First, it's worth highlighting the hotel's greatest asset – the magnificent view of Lake Garda and the majestic Monte Baldo. The combination of the lake's blue surface and the mighty mountain range creates a spectacular setting, giving Malcesine and its castle a fairytale feel. On the roof, there's a viewing terrace with loungers, a jacuzzi, and a bar – the perfect place to admire the scenery.
The stay itself was pleasant and comfortable. The hotel offers parking (including underground), indoor and outdoor pools, a small gym, a spa, billiards tables, bicycle rentals, and electric car charging. The center of Malcesine is approximately 2.5 km (a 30-minute walk). Breakfasts are plentiful – there's something for everyone. Daily room service includes towel changes. The staff strives to ensure guests have a pleasant stay.
Unfortunately, the building is showing its age (about 25 years old) and requires modernization in some areas. The furniture and floors are very worn, and the biggest problem turned out to be the towels – old, thin, frayed, and long overdue for replacement. They were changed daily, but unfortunately, always with the same ones, which definitely spoiled the overall experience. A simple inspection and replacement of used towels would have been enough to significantly improve the standard. You can overlook a scuffed tabletop or scratched floor. However, if you're given an old towel every day, it ruins your pleasant stay!
I get the impression that the hotel owners – the Mazzoldi family – are pursuing a strategy of maximizing profits with minimal effort. This can backfire quickly, as guest reviews and online reviews spread like wildfire. And the truth is, the prices don't reflect on the quality offered. Definitely too expensive!

After a very bad hotel stay, we were full of hope for a few wonderful last days at Lake Garda, and what can I say: we didn't want to leave!
The staff was very attentive and friendly, the buffet was fantastic, the rooms were well-equipped, well-designed, and clean. It was perfect!

Excellent hotel! Beautiful property with spacious spaces, both outside and inside (including the rooms/suites), very well-maintained and clean. Worthy of note is the rooftop with a spectacular view of the lake (also equipped with a bar and hot tub) and the indoor and outdoor pools, both with lake views. Special mention goes to the owners and staff: fantastic! The restaurant is also good, although its menu isn't particularly extensive. The only drawback, perhaps, is that it's located two or three kilometers from the center of Malcesine, but on the other hand, it overlooks the Val di Sogno (Dream Valley) (the name says it all). Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at the Baia Verde Malcesine since 2022.
A friendly, family-run hotel with a prime location and stunning views of Lake Garda. The welcome was once again incredibly warm, our junior suite was spacious and modern, and the service was absolutely exemplary.
All the staff – from the owner to the service team – are highly motivated and constantly dedicated to the well-being of the guests.
The breakfast offers a wide selection, the pool and grounds are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the restaurant and bar offer something special for every taste.
The highlight, however, is the new rooftop terrace on the 5th floor. From here, you have a breathtaking view of Lake Garda and Monte Baldo. A whirlpool and lounge furniture invite you to relax, and food and drinks are served in the evenings. We spent some unforgettable evenings here, including some with live music.
A huge thank you to the Mazzoldi family and the entire hotel team for this unforgettable vacation.
We will definitely be back.

The staff is very kind and welcoming, attentive to guests' needs, especially dietary requirements. The room with a stunning lake view is clean and quiet. The breakfast is very rich and varied (a wide selection of savory options, from cured meats and cheeses to salmon. The sweet corner offers many choices, a variety of breads. 100% freshly squeezed orange juice... a variety of plant-based and lactose-free milks (and yogurts)... a wide selection of teas and herbal teas (in teabags and loose leaf). Even bubbles for breakfast... the spa is welcoming, pampering, clean, and nice and warm... the restaurant offers a variety of dishes prepared with great style and presentation...
In short: the ideal setting for a romantic getaway or to unwind in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful hotel, and we had a wonderful time. The room was impeccably clean. Everything was beautiful; without any prior request, upon our arrival, they provided us with two loungers for our two little ones, which was much appreciated. The kids had a blast in the pool. The staff were incredibly kind, as were the owners; we felt right at home.

The underground parking garage is, unfortunately, as is often the case in Italy, a real pain, with what felt like a 90-degree incline. Luckily, my car had air suspension. We specifically booked a room with a whirlpool on the balcony (which the hotel advertises), but unfortunately, it never worked properly until our departure, even though we pointed it out every day. In the end, we received a small refund as compensation, but it's still a shame.

