms of use are extremely outdated. You're only allowed in the water with a swimming cap. Since we didn't have one with us and didn't want to buy one, we couldn't use the pool and went to the private beach instead.

Very well located campsite, on the hillside so very steep. The panoramic view from the top of the campsite is incredible. The swimming pool is decent, with swimming cap required (but swimming shorts tolerated, spot the mistake ). In the summer of 2023, the air conditioning was limited to 6000kw/h, which is not at all restrictive, you just have to turn off the air conditioning when you are away from the mobile home. There is a small beach reserved for campsite guests 50m away. Not very interesting (it's more of an access to the lake), but it has the merit of existing and the pontoon for diving is really nice. There is a small port 7 minutes walk away, very convenient for taking the boat. Be careful, the beaches of the lake are covered with pebbles, often quite large, remember to bring slippers (exorbitant on site) if you want swimming to remain a pleasant moment

This was my first camping trip, and I can't compare it to any others. A plus: cleanliness, nice cabins, an on-site restaurant and shop, two swimming pools with slides, and views! A minus, especially for families with children: no entertainment (we were there in August), which made it boring in the evenings, so we had to look for attractions outside the campsite. The playground was rather poor, and everything was dark (no streetlights). The cycling area was rather poor: there were no paths, and when they did exist (in Salo), most of them required walking. The nearest Lidl is a 20-minute drive away. The lakeside beach has large rocks and a difficult entrance. Garda is beautiful, and we'll be back, but to a different location.

We've been coming to this fantastic campsite for years; it feels like coming home.
We love the location, and every year something is renovated or added.
There are two beautiful swimming lanes, waterslides, a good restaurant, and a lovely spot by the lake where our dog is also welcome to swim.

Location:
Breathtaking scenery over Lake Garda with mountains in the background. The view from the mobile home on the hillside is magnificent, and I couldn't get enough of it.
It's worth knowing that the climb can be arduous, especially if the mobile home is located high up.
Mobile Homes:
Our cottage was small and cozy and had the amenities mentioned when booking. So far, we were very satisfied – except for two things:
1) Unfortunately, our coffee machine was broken and caused a short circuit every time we tried to use it.
2) I think fly screens/mosquito nets are necessary. They're also available in other mobile homes and should be feasible.
Pools:
In addition to the lake access, the campsite has two pools, each with two water slides.
We were there at the beginning of the low season and found it pleasantly quiet and peaceful. The downside was that, for example, not all of the slides were in operation. I also don't understand the point of the swim cap requirement when some women think they can leave their braids outside the cap. Then their hair still ends up in the water.
The lifeguard at the lower pool, a.k.a. guard dog, ensures order and strictly enforces the rules. He's immediately ready with a raised finger if anyone misbehaves.
The lifeguard at the upper pool seems more relaxed and even lends a hand if bathers want to move their loungers.
Receptions:
The different areas of the site are run by different agencies, which can be a bit confusing if it's not clear who's responsible for what—whether it's the agency or the main reception at the entrance. And if you don't find anyone despite the agency's opening hours, it's a shame.
Overall, despite the shortcomings, it's a lovely place to relax and have lots of fun in the pool or lake.

We booked our campsite through Allcamps. The very friendly staff from ROAN are in charge on site.
Our mobile home was very tidy and offered everything you need for your stay. We also ordered bed linens and towels, which is always a good decision. In my opinion, the location is just right for a so-called relaxing holiday. The beautiful campsite with its private beach is located slightly off the main road between several private villas. The harbor is a 5-minute walk away. From here, you can reach any of the lake's tourist destinations if needed. The other side of the bay, with the lovely little town of Salo, can be reached by ferry or on foot. We would be happy to come back.

The campsite is beautifully situated near Lake Garda, with its own private beach. Salo is nearby. The sanitary facilities look a bit less modern but are clean and tidy and are cleaned several times a day. Due to the ratio of chalets to camping pitches, they are not used very intensively.
There is a camping shop and supermarkets in the village. There is also a good restaurant with a bar and terrace where live music was played in the evenings.
From the harbor (within walking distance), you can take a ferry to other places.
There are two swimming pools: one downstairs at reception and one upstairs on the terraced campsite.

