We discovered Stroblhof thanks to a stay in Trentino and had a great time, so much so that we decided to spend December 31st there.
The facility is cold and minimal, with pools that aren't very warm (an opinion shared with guests we met at the pool because of this very problem).
No staff ever comes to the pool area, not even for bar service. Furthermore, there are no herbal teas or fruit like in 5-star spa establishments. Considering the price, it seems basic (another opinion shared with other guests). The sky pool area... cold and bare. We know that the facility is new, but once inaugurated, it should be 100% as good as the price.
Kudos to the wait staff!!! 5-star.
Food quality: good. Breakfast: average.
I don't think this experience will be repeated.

Review: Brand New Lake Garda Hotel

We’re absolutely loving our stay at this brand-new hotel on Lake Garda. The rooms are generous in size and impeccably appointed, making for a wonderfully comfortable experience.
The spa is superb, with two outdoor heated pools, a sauna, a steam room, and a dedicated massage area. Bathing in the heated pools while breathing in the fresh lake air is a real treat.
The service has been exemplary—staff are exceptionally well trained, helpful, and friendly. Check-in to check-out has felt seamless, with a genuine willingness to assist.
The location is excellent, with stunning views, and the atmosphere strikes a delightful balance between sophistication and warmth—perfect for a relaxing break.
There’s a wide range of activities beyond lounging by the pool, offering plenty to do. It’s also very welcoming for pets, as our dog has been enjoying the stay too.
If you’re seeking a stylish, newly opened hotel on Lake Garda with top-notch spa facilities, impressive rooms, and superb hospitality, this is a standout choice and already making our Italian holiday memorable.

What can I say? We happened upon it by chance for a short weekend, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The courtesy and utmost helpfulness of all the staff, the heated pools, the sauna, and the entire spa area transformed our mini-vacation into a pleasant stay. We spent a short break at the Stroblhof from December 19th to 22nd before Christmas and were absolutely thrilled. The welcome upon arrival, the greeting in the restaurant, and the service in the restaurant were all incredibly warm and professional. We stayed in the Heaven SPA Suite with sauna and whirlpool – offering a breathtaking view of the lake and the beautiful grounds. The spa staff were also delightful and professional. All in all – fantastic! We will definitely be back. Many thanks again to the Stroblhof team for these wonderful days.

The rooms and grounds are very nice. Some staff members seem oblivious to the work they're doing, and overall the atmosphere comes across as rather unprofessional. The hotel's location also forces you to stay on the hillside, as the path down is long and winding.

We've been guests at the Stroblhof Family Spa for three days now (2 adults, 1 child).
Our arrival at the hotel (after 114 hairpin bends uphill :) ) was very well organized. The staff took care of our car and parked it for us. Our luggage was brought directly to our room. We started with a welcome drink on the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Garda.
The room was very clean, and to our delight, there were finally plenty of towels.
Since the hotel only opened in March, everything is naturally in excellent condition.
The breakfast is fantastic! There is NOTHING you could possibly want.
My daughter loves fresh crepes in the morning.
Lunch is not included, so you can order à la carte at midday.
I would appreciate more reasonable value for money here.
The pizza is amazing, but it costs half the price of the worst Caesar salad I've ever had. The service was very well-trained and attentive. Perhaps this could improve in the future.
In the evening, there's a three-course meal plus a salad buffet beforehand, followed by a dessert buffet.
The food is absolutely satisfactory.
High-quality products, finely prepared and presented. There's a diverse wine list.
Anyone who gets a table in the front outdoor area has hit the jackpot.
The beauty treatment was lovely, and I also use the QMS products at home, as I'm already familiar with them from the Krallerhof in Leogang.
The infinity pool is just the right temperature, and despite the many children, it's surprisingly quiet. Thank you for the wonderful time and the owners' great efforts to satisfy us, even our most discerning guests.
We'd love to come back!

Our stay at the Strobelhof on Lake Garda was simply wonderful! Everything was perfect – from the warm welcome to our departure. The entire house is run with great care, beautifully maintained, and offers a delightful atmosphere for relaxation.
The hosts are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to fulfill their guests' every wish. The room was very clean, comfortable, and offered a fantastic view of Lake Garda. Breakfast and dinner were also outstanding – fresh, varied, and featuring regional products.
Even in the rain, we could relax wonderfully and enjoy the peace and quiet. The location is ideal for excursions around Lake Garda.

