🔆We had one of the ground-floor apartments. The upper ones are probably nicer (at least that's how it looks in the photos posted by other users).
The advantage of being downstairs: you're right by the pool and can carry your luggage into the apartment more easily.
The disadvantage: when it's busy, it's definitely annoying and loud to be right by the pool (we were there at the end of the holidays, so it wasn't very busy). And downstairs, it's very dark, as you have a small terrace with hedges and small trees. Upstairs, it's brighter.
It's also very noisy.
It's really spartanly furnished, and everything is a bit dated (no new, chic furniture), BUT it's really clean! And that's always important to me! And the staff is super nice, friendly, and helpful! The pool is also nice, and the little "park" is cute. The playground, unfortunately, consists only of a very old seesaw that's almost falling apart. But you can borrow games and ping-pong paddles. You can also use a grill.
Behind the house is a beautiful path that leads to Malescine, and very close by is the "Speckstube" restaurant, where you can enjoy a drink and a meal in a very pleasant atmosphere (there's also a playground).
The apartment is like a vacation rental. However, if you plan to use it that way, you'll need to bring a lot of things from home. There's no kettle, for example. There's a coffee machine, but no filters, no coffee, etc. There's no dish soap, no cooking oil, etc.
We found the beds to be okay.
There's a lovely view from the pool.