A very nice place. However, anyone traveling there with VacansOleil may experience an unpleasant surprise when returning the cottage. I recommend thoroughly checking the cleanliness of your cottage at the beginning and taking photos. Or not doing it at all if you notice something, and I mean small things like fingerprints on the glass pane by the door. When we returned the cottage (of course, you're supposed to leave it in order and clean, and we did), the employee showed us everything (not particularly nice about it, and really picky), even the things/dishes we didn't use. We were given a choice: either continue cleaning ourselves or pay 100 euros (which is probably what it was all about). It's no fun cleaning the house more than it was cleaned when you arrived. The whole holiday feeling was completely ruined by it. Also, I understand that unfortunately, this means they don't actually clean the cottages themselves, even if they're pretty tidy.... Not recommended.

Stayed here with Canvas Holidays - the accommodation was dire (may not be the case wth another provider), but the campsite is fab. A very steep incline, but excellent/dramatic views of Lake Garda. The hill may not be suitable for all, but our 6 yo managed fine, and we enjoyed the exercise! There's two clean pools with very attentive life guards, keeping them safe. Each has 2 slides. One has a fab view of the mountains (pic attached). There's 2 play parks, one with a bar, so you can have an ice cream/drink and watch play (when you need a rest from joining in). Restaraunt is good with friendly attentive staff and wonderful views of the lake and Reception staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. A five/ten minute walk gets you to a port to catch a boat to other places on the lake and a couple of nice restaurants again with good view and food. Recommend this site - but not Canvas Holidays.

If you're familiar with the area, it might be okay, but it was our first time there and we were surprised by all the hidden costs. You have to pay extra for Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and swimming caps are mandatory, which you have to buy yourself. Garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. I wish I'd known that when booking. The water slides were constantly out of service, and the hotel was unfortunately not clean at all—broken fingernails, and much more. We wouldn't go back again.

I found this campsite online and it was good value for money when booked through a tour operator. The mobile home was old but clean. It was located on the hillside, as the campsite is built on a slope. The campsite has two swimming pools, one at the top and one at the bottom, which is a real plus. The grounds are clean and well-maintained. It's peaceful and very pleasant to wake up in the morning.
The staff are courteous. The view of Lake Garda is breathtaking.

Beautiful location. The staff could be a bit friendlier, except for the bartender on the deck. The lighting in the evenings could also be better, and there's little entertainment for kids. There are plenty of amenities, such as swimming pools and playgrounds. It's quite a hike up for strollers!

Beautifully located, rather quiet, dog- and family-friendly campsite. We would love to come back!
We rented a mobile home from Eurocamp in the lower part of the campsite. The mobile home had everything you needed. The service from the Eurocamp team was excellent! The Eurocamp team is upstairs at the campsite with registration, etc. The campsite reception is downstairs at the entrance and was also great! All the restrooms, two different pool areas (upstairs and downstairs), the private access to the lake including a lawn (partly sunny and shaded by trees), and the small shop were very well maintained and well-maintained. The restaurant with terrace (great view) is also recommended. Also recommended are the boat trips directly from Portese (a 10-minute walk), for example, to Salo, Garda, and Sirmione. These are child- and dog-friendly.
Note: Water shoes are a good idea for sensitive feet; some mobile homes are located very high up, making it difficult to climb, but offering great views.