Hello dear hotel team. Thank you for the wonderful week we spent with you.
Very dog-friendly. There's a separate "dog area" for breakfast and dinner, which is just as good as the rest of the hotel. There's also a designated area in the outdoor spa where you can bring your furry friend. Breakfast and dinner are excellent. The price of €9 for a wheat beer is okay, but €9 for a 0.3-liter Spezi (a popular German soft drink) seemed a bit overpriced. The orange juice dispenser at breakfast was absolutely fantastic! :D Thanks again to the reception staff for going along with the little surprise for my girlfriend.
And thank you to Philipp for the absolutely perfect service at dinner. Very genuine and friendly.
The highlight, however, is the sky pool (for ages 16 and up). As soon as it gets dark and you can see the stars from there – simply outstanding. It felt like the hotel was only half full during our stay; we certainly had peace and quiet everywhere and at all times.
However, the background music during dinner and in the lounge areas could be improved.
Walking through the hotel, it might be pleasant to have different music playing everywhere. However, if you're in one place for a while, like at dinner or on the rooftop terrace, it's annoying to hear relaxing acoustic music from the left and cover pop songs from the right at the same time.
The location is superb, and the view of the lake is fantastic. The fireworks display for the owner's son's 18th birthday was lovely, but it came as a complete surprise to us and our dog, and our dog trembled for 30 minutes and couldn't settle down.
All in all, a high standard and a relaxing, enjoyable holiday with our dog.

Overall, we had a lovely stay – the hotel is truly stunning and boasts a quiet, beautiful location. The many great loungers in the spa and pool area are particularly noteworthy – there was always plenty of space, which we greatly appreciated. The welcome was also warm, and the reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, especially when planning and booking excursions. The entire complex appears very clean and well-maintained.
What we didn't like was the lack of comfort. In the restaurant and some of the rooms, everything seemed quite sterile and minimalist – certainly a matter of taste, but we missed a few warm touches like pictures or atmospheric lighting (especially at our table in the evening). The shower was unfortunately poorly designed, so half the hallway regularly got wet.
The food tasted okay, but it wasn't a revelation. There were sometimes quite long waits between courses, and a restroom near the restaurant would have been really welcome.
For a family resort, we found the kids' pool area a bit disappointing – there was only one toy in the baby pool, and the slide is unfortunately very poorly designed. Our daughter hit her head despite using it correctly. The outdoor pool, on the other hand, is very nice, although – as in the adult area – whirlpool loungers would be a great addition.
The paths between the different pool areas are also quite long, and towels are only available at the spa reception, which is a bit inconvenient. For a resort of this category, we also found the sauna to be a bit too few – an additional family sauna or a family whirlpool would significantly round out the offerings.
Overall, a good hotel with many positive aspects, but at the current price level, it's still missing some details and a more comfortable atmosphere to truly impress.

Breathtaking location and new structure, but a disappointing experience.
The hotel boasts an enchanting location and meticulously designed interiors, but unfortunately the quality of the service and cuisine falls far short of 5-star standards.
The food was truly disappointing: subpar dishes, limited menus, and little in the way of what was advertised on the website. There was a five-course à la carte menu, but on the second evening there were only four (including dessert), and the choice was limited to two options per course. Sushi night was the worst experience: poor-quality fish.
Definitely inadequate compared to expectations and similarly sized competitors.
The spa area, while aesthetically pleasing, also lacks basic amenities for a property of this caliber: no flip-flops available, no clean, dry towels outside the pools, forcing you to spend the whole day in a damp bathrobe.
The website also mentioned a "finger food" area, but we only found two measly plums.
It's a real shame, because the property has great potential, but the management and quality of services are absolutely not up to the standard of a five-star hotel.

The rooms and the grounds have an incredibly beautiful view.
So far, the staff has been exceptionally friendly, courteous, and highly trained.
The food is varied and first-class. Your wishes and needs are catered for.

It's quiet and ideal for relaxation.
There are 11kW charging stations and a decent underground parking garage.
The walk up is challenging, but OK.

A dream of a hotel! If there were 6 stars, it would be awarded here. The hotel is family-run. The owners regularly drop by and are always there for a friendly chat. The rooms are very large, comfortable, and modern, with high-quality furnishings. It is extremely clean and well-maintained. The food leaves nothing to be desired. The quality is superb. The location is very quiet, somewhat remote from town. Accessible via a 7km winding mountain road, but well-maintained. The view, however, is simply stunning.