Great hotel, excellent service, and the buffet selection leaves nothing to be desired. One point to note, but it's quite important: in at least four rooms on the first and second floors facing the mountains, the ventilation units/huge fans are located directly in front of the balconies and are extremely loud. It's impossible to leave the windows open. This information should be provided before booking, as it's quite disruptive to sleep and very noisy. Otherwise, everything is truly top-notch

A very well-run family-run hotel with very friendly and courteous/attentive staff, and excellent food (breakfast, dinner, and snacks at lunch by the pool). The hotel is located directly on the busy lakeside road, which doesn't interfere with the pool (due to the rushing water). However, peaceful sleep on the lakeside is only possible with the balcony door closed and the air conditioning on. It's manageable, though; after midnight, the traffic eases, and then you can open it if necessary. The apparently newly renovated pool is fantastic; small children can splash around and adults have fun too; it's never crowded and the staff are extremely well-maintained. We can imagine coming back. Just a few steps away (exit on the left, then path down to the right) is access to the lake promenade, where there are many restaurants and swimming opportunities, as well as a walking/cycling path to Malcesine.

The hotel: The hotel is easy to find, and the location is fantastic. It offers a small but nice outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The wellness offerings are excellent; appointments were also made quickly, although the massage was a bit too gentle, but that's a matter of taste.
The outdoor area is very well-maintained, and there's also a pool bar.
The food: Breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. We recommend making a reservation for dinner (except with half-board). We had dinner at the hotel a few times, and it was honestly a dream; if you didn't like something, you could always request something else.
The staff: From the cleaning staff, waiters, receptionist, etc., they were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would like to express my sincere appreciation and thanks again.
The room: The view from the balcony is wonderful. The room is a bit dated, as can be seen from the faded fabrics and the condition of the floor. Unfortunately, there are stains on the carpet and fabrics, and upon our arrival, there was a sticky stain on the floor (but it was immediately removed the next day). The mattress was also much too hard for us personally.
Nevertheless, I would definitely book this hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel in August with my family. It was very clean, had a breathtaking view, and the center of Malcesine is truly quaint. However, if you have little ones, I recommend a stroller with large wheels or a backpack because it's all up and down the cobblestoned streets!
Good food and breakfast!
The only downside: the restaurant's head waiter, originally from Puglia, is unfriendly and rude (even to the restaurant staff), although he disguises it—and knows when—with those fake smiles... awful!
It's a shame because the rest of the staff is truly wonderful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide selection; they made sure you could ask for anything you wanted. The room cleanliness was okay, but definitely needs improvement. The pool, on the other hand, was very clean and beautiful. It's a short walk to the lake, but that's not a problem. You're rewarded with a magnificent view of the lake. The supermarket is less than a 5-minute walk away. Malcesine is very beautiful. All in all, we had a wonderful week there and would highly recommend it.

Great hotel, but the service seemed a bit sluggish. The room was clean, the bathroom was fantastic with a separate toilet, and the balcony with a whirlpool was really cool. The indoor pool was perfect, with a large and a small separate whirlpool – very pleasant, especially since it wasn't too crowded just before 7 pm.

We stayed at the Hotel Baiaverde in Malcesine over Easter. We had a spotless room (Junior Suite Deluxe) with a view of Lake Garda. We received a warm welcome at reception. They do everything they can to make their guests feel comfortable. The beds were too hard for us, so we informed reception, and we were given mattress toppers and slept like babies. The dinner (5-6 course menus each) was varied and creative. The desserts, in particular, were a work of art.

We can only praise the owners, the hotel, the staff, the facilities, and the food. It feels as if you've always been here. The food is not only a feast for the eyes but also a feast for the eyes. Everything is designed and presented as if you were in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Even if you're a pessimist by nature, even you'll be won over here, and you'll enjoy your stay at the hotel. The rooms and breakfast are okay, but I can't recommend the dinner. The lounge furnishings are also in no way befitting a 4-star hotel. Both the lounge and the bar have simple chairs and tables, not a hotel bar with bar stools. The bar was often unmanned; I had to go to reception, and then the barmaid was called. The hotel is located above the lake; it's a 30-minute walk along the road or along the lake to the center of Malcesine. Not suitable for older people.

The suite with a jacuzzi on the terrace was beautiful, and the entire stay was delightful. The pool was perfectly designed...great for both kids and adults. The menu was decent, the breakfast was generous and varied, and the afternoon snack...a little more variety wouldn't hurt either...dinner was fine.
This is definitely a hotel that, if they changed the slightly '80s-inspired furnishings and gave a modern touch to the entrance façade with new colors and glass parapets on the terraces, would immediately deserve a 4-star rating (perhaps with a few more choices on the menu, too).
The friendliness of the staff and the owners is noteworthy.

Good morning, I stayed at this hotel and what can I say...everything was perfect, the staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, the room was huge, the pool was perfect, and finally, a park full of olive trees where you can relax...the TOP. I highly recommend staying there.