We stayed in a Viola cabin for the whole week of 27, and it was absolutely perfect, for a family of 4.
The air conditioning was top notch, and we felt wonderfully cool, all hours of the day.
The staff were the sweetest, always smiling and helpful, and really good at making fun of our children.
Direct access to Lake Garda, with a lovely bathing jetty
All areas were well maintained and in good condition, including playgrounds, pools etc.
The restaurant gets 5 stars from us, the food was first class and the staff equally so!
All in all, we couldn't have dreamed of a better experience. We give our warmest recommendations and look forward to returning, next year and probably many years to come

We had a chalet and a pitch. The pitches are quite steep and separated by bushes and trees; not recommended without a caravan mover. The entire campsite is incredibly steep on a hillside. We had to go all the way to the top to register, as the campsite itself is run by Eden, but the chalets are operated by different companies, each with their own office location on the site. I paid €620 for 12 nights in a caravan and €1450 for the chalet, so it's expensive. The campsite offers a pool that's about 1.30 meters deep with a water slide, and another pool about 1 meter deep at the top of the hill. To get to the lake, you have to go all the way down, cross the blind road, and descend the slope to where there's a footbridge and large rocks to navigate around to reach the lake. I wasn't particularly impressed.

This is our fourth time at the campsite, and it was once again very nice, even though the weather wasn't quite as good as we'd hoped. The entire campsite is terraced. Depending on where you stay, this means a lot of steps, but that doesn't bother us on vacation. The restaurant is busy and also offers takeaway meals. Swimming caps are mandatory in the pool, which is okay...if everyone looks the same . There's a small games room by the restaurant and the upper pool. The latter closes quite early, which is a shame. Beautiful private access to the lake where everyone can find a spot, whether alone or in a larger group...a bar with drinks and snacks would be great here
The only drawback this time was that we didn't have continuous hot water for days. We received compensation for this, but we wished our concerns had been taken seriously and not waited six days to complain...
It would also be great if they invested some money in the upstairs play area, especially in the ping-pong tables, lights until 11 p.m., or at least opened the tennis court for the kids to play soccer – without paying for it, of course.

Camping Eden is a lovely campsite built on a hillside. Some of the cabins have a really beautiful view of the lake from the top, but not all of them! We didn't mind not having a view, though. Our mobile home was small, not as modern as some others, but it had enough space for four adults and two children. We knew this beforehand, so we were quite happy with it. The terrace is large, and each cabin has a charcoal grill, so you don't need to bring your own. We were located at the top of the hill, near which there were also camping showers and toilets (the cabins also had their own toilets and showers). There was also a pool, slides, and a bar. By the way, swimming in the pool is not allowed without a swimming cap. You have to buy one on-site or bring your own.
One star deducted for the campsite restaurant. We ordered, and asked not to order a pasta dish, as the portion was very small. The service charge was added directly to the bill. €1.80 per person, regardless of age (child or adult)! I don't think that's fair at all! You should still be able to decide for yourself how much you want to tip. The food itself was good, but for the reason mentioned above, we wouldn't go there again.
The campsite has access to a lake and a jetty.

We're here in May. The campsite is beautifully situated on a mountainside, terraced, with a beautiful view. You have to walk uphill. There are places where the cabins are cramped, but I recommend Roan Holidays – the cabins are large, well-equipped, and have plenty of space in front. The shop has all the basics. The restaurant is large, serves very tasty Italian cuisine, and is inexpensive – I recommend it.
Two swimming pools, two playgrounds, and water slides. It's not crowded in May. The surroundings are beautiful, especially the charming town of San Felice Benaco, very close to the Portese port, where boats sail. The service is friendly, I have no complaints. Paid WiFi is available (not worth it; the Polish package is cheaper), and paid, pre-paid air conditioning is available. Not necessary in May.
Overall, we were satisfied. We wanted a beautifully situated campsite in the mountains, and this is just that.

The Homeair mobile home is very simply furnished. It has all the essentials, and is 24 square meters. The biggest drawback is that dogs are unpopular. It costs €49 per dog for 7 days. They're only allowed on a leash; you're not even allowed to let them go on the grass. Of course, as always, this only applies to large dogs! Small dogs are allowed to run free. The campsite's own beach is no more than 100 meters wide and has rocks and stones. Dogs are officially allowed on the beach, but we weren't aware that they were only allowed on a leash. The reason: Because of the children!!! How cool.