I stayed from August 12th to 18th, 2025, in a single room (spacious and clean, but a bit bland in terms of furnishings). When I arrived, I was greeted wonderfully. They helped me unload my car, and while they carried my luggage to my room and took my car to the covered parking garage on the 5th floor, they offered me a non-alcoholic cocktail (I drank several non-alcoholic cocktails during my stay, and I must say they know how to make them very well) or an alcoholic welcome drink.
The staff were professional and friendly.
The food was excellent (I only had one piece of meat that tasted like a cigarette). At lunchtime, you can easily eat there in the restaurant. The prices aren't cheap, but for a hotel like this, you can't expect lower prices.
The location is magnificent, with a stunning view; you can't hear any traffic noise or anything like that thanks to the elevated position above the lake.
The photos were taken on the terrace where you eat; other photos are on a terrace where you can sunbathe or otherwise relax.

A beautiful spot with a fantastic hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The resort is extremely clean, the rooms are simply beautiful and so tastefully decorated, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, and always has a smile, a solution, or even a slushie ready for our children :-)
We went on two excursions and received excellent advice and assistance, for example, when renting the boat.
I left my wallet at the hotel, and everyone on site even found it and returned it as quickly as possible. Truly fantastic! We're thrilled! Thank you so much!

We stayed at the Stroblhof Resort on Lake Garda for five nights in July and had a lovely stay overall – with a few drawbacks.
The Pircher family was consistently very warm and hospitable; you can feel that they run the place with a lot of passion. The resort's location is fantastic, and the view of Lake Garda is simply breathtaking. The hotel complex itself is also stylishly designed; we particularly enjoyed the spacious pool areas.
The food was a real highlight – the pizza, in particular, was by far the best we've ever eaten. Unfortunately, the buffet seemed a bit lackluster in comparison, with appropriate serving cutlery often missing. We also found the ice cream station somewhat unappealing. And, in our opinion, the pizza station could have been made a bit more presentable.
Despite the recent opening, there were already signs of some minor renovations: The plaster was crumbling in some places in the hallway, and some letters were missing from the elevator sign, a real shame for such a new hotel.
Our biggest criticism, however, concerns the service. Although we repeatedly expressed our wish to sit outside, this was overlooked every day. So we sat at a different table for all ten meals and had to ask again every morning and evening where we could sit. Several things also went wrong with the service: courses were forgotten or served twice, and in some cases we waited over an hour for the next course, only to receive two courses at the same time. One evening, we even had to actively request permission to express our drink preferences during the appetizer – something that shouldn't happen in a hotel of this category.
Despite these points, we would like to emphasize that we had a pleasant stay overall. With a little more attention to detail and better coordinated service, this resort has great potential to live up to its 5-star standards. We therefore award it a solid 4 stars.

Recently built hotel with a superb lake view.
• Spacious rooms suitable for families with young children.
• Good quality breakfast with a nice fruit bar.
Negative points:
• Isolated location: the hotel is far from the village, difficult access (winding road and a 15-minute drive to the village), traffic jams due to the single road along the lake.
This made it difficult to visit anything, as it took us up to 2.5 hours to get to Salò.
• Insufficient shuttle service (few seats, only one per hour).
• The pool was a bit cold, and the sauna/hammam is only for adults (unsuitable for families).
• Few activities for older children/adults.
• Mattresses were too soft, causing back pain after a few nights.
• Disappointing spa: the facial treatment was poorly performed by Giulia (very rough, I hated it!). Additional charges were not clearly explained and were therefore billed at €20, even though I thought it was included in my treatment!
In conclusion: a pleasant hotel for families with young children primarily seeking relaxation by the pool, but not well-suited for families with teenagers or visitors wanting to explore the region. For us, it doesn't live up to a 5-star rating... except for the price. 4 stars would be more appropriate.

We stayed at this hotel and the experience was mixed.
Positive points:
• The view of the lake is simply superb.
• The rooms are spacious, with a lovely terrace and a very pleasant, large walk-in shower.
• The breakfast is exceptional: a varied and fresh juice bar, an egg station, and pancakes and waffles made to order—a real treat!
Negative points/areas for improvement:
• The location is unfortunately a major drawback: the hotel is too far from the lake (15 minutes by car), and the traffic in August is a nightmare. It sometimes took us 2.5 hours to travel 40 km (not counting the return trip), and this happened almost every day… to the point that we shortened our stay because we were spending more time in the car than sightseeing.
• The bedding needs improvement: the mattresses were too soft and gave us back pain after a few nights. • Finally, while the massages at the spa were pleasant, the facial treatment was disappointing: with Giulia, it was anything but relaxing. Her approach was far too abrupt and unprofessional, a far cry from the pampering atmosphere expected in a spa of this caliber.
- The pool water wasn't warm enough.
In short, a hotel with excellent amenities, but whose location and certain comfort/spa features need serious rethinking to live up to a 5-star rating.