Very friendly staff, helpful, and accommodating! Our dog also felt very comfortable! We enjoyed a very nice room with a view.
The beach was only 5 minutes away, and the pool offers a wonderful view of the mountains and the lake.
The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired.

Great hotel, despite the road being so close. You can't hear it at night. Best breakfast ever in Italy. Hard mattresses, but good ones. The biggest drawback: the pillows. But if you don't care about down, it shouldn't matter. For everyone else: put a pillow in your car. You won't regret it.
Loungers by the pool were okay. Nothing to complain about.
We always ate out in the evenings.
Wi-Fi in the hotel wasn't great, but who needs it these days?
The view: priceless!

Quite a nice hotel. The price/performance ratio isn't quite right, I think. The options for vegetarians and vegans are quite limited. However, they bought a small breakfast item. Plant-based milk is standard, though. In the evening, they simply leave out enough food until it's vegan, but then, unfortunately, it doesn't taste particularly good anymore and, of course, still costs the same. Any shortcomings were dealt with immediately. The whirlpool on the balcony was more of a bathtub with a whirlpool function, and was a bit dated. Still nice, though. The room was very large and nicely furnished. The swimming pool was great, but the outdoor pool was much too cold, so it was practically always empty. The staff were friendly, but not unfriendly. The beach is a short walk away, and not so great with strollers along the road. Not really a family hotel. The massage was great and quite inexpensive. At breakfast, you could squeeze your own juice from a variety of fruits, which was great. The cakes in the morning and afternoon were more like supermarket quality and rather poor by Italian standards. We wouldn't necessarily book there again, but it was still okay.

I really like this place. In the hotel you will find large and clean rooms, air conditioning, bathrobes, fresh towels some of them with balconies, where you can comfortably relax. There is an amazing view to the lake and swimming pool and table tennis on the hotel's territory. Of course parking, but WiFi is do weak, that you can't normally work. Nice breakfast, very friendly staff. Here you definitely find a relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel has its own parking spaces behind the hotel. For an additional charge, or if you upgrade to a higher-quality room, you can also park your vehicle in the underground garage. There is a pool on site. There are three room categories. We were offered a family room for €160 per night. One more level would cost €220 and is on the third floor. This means the view is, of course, fantastic. We decided on the highest class on the second floor as there is a small whirlpool on the balcony for 240€/night (this option is also available on the 3rd floor but there the whirlpool is in the room). There is an inside and outside bar, room service, a fitness room and also a spa area in the hotel. There is also a restaurant in the hotel but we did not try it. Half board is available for 18€/day. The top category rooms differ from all the others in terms of the furnishings and the bathroom. There are separate toilets and showers. All in all a very nice hotel with super friendly staff. It's worth a visit!

Everything was done right. Large, clean rooms, amazing view of the lake, large balcony, very friendly, multilingual, and enthusiastic staff. The restaurant is expensive but good. Plenty of parking spaces on the parking deck or secure in the underground garage. A small town with good restaurants, a supermarket, pharmacies, etc. is within walking distance (unfortunately, sometimes dangerous, as there are no sidewalks. It's better to drive there). The local castle is also worth a visit.

Easy to find. 2.5 km to Malcesine. Walking a short distance you have to walk along the street, then you can walk along the very beautiful lake promenade.

The hotel is about 2 km from the center of Malcesine and 1.5 km from the center of Cassano, both very nice places to visit.
The hotel is very nice, with a pool, a small wellness center, a gym, a bar area, and an outdoor restaurant. The location is one of the most beautiful parts of Lake Garda, perfect for all water sports (kitesurfing, sailing, SUP, windsurfing, etc.).
It's also ideal for beautiful bike rides or a trip to Monte Baldo.
Our room (junior suite) is beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the lake, a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom with a whirlpool tub, and a shower. It also features a TV, air conditioning, and a coffee maker.
The breakfast is generous, with a juicer area with fresh fruit and vegetables, a sweet and savory buffet, an omelet corner, and fresh bread and cakes.
We also stopped in for lunch a couple of times, and the restaurant near the pool offers simple but delicious dishes.
The staff is very friendly, and all the rooms are clean and well-kept.
Our dog was welcomed with kindness and provided with a bowl of fresh water every day!
The only downside, if you really want to find one, is the free Wi-Fi, which is incredibly slow!

Hello everyone, my husband and I spent a fantastic week at this hotel in an absolutely fabulous location. They immediately made us feel at ease. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the greenery and a view that rejuvenated us after months of work. The services offered, including breakfast, were excellent. The staff were fantastic: Vittorio, Pino, and Eduardo had advice for every request, a smile for every occasion. The dinner was definitely worth trying. The food was excellent and the service impeccable.
I'm already feeling really homesick, and I'll definitely be back.