We booked the "Giglio" house, from where we had a beautiful view of Lake Garda.
The house unfortunately didn't match the pictures and descriptions on the website.
It was rather sparse, cold, but functionally furnished.
The lamps only had light bulbs and no lamp covers at all.
The pool is completely overcrowded, both above and below.
The water quality in the upper pool leaves a lot to be desired.
Nobody follows the posted rules, e.g., about playing ball.
The lifeguards seem unmotivated.
Water slides are often closed or broken.
Overall, the pools are far too small.
The restaurant is beautifully located and offers a beautiful view of the lake, inviting you to linger.
We would rate the food as "mediocre."
The service at the tables is very friendly.
There are no activities at the entire campsite, not even for children.
The opportunity to walk dogs is very limited.
We didn't see any dog poop bag dispensers on the campsite either.
The campsite is a bit dated, and there's a significant backlog of investment.
To reach the upper pitches, you have to climb a steep hill.
However, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view.

We stayed at the RV site and, thanks to the low occupancy of the pitches, had a beautiful view of Lake Garda. Everything was very clean, and you could swim on the private beach. There was also a jetty from which you could easily enter the lake, so you didn't need beach shoes. The only downside was the price of €44 for an overnight stay. That's definitely too expensive for the off-season. Fortunately, there are cheaper spots available.

Been going here since 1998 so obviously the family really like the site and the area around Lake Garda. It is getting busier and more caravans/lodges have been added which in my opinion are now too close together. Parking is now a problem and at a premium really. We all have cars. The site is steep so you really need a fair level of fitness to tackle it or just use the car. The shop is not cheap and can be very busy especially in the morning for bread etc. This will probably be our last year. Not all on the site but a collection of issues surrounding the area with traffic etc. Best way to travel is by ferry as roads are a bit of a nightmare at times, most of yhe time really.

It's about 50 meters from the beach and has a great pool area for all ages...very clean and friendly staff. The scenery here is very beautiful. However, you should be aware that the paths are very steep, making the campsite difficult to reach on foot. Naturally, we found a spot for our car near our tent. The service here, both at the campsite and from Gusto Camp, is very good. We rented a 4-person tent. The restrooms are dated, but they are clean and cleaned twice a day. There's also a pizza takeaway on site. The beach is also close to the campsite. There's also a restaurant on site; according to other campers, the food was good. We didn't eat there ourselves. We spent 10 days at this campsite in a mobile home with a wooden veranda overlooking the lake. Fantastic. We enjoyed the sights every day. The mountains, the lake, and the boats. The lights in the distance as it got dark. We were there with two sons, aged 17 and 21. We had drinks at the restaurant downstairs and also got a delicious pizza there. Upstairs at the campsite, we enjoyed sitting, playing pool and table tennis. There was a private beach by the lake with a jetty where you could jump into the water. We didn't use the pool, but it looked okay. The staff at the check-in and information desk were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in at 2 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. because the caravan was already ready. The restaurant staff didn't seem to understand. They didn't radiate much joy and were curt. I can imagine that if you come here with small children, it might be a bit less fun. We didn't see much entertainment, and the slides are barely open. But it was fine for us, and we were looking for entertainment in the area. We would definitely go back.

It's a nice campsite, but it definitely has some shortcomings. There's been no entertainment or children's disco for the past three years (reportedly due to COVID-19). The wide yellow slide is closed (and nothing is being done about it). Slides are only open for certain parts of the day. And finally, the rooftop bar (above the restaurant) is only open twice a week with music. It's a real shame if you're paying full price during peak season. If everything had been fine, it would definitely have been a 4.5 star.