Top hotel in a quiet location, very friendly staff, perfect breakfast, dinner not to our taste, but no problem!
We (a family with three "grown-up" children) stayed for four nights, and the room prices were, of course, high, but acceptable!
What bothered us, however, were the prices for everything else we consumed!
The hotel's e-bike rental is also far too high in my opinion; we would have paid €200 for about three hours for five people!
If we had left later (about four hours), we would have paid another €400!
All in all, a very nice hotel, but be sure to have the necessary cash!

Particularly stunning views of Lake Garda, a quiet location in the charming little village of Liano-Formaga above Gargnano, boasting historic buildings, a relaxed atmosphere, and authentic Italian flair.
The resort, newly opened in 2025 by the renowned Pircher family, impresses with its modern, nature-inspired architecture and light-filled interiors. Our room offered a spacious terrace with a lake view (like all the others).
Notable features include the adults-only Sky Pool, heated to 33C, with unobstructed views over the lake, a natural swimming pond, a kids' pool with a water slide, a sauna oasis, and a wide range of treatments.
A fantastic activity program includes yoga on the panoramic platform, guided bike tours, hikes through olive groves, and motorboat rides on Lake Garda. Children will find engaging activities in the mini club, the teen lounge, or playing soccer and paddle.
The in-house restaurant impresses with regional, Mediterranean cuisine—including vegetarian options, stone-baked pizza, a wine bar, and a wine shop. Fresh ingredients and creative dishes, as we know them from the Stroblhof South Tyrol in the Passeier Valley.

Even though they've only been open a few months, I'm convinced that some details need to be finished, like our room... big, huge, very spacious, but "empty," it lacked personality. Otherwise, we received a warm welcome, from the waiters in the restaurant, to the girls at the spa, to the breathtaking view. The food was very good and the variety was plentiful... and the pizzas, freshly baked every evening... addictive. CONGRATULATIONS

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location above Lake Garda. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the panoramic views – the view from the pool and wellness area is particularly breathtaking. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean; you immediately feel at home. The breakfast was extremely varied, with absolutely everything, including champagne. The evening meals were also excellent, with regional accents. The service was attentive and warm – you can tell that great importance is placed on hospitality here. We particularly enjoyed the various pools, from the infinity pool to the adults-only sky pool. For us, it was the perfect combination of peace, relaxation, and luxury – we will definitely be back.

We received a very friendly welcome with a drink.
All our questions were answered politely at reception.
Our room was very spacious and always

The kitchen left nothing to be desired.
The service staff was very attentive.
The indoor and outdoor spa areas were
wonderful for us.
A little tip regarding sustainability:
Bath towels that aren't left on the floor don't need to be washed every day.

A dream stay – we'll definitely be back!
We were privileged to spend a few unforgettable days in August at the new Hotel Stroblhof on Lake Garda – and it was simply perfect from start to finish. The location is unbeatable: with stunning views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. A true oasis of peace, yet ideal for families with children.
We were immediately captivated by the design of the hotel and the rooms – modern, stylish, and with great attention to detail. Everything is of high quality, well-thought-out, and yet incredibly comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the sports facilities, pool, swimming pond, and the activities for our son.
The service was also of the highest standard. The entire team was warm, professional, and helpful at all times. You feel welcome from the very first moment and well looked after. Whether at check-in, in the restaurant, or with housekeeping – hospitality is truly lived here.
We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to our next stay at the Stroblhof. A clear recommendation for anyone seeking relaxation, style, and first-class service on Lake Garda!

We saw this new hotel while searching for a nice, luxury resort with three children. We ended up booking the most expensive room and had high expectations. Unfortunately, the holiday wasn't what we'd hoped for. The room was beautiful but very noisy. We were two floors below the restaurant and were woken every morning from 7 a.m. by the chairs moving around in the restaurant. Furthermore, you either have a table outside or inside, but you can't switch. The first evening it was too cold, so we went inside, but we were given a very large table inside, which wasn't ideal with three small children. The next day, we were tucked away at the back of the restaurant, and going outside was no longer an option. Definitely not the five-star service you'd expect. During the day, if you want a sunbed by the pool in the afternoon, you have to be there early, otherwise there's no room. I almost felt the urge to put down a towel just to be sure of a sunbed. We explained everything to reception, and on our last evening we were able to eat outside, but no other suitable solution was found. Unfortunately, it was a one-time visit for us, as the high price doesn't reflect the service provided. The view and the staff are definitely worth 5 stars!