The site has direct access to the lake, where there is a jetty you can jump in from and swim which is lovely and the kids especially loved this. The location is fantastic. It's a ten minute walk to the Portese ferry stop, from where you can get the ferry to lots of places around Lake Garda. We went to Maderno, which has a sandy beach and was lovely. It's about an hour and a half drive to Verona, which we did and is well worth it. It's also very close to the stretch of road James Bond drives at the start of Quantum of Solace, and driving that is a great experience.
We were disappointed with the site itself unfortunately, and thought it was expensive for what it was. It is on an extremely steep hill, and there are steps up to the different levels. We were located in one of the lake view caravans- which we paid extra was and it was worth the extra as the views are stunning- but we were a long walk from both the pools, the lake, the bar and the shop. Even our teenage boys found the walking up and down all the stairs off-putting in the heat. We tried both pools and were disappointed with these too. There are significantly fewer sunbeds than needed, so unless you manage to grab one early in the morning, you will have nowhere to sit or sunbathe by the pool. Swimming caps are mandatory which is not great for teenagers and wasn't something we were aware of beforehand. No inflatables are allowed in the pool. The site overall is very, very crowded to the point of feeling claustrophobic in places. We would return to the area definitely, but would find a nicer site and would not return to this one.

Beautiful views, close proximity to the lake and well equipped mobile made this stay great. We caught the 9:15 boat to Saló our first day and after sightseeing there went to italmark and they called us a taxi so we had supplies for the week. We did try two restaurants close by that were excellent restaurant relax and la cariola, the latter was so good we went back twice. We strolled by the pier most evenings where you can get great ice cream. The hill is steep and could be a problem for small children or those that are not fit. The view made the climb for us well worth it. Would recommend paying extra for air con and the view. The supermarket on site is not bad it has what you need it is pricey for some items but weighing that up with the convenience makes it ok in my opinion. We found the staff in reception very helpful. Would recommend visiting Saló it’s so close by.

It's really beautiful here. The complex is well-maintained and clean. The chalet is quite large (sleeps 5) and the decor is more 80s-style. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Beautifully situated campsite on Lake Garda with its own beach and close to a small harbor, Portese, where you can board the taxi boat. It's a terraced campsite and quite steep. There's an excellent restaurant and a small shop for bread and groceries. Ample swimming facilities, especially for younger children. Frequented by Danes and Poles. We didn't experience any disturbance; it quieted down in good time. Some accommodations are close together, which isn't very inviting, but almost all have air conditioning, which is a welcome bonus.

The campsite is quite pleasant, small, and even quiet. It's situated on the hills, so you'll need to walk quite a bit :) and a third of the cabins have fantastic views of the lake and mountains. The rest have views of other cabins. There are two swimming pools in two different locations, each rather medium-sized, plus two skating rinks with very limited opening hours (2 hours a day), while the third is permanently closed. There's also a paddling pool for children. In June, they weren't fully booked yet, so they were sufficient, but in high season, they'll probably be too small. There's one very good restaurant, plus a terrace bar (there was even live music). Prices are reasonable. The on-site shop is very poor, and it's only open for a short time. Lidl/Aldi is a 25-minute drive away. There's a section of shady beach, a very difficult descent to the rocks, and a single ladder on the jetty. Overall, it's a pleasant place, but your experience depends on whether you book a cabin with a view or not.

Super clean. We had a pitch that was big enough for our car (van), tent, and gazebo. For two pitches next to each other, there was a sink for cooling off, which was wonderful. You could also do the dishes there, although only with cold water. It's only a few minutes' walk to the lake, but it's rocky. Swimming shoes are great if you want to walk in. From the jetty, there's a ladder that's pretty worn. It's also too steep. Wider steps would be much better, and the handrail could be a bit longer. The restrooms are very clean. There are pools down by reception and above the terraces where the mobile homes are. It goes without saying that the pizza and ice cream are excellent. We would go there again, but we'd also like to see other areas of Lake Garda.