Since we visit an average of 10 hotels a year, our conclusion is that the Stroblhof is one of the absolute top hotels with a fair price-performance ratio. We want to come back.

The price/performance ratio isn't right. Five stars aren't justified.
The only thing that lives up to the 5-star rating is the view of the lake.
We found it particularly negative that the hotel's own shuttle bus couldn't be booked or ordered flexibly. Anyone wanting to go into town should ideally know in advance (days in advance) when they want to do what, where, and where. Furthermore, the shuttle times aren't aligned with the ferry schedules.
The service staff is very friendly, but still disorganized. Dinner was sometimes very hectic and noisy.
The family dining area isn't comfortable. Some guests complained about tables being too low.
Some of the furnishings in the rooms are poorly finished. The hotel has only been open since April 2025, and clean details haven't been taken into account for this price range.

We had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful hotel for the first time in June – and it certainly won't be our last! Upon arrival, we were immediately captivated by the tranquil location and the lovingly designed grounds. The entire ambiance invites you to relax and unwind from the very first moment.
Our day began with a wonderful breakfast on the terrace – accompanied by a breathtaking view that will not soon be forgotten. In the evenings, we were always treated to a first-class menu that impressed not only in terms of taste but also in terms of appearance. I would particularly like to emphasize the attentiveness with which my food intolerances were handled: a personalized and delicious alternative was always offered – a huge thank you for that!
The hotel has two beautiful pools: one is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view, while the other is ideal for a sporty swim in a few laps – a wonderful combination! In addition, the hotel offers a variety of activities daily, providing entertainment without being intrusive or disruptive. You can participate, but you don't have to – so relaxation from everyday life always remains the focus.
A very special thank you goes to the entire hotel team and the owner family: Everyone is extremely friendly, warm, and accommodating – you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. There's a family atmosphere that makes your stay truly special.
In summary: An absolutely feel-good hotel with plenty of charm, style, and warmth. Thank you for the wonderful time – we're already looking forward to our next visit!

Delicious food, lovely rooms, and fantastic pools.
There are still a few minor issues to address. Unfortunately, there's only one shuttle bus, which is far too insufficient for a hotel of this size. The sauna infusions could also be more frequent; they're only offered at 4 pm and 6 pm.
However, the sauna masters are excellent and do a superb job. The hotel is brand new, and I expect these problems will be resolved in the future.

We spent a fantastic weekend at Stroblhof Lake Garda, a newly built hotel that strikes a smart balance for those seeking a Lake Garda getaway without the typical inconveniences of lakeside properties. We stayed at the Stroblhof for five nights and were aware that the hotel had only opened a few months prior.
The drive up was quite an adventure, as our GPS showed us a road that was far too narrow for our car. We ended up calling the hotel, and a very friendly woman guided us over the phone to the correct entrance.
The drive up is a very long, winding road; the hotel can't be held responsible for that. However, once you've made it up, you're rewarded with a breathtaking view of the lake.
The service was consistently attentive and helpful. Not everyone speaks German, but we didn't expect that in Italy.
As mentioned, the hotel only opened a few months ago, hence the four-star rating.
We had booked a room with a lake view; unfortunately, it was only a partial view, which we mentioned.
There was also a construction site in the garden behind our room. We didn't hear anything, but the view was obstructed.
We also encountered construction work in the garden behind our room. Throughout the hotel, you can still notice some unfinished details and missing touches, but in our opinion, this doesn't detract from the overall comfort.
The breakfast buffet is ample and offers everything you could want; the ice cream dishes are very good and varied, and while it can get quite busy, service is always quick.
The food itself is offered as a set menu divided into two sections; however, switching between the menus is easy. If something doesn't suit your taste, you can always order an alternative. Everything is straightforward.
Now, however, to a point that I believe urgently needs to be reconsidered and which has already been mentioned in other reviews: the drink prices. €12 for a draft wheat beer? Seriously, that's outrageous!
We also mentioned this upon departure; I sincerely hope something is done about it. At €12, many people think twice about having a second one. Having stayed in hotels of this category around the lake, I know this is the absolute best.
So, I hope the comments will be taken into account; we will definitely visit the Stroblhof again; I think that by then the few minor issues will have been resolved, and then the final star can be awarded.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay at the brand-new Stroblhof Lake Garda at the end of June.
We would like to extend special praise to the host family, especially the junior manager, Marcel. They are doing a fantastic job – keep it up!
The rest of the team also provided us with very friendly and attentive service. We felt welcome, comfortable, and right at home from the very first minute.
The breakfast buffet is superb. Food lovers will also find plenty to enjoy in the evenings.
The view of Lake Garda is breathtaking and indescribably beautiful.
We highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely be back.

One of most stunning resorts specially for families and kids, spectacular views and vibes, we stayed there for a week with 2 kids a toddler and an 8 years old, both of them enjoyed it well.
the family room was spacious and has a balcony with great view.
The food is great with daily different dinner menu.
I have some observations regarding the safety; the pool area there is sliding door between the indoor and outdoor pool it can be bit dangerous my son got his toe stuck in it and me myself I tripped on it several times. Also there is no pool guard guy to help if any one needed specially that the hotel isfull of kids and the indoor pool is a bit isolated,in addition there is no ladder or steps in the infinity pool which makes it difficult to get in or out.
Again it was great but giving the fact that it is a family resort safety issue is a priority

We stayed for 3 nights having just returned. It was a truly exceptional stay from before arrival to departure. On our way to the hotel our car hire had a flat tyre and the reception staff went above and beyond any expectations. They called numerous taxi drivers to come and rescue us as well as checking in on the recovery vehicle arrival time.
With young children, the concierge picked the children and mother free of charge which made the whole issue stress free. We were simply astounded by the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel itself is a masterpiece, both in terms of rooms, food and activities for adults and children. I doubt there are many better places in the world. We are excited to try the other stroblhof hotel soon!

We had a fantastic stay at the Strobelhof on Lake Garda! The hotel is beautifully designed – although it's still partly under construction, this didn't bother us at all.
The ambiance is truly top-notch, with great attention to detail. The location is a bit secluded, but there's a convenient hotel shuttle that makes getting around much easier.
The food was excellent – delicious and varied. Breakfast left nothing to be desired.
All the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always helpful – you immediately feel at home.
The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant and relaxed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, including the pool areas (indoor and outdoor) and the lovely lawn.

We spent four days at this new hotel. We were eager to visit, as we've been guests of Stroblhof Alto Adige for many years, so we had very high expectations for the new facility! And we were right: they were fully met! A big round of applause goes to the entire team at Stroblhof Garda Lake. The hotel is beautiful and functional, and the view of the lake is wonderful. The pools and wellness area are well-maintained and organized, and we truly relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the table we were assigned in the restaurant—on the terrace, with a breathtaking view! The food was excellent—a generous breakfast and a very refined dinner, with a double menu and plenty of choice. My sincere compliments to the chefs, pastry chefs, and the restaurant staff—who took such good care of us.
We had a wonderful time and were sad to leave... but then again, we know very well that "Hotel Stroblhof" is synonymous with high quality and the utmost customer care. Thank you for your work, and see you soon!

After meeting them in the Passiria Valley, we tried the experience on Lake Garda... As always, excellent quality, spacious and clean rooms, excellent dinner, and friendly service. If you really want to nitpick, compared to the STROBLHOF in South Tyrol, there are slightly fewer amenities and you feel less "pampered," but still, we're talking about top-notch experiences. Plus, you have a truly beautiful view of Lake Garda. Definitely worth a try.

A wonderful hotel with a fantastic view of Lake Garda! There are many different activities for children, teenagers, and adults.
Positives:
1. Underground Parking: The underground parking garage is very large and spacious. The parking spaces are wide and can accommodate even very large cars.
2. Food: The food is very good, although lunch is a bit pricey (the prices at the pool restaurant are reasonable). Dinner is superb! There is a choice of a creative and a sustainable menu, which can be combined. Breakfast is also perfect!
3. Pools: There are a total of three pools. An adults-only pool with a fantastic view, an indoor and outdoor pool (connected), and an unheated outdoor swimming pond for cooling off.
4. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and modernly furnished with a great balcony.
5. Bar: The bar offers a wide variety of drinks, and the prices are reasonable.
6. Soccer and Tennis Courts: The artificial turf soccer field is well-maintained.
7. The water slide is great fun for both children and adults.
Suggestions for improvement:
- More sun umbrellas
- The clock in the indoor pool is difficult to read from the water