Attention the gate to the campsite closes daily at 11pm so you have to leave the car in the parking garage below and we had to walk up the hill with shopping which is very exhausting, 11pm is definitely too early like being in prison so I wouldn't go there again also to Sirmione and Limone we always had a 45min drive it's very remote and there are radars everywhere. Fantastic!
Terraced campsite, so depending on the location of the mobile home, you'll have to climb 65-100 steps (or by car). But it's worth it if you've booked a mobile home with a view (ALWAYS DO IT!). We rented from VacanceSelect with a view (65 steps) and were very satisfied. Terrace with plenty of shade, comfortable garden furniture, air conditioning, and a VacanceSelect contact person. We (a couple 65+) arrived at the end of May (25-28 degrees Celsius), and the first half of June around 30 degrees (warmer than usual according to the internet). The campsite shop was quite expensive (as is usual at campsites) with some Boni products, including an Aldi 6km away.
Perfect: the beach is 500 meters away (much nicer and larger than the campsite's mini-beach), although it's gravel everywhere, so bring water shoes!
Also perfect: the ferry departure point is 500 meters away (clear timetable available). Great for a day trip (e.g., sailing to Garda, hiking to Bardolino, and then sailing back to the campsite (Portese harbor).
No experience with the activities or the restaurant.
Lots of families (between Ascension Day and Pentecost), mainly from Germany. We don't have any experience with the campsite mentioned above, only with the VacanceSelect mobile homes (super clean). We have absolutely no regrets about our three weeks at Camping Eden!

From the campsite, you can walk straight to the private beach on Lake Garda!
The village of Salo is just 5 minutes from the campsite! Here you'll find the "Italmarc," a huge supermarket where you can find absolutely everything!
For those who smoke tobacco, there are separate shops... they're scattered throughout the village... but the easiest... I found... was at the "Conad" in the cafeteria!
Furthermore, you're on a beautiful campsite in stunning surroundings! And no matter which part of the campsite or which cottage you stay in, the surroundings are picture-perfect from every angle!

Beautiful view from the Vacansoleil mobile home. Two lovely, well-maintained swimming pools. The only drawback is that a swimming cap is required. They're very strict about it if you don't have one. You can buy a swimming cap for 2 euros at the ice cream bar by the pool upstairs.
I wouldn't recommend this campsite for older people. You have to climb a steep hill and drive there too.

We stayed at a beautiful spot. The caravan was spotless. The swimming pool was clean. There are two of them, by the way, but we only used one. They have a small camping shop with a wide selection. There's a restaurant with a good view. The only downside is that everything is very steep and it takes quite a while to get down. Getting back up is also quite a climb. We always go to Peschiera, partly because there's more to do there and the surroundings are more pleasant. (That's where we are now.) But if you like a beautiful view and peace and quiet, this is an ideal spot!

The campsite is very large, well-maintained, and clean. There's a lake-view restaurant and a lake-view bar.
The food in the restaurant is good, but in my opinion, it's a bit pricey. Dishes that you'd usually pay €10-12 for in restaurants can cost up to €18 here. Otherwise, it's very nice, especially if you have children, as there are two pools, one with a slide for older children 10 and up, and the other pool, also with a slide, for children under 10. The staff is all very kind and friendly. The only flaw is the TOO MANY LIMITING RULES REGARDING POOL AIR, so much so that the lifeguard has to constantly call out, which makes people feel uncomfortable, really uncomfortable. Other than the pool area, nothing else to complain about!

It's an amazing place. The views from the campsite are truly beautiful, but you need to be careful where you rent your cabin. The campsite is laid out in cascades, and the shop is only at the bottom. People with physical or walking difficulties will have a hard time renting a cabin at the top. The entire campsite is clean, pleasantly shaded, and the pools are very nice. You don't have to pay for sunbeds. It's a great place to take many excursions. I recommend Monte Baldo. We have very fond memories of our stay at this campsite.

There's not much to say except that our stay was lovely.
The apartments in the first row are a bit run-down and could use some renovation, but they were spotlessly clean. The parking situation is fantastic; you park right in front of your door and can see your car day and night.
The on-site market is really overpriced; we paid €3.20 for plain butter.
Wi-Fi is only available for a fee, which is a bit of a downside.
Some of the staff even speak very good German, and otherwise, everyone speaks relatively good English.
The grounds are maintained daily, and they even pay attention to the environment; recycling is a priority here! The pictures speak for themselves regarding the pools—they're really very clean. The sun loungers are sturdy and always clean.
We'd love to come back.