We can only give our highest rating for our 5-day stay. During our stay at this family-friendly "temple of relaxation," attention was paid to even the smallest details, making our vacation a truly rejuvenating experience. The service staff was ever-present and always ready to help. From the highly motivated service manager, who consistently prepared the finest cuisine and was always attentive to our individual needs, such as room service, which was promptly provided, to the exceptionally dedicated owner, who was omnipresent and always sought and maintained personal contact with the guests. He welcomed us warmly and bid us farewell with equal affection. This gives the excellently managed hotel an exceptionally familial feel and a very personal, welcoming atmosphere. It felt more like stepping into a beloved home and leaving with a longing to return. My parents have been traveling to the Stroblhof in the Passeier Valley for decades and have always raved about it; now I understand why I absolutely want to give it the full “star rating” with a “+” on top.

We stayed at the Stroblhof for a few days. The location is absolutely stunning, and the welcome was first-class. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly!
Our room was large, modern, and was cleaned very thoroughly every day.
The pool area is fantastic, but there are simply too few parasols; sun loungers are often reserved early in the morning.
Our only minor complaint was the drink prices, especially at the pool bar. The service at the pool bar could be improved. You have to wait a long time, even if you're sitting right in front of it, and the prices are simply not justified. We also had to check our receipts at the pool bar because, for example, instead of €12 for a non-alcoholic cocktail, we were charged €21.
The service in the restaurant was good to very good. We wanted to sit outside, which was arranged immediately. Thank you so much for that. The service outside was truly excellent!
All in all, a wonderful hotel with a few minor issues that will surely be improved in the coming months.

We had previously stayed at the Stroblhof in South Tyrol and were particularly pleased with our experience there before coming to this new hotel.
I'd like to elaborate on the points we noticed, as feedback provides an opportunity to identify positive aspects and work on others.
We stayed in a Superior Family Suite LAGO. We were very happy with it; it was very spacious and offered a view of the Poon and Lake Garda.
The rooms were clean, but I had imagined that the room would be tidied up in the evening and that nice little touches would be added, such as turning down the bed or something similar. We had just stayed on a cruise ship, "Mein Schiff," and the difference is night and day, even though it doesn't claim to be a 5-star hotel.
Regarding the staff: we were extremely pleased to see that the hotel's owner was also here for a few days and was always friendly to every guest. He even pitched in himself, which I thought was fantastic.
Of course, it's still a very young team, and we understand that. However, orders often took a very long time, and the friendliness and competence of the staff varied considerably.