Ok place with probably the best views of lake Garda. However some parts of the camp site and some activities were closed, and no entertainment during the day or evening, even it was in high season. A decent campsite, well-suited for very young children up to 12 years old. Very steep, with significant elevation changes. Don't forget anything, otherwise you'll have to climb back up. The campsite's mobile homes are tidy, but don't have kettles, coffee makers, or TVs. I expected that, considering the price. Air conditioning is also charged per use. You essentially pay for all extras separately. The restaurant is basic, fine for the first evening. We missed a charming village nearby with restaurants. Everything has to be done by car.

This is tricky, as the campsite facilitates multiple tour operators, and the pitches and caravans are highly dependent on the tour operator. The campsite is well-maintained, as are the swimming pool, shop, and restaurant. We booked with Vacansoleil (Fiji accommodation), and everything is crammed together, resembling a container camp. So, it's simply not recommended. The mobile homes are also elevated and accessible individually via a staircase. This creates a feeling of being confined.
The campsite has a significant elevation change. If you're at the top and want to visit the shop or restaurant, it's better to drive, otherwise you'll be sweating profusely.

This won't be easy to report on.
As always, what counts is what do you actually want to do and experience on vacation here at the resort?
The resort is beautifully constructed and designed. Very nice "settlements" with the caravans have been built.
Everything is surrounded by countless olive trees, hydrangea bushes, and much more.
In places, it looks like small mountain villages in Liguria.
So, 5 points for the resort.
The catch is that the resort is really very large and stretches across a mountain.
I estimate there's a 20 to 30 meter difference in altitude from the entrance to the end.
The whole thing is accessible via a staircase.
You can take the stairs in the morning, but during the day, when the sun is beating down at 40C, it's no fun.
I'm thinking of families with small children or those who are no longer as physically fit. That only gets 1 point.
The complex has two pools, each with nice slides and a child-friendly pool. Nice pools, nice slides. Unfortunately, anything that's even remotely fun is forbidden.
Swimming badges are mandatory, no rubber toys allowed, no air mattresses allowed.
Jumping from the edge depends on the lifeguard's mood. Also only 1 point.
The lake. There's a shady lawn and a pebble beach.
Unfortunately, there's nowhere to park your car.
There are no showers or restrooms.
You have to walk back up to the complex (about 300m).
The restaurant is decent value for money.
The supermarket is also well-stocked and has good opening hours.
If you like swimming in Lake Garda (like us), you'll have to put up with a lot of inconvenience.
If you prefer to swim in circles around the pool, you're in good hands here.
The caravan we rented is equipped as standard.
After a week, the boiler broke, and hot water was running sparsely from the tap.
They attempted to repair it, but apparently it couldn't be repaired.
The organizer wanted to meet with us to discuss how to remedy the situation. That was four days ago.
No one has contacted us in the meantime.
So, for us, this was a one-time event.
And it will remain so.

We were able to spend a week there during the night session during the coronavirus pandemic and were very impressed with the resort overall. Everything was very clean and well-maintained! Our mobile home was a six-person mobile home with really great amenities! The only drawback was that it didn't have a toaster or oven! One star deducted due to the hillside location and very steep stairs. The view from above the resort is fantastic!
A little tip for the owners: Put a trash can down at your private beach!!!
The staff are very friendly and helpful! The tour operator, Roan, is also highly recommended!

Es war ein toller Urlaub in einem schönen Feriendorf, fantastische Spielplätzen, Pools mit Rutschen für Kinder bis ca. 10 Jahre. Ein kleiner Markt mit täglich frischen Brötchen und alles, was man im Alltag benötigt.

Perfect campsite, a wonderful discovery with a view of Lake Garda. Everything was spotless: the pool, the children's play area, the impeccable restaurant, and the very reasonable prices. We highly recommend it. From there, we were able to visit Venice, Milan, Monza, and Verona, and there are outlet malls nearby that we loved. It was a delightful holiday.

Pleasant campsite on the shores of Lake Garda, private beach across the road, bungalow with magnificent views. I'm removing a star because the WiFi is chargeable (4 to 5 euros per day) (no mobile data following a change to my options, I would have needed to connect for 5 minutes to my space to sort it all out, I had to go to a small restaurant where the WiFi is free) and it's forbidden to swim without a swimming cap in the pool, which is a shame!

A lovely, clean campsite in an easily accessible location. Once there, there's a bit of a climb and steep roads. But in my opinion, that only makes it more attractive, and the pitches offer much better and more beautiful views. Well-maintained swimming pools. It's definitely recommended.

Luogo incantevole, pulito, ordinato, personale cordiale, gentile e professionale. Casetta con tutti i confort, ben accessoriats, pulitissima e con una vista incantevole. Spiaggia, in parte zona verde e in parte piattaforma cementata, tenuta benissimo. Con più accessi all'acqua. Il villaggio è dotato di market, bar e ristorante. Ma nei pressi è vicino a qualsiasi servizio.

A neat campsite on the edge of Portese. Two swimming pools, one at the bottom and one at the top of the hill. It's a terraced campsite, but manageable. The restaurant is decent, nothing special. I only tried the pizzas, which were good.
We booked a Canvas caravan with a view. It was truly fantastic. Plenty of space around the caravan. Beautiful olive trees for hanging hammocks. Canvas's support was excellent; everything was handled quickly and efficiently, should anything be needed.
A great base for exploring other villages and towns.
Recommended: book a boat rental for a day or half day before you go; it's really great.
A place to return to.

A neat campsite, with a fairly spacious pitch by Italian standards.
Everything is kept spotlessly clean, and there are two lovely swimming pools.

A fantastic campsite!!! The lake is huge, the pools, etc. are highly recommended! And the view of the mountains is probably the best in the area. We caught some fish in the lake and did some sightseeing, which made for a great vacation. Thank you.

I would only return here because it's within walking distance of Salo. But everything is very steep, so you have to enjoy climbing. I wouldn't recommend visiting the restaurant; instead, donate your money to charity. Even the spaghetti is microwaved; the staff and the owner do everything reluctantly. The swimming spot on Lake Garda is excellent, by the way. The departure point for the extremely polluting tour boat is nice and close, though ;-) Camping Piantelli in Moniga del Garda is a much better place to book your holiday.

We were disappointed with the playground. Children cannot play safely there. Bed linen is unavailable. The restaurant is mediocre and not recommended. No entertainment for children. The mobile home was not clean. It was advertised as being for 6 people, but it was okay for 2 adults and 2 children max. The bathroom was suitable for 36 people.
We've known this place for 10 years and expected more.

Mobile homes are OK. Some of the furniture needs replacing. Be careful, the gas stove! The grill is provided. Knives, cables, plates, bowls, etc. are also provided. The minimarket is OK, although a bit more expensive than outside of town. There are a few supermarkets nearby; it's better to shop there. Among them are Aldi and Lidl. Reception is very friendly. The bathing bay has a jetty, so be sure to bring your own or buy some water shoes. It's very rocky. Swimming caps are compulsory in the pool. The restaurant on site is also a bit expensive + a €2 service charge. There's nothing special around here apart from the port, nothing more. But you can easily get to the other towns by car. From here to Riva takes 1.5 hours, but you drive through every town. It's worth it.

I booked a tent on a nice, spacious pitch. The terraced campsite is steep, so it's not recommended for those with limited mobility. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but are kept clean. The food is excellent, and the camp shop has everything you need.

A really good campsite that we have returned to several times. It is not too big but the facilities are really good. And it is a very hilly terrain which means that there are fantastic views of Lake Garda from many places on the site.