We found that we had to speak English with most of the staff; a few spoke German.
Regarding the food:
We had a table on the beautiful terrace. Truly beautiful. We reserved this table for breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast was perfect. There's nothing to improve. You can have coffee or other beverages served to you, or you can use the vending machine.
For our taste, dinner was "too ambitious" with its combinations. We often longed for the cuisine we're used to from the Stroblhof. We missed the classic dishes.
For us, staying at such a hotel is something special; we were prepared to pay over €3,000 for three people for four nights. It's a real shame that lunch isn't included, as it is in South Tyrol, and that even drinks like water and juices are very expensive (€7-8).
Dinner was, in our opinion, "too elaborate" with its combinations. Regarding the drive: we drove up the winding mountain road for about 15 minutes. Anyone with a sensitive stomach might not enjoy it. My child unfortunately always got carsick on the drive. The view from up there is incredible, but if you want to pop into town quickly, you need to factor in the drive. The shuttle wasn't an option for us because of the car sickness.
As for the pools: world-class!
All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We spent four nights at the newly opened Stroblhof over the Pentecost weekend. Overall, we had a very positive experience – although there are a few things that could be improved.
Positive highlights:
The view of Lake Garda is spectacular – both from the hotel terrace and from the rooms.
The hotel and grounds have a modern and tasteful design. Our junior suite was spacious and had a huge balcony. However, the bathroom was somewhat oversized compared to the living area.
The staff was always friendly, dedicated, and helpful. Even if they lack experience in some areas, their positive attitude was clearly evident.
The pool area offers a magnificent view of the lake. We found the separation between the general and adults-only areas to be pleasant.
The varied breakfast buffet offered a wide selection, including freshly prepared egg dishes. The only downside was the machine-made coffee, which didn't quite match the otherwise upscale atmosphere.
Dinner was also of high quality – although sometimes a bit too ambitious and not always perfectly balanced. In addition, there were fresh pizzas available daily, an ice cream bar, and a large dessert buffet.
The food served during the day in the hotel's restaurant was consistently very good, even if the prices seemed excessive.
Suggestions and criticisms:
We would have liked two comfortable loungers on our balcony – there was plenty of room for them.
Our junior suite was located directly below the restaurant, which meant we could clearly hear the chairs being moved around as tables were being set, both in the morning and evening. Sleeping in after 8 a.m. was therefore difficult.
There was a lack of shade in the outdoor areas. It was particularly noticeable in the grassy area next to the adults-only pool that there was only a single parasol. The remaining loungers were completely in full sun – making it impossible to spend time there in the summer heat. A similar situation unfolded at breakfast on the terrace: many of the outdoor tables lacked shade, forcing guests to either get up early in the strong sun or retreat inside the restaurant if the few shaded tables were already occupied. For a hotel of this category, one would have expected a sufficient number of parasols or a well-designed shading system.
The constant background music during breakfast (unimportant elevator music) and dinner (interchangeable lounge tracks) was unnecessary – especially when the speaker was positioned right next to the table. While the volume was reduced upon our request, this background noise could easily have been omitted entirely.
With an outside temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, the pools were far too warm at over 33 degrees – offering no respite from the heat. The alternative would have been the bathing lake, but this was unheated and, moreover, covered with sharp stones that made getting in and out unpleasant, even painful.
Despite the high-quality basic amenities, the spa and pool area felt somewhat soulless – no thoughtful touches, no comfortable relaxation zones. It simply lacked atmosphere.
Neither at checkout nor after departure were we asked about our satisfaction. There was no invitation to leave a review via email, nor even a small parting gift. That a newly opened hotel would forgo active guest feedback is incomprehensible and conveys a sense of disinterest.
In conclusion: The Stroblhof impresses with its location, thoughtful design, and dedicated team. However, for a hotel of this category, there is still room for improvement – especially in the details that could elevate the stay from "good" to "outstanding."

Huge resort, fantastic location… once you're there, it's amazing, but the journey takes a while, some things aren't quite finished yet (but only minimally…). 99% is really good, if not outstanding! The location is superb because hardly anyone actually swims in the lake, and if they do, there are V-Class vehicles that shuttle you there for free. Plus, there are lounges with incredible views and are beautifully designed. The pool is fantastic, huge, several in number, and very well heated… Overall, highly recommended. The food is world-class!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels like a Bond set, BUT with family-friendliness! Price as agreed beforehand.

To be clear, the hotel is still under construction, which didn't bother us personally. There are still a few things that need to be done everywhere. But that's completely understandable, given that it only opened in March.
The hotel is very stylish, elegant, and inviting, with high-quality interior design, including furniture and decor.
The location is simply gorgeous and invites you to relax. The rooms (Heaven Spa Lago and the Chalet) are large and beautifully furnished. But there are also some shortcomings. In the Heaven Spa Lago, the sauna is missing a night curtain, so it's very bright throughout the night. So, it's not suitable for children at the moment.
Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes there are too few staff, and you don't get served, and there are long waits in the hallways, or there are too many staff, and they end up chatting or not coordinating, so you end up getting double the food, for example. We stayed there for 8 nights, and 2 of those evenings were good. It's a shame, because the food is delicious, and all requests, such as gluten-free options, are accommodated. The kitchen is top-notch!
The drink prices are too high; this should be adjusted.
The children's program, such as the kids' club and children's pool fun, has a lot of room for improvement.
We think the children's pool is very dangerous, and no one in the kids' club speaks German or is involved with the children.
What we think is great is that if you have a concern, it's addressed immediately or a solution is sought.
All in all, a fantastic vacation, and we would happily recommend the hotel.

Location: High above Lake Garda with breathtaking views of the lake. The large (long) rooftop pool invites you to enjoy the view, swim, and relax – simply superb. The drive to the lake and village takes a bit longer, but the hotel currently provides an hourly shuttle bus. This makes getting to the lake shore a breeze.
Room: We booked the Junior Suite with its own (truly spacious) sauna and whirlpool on the balcony. Highly recommended, as the wellness area only offers a large panoramic sauna and a steam room after 1 p.m.
Ambiance: Absolutely fantastic – words fail me – a truly successful new building.
Service: I have rarely experienced such warmth and friendliness from the staff. A huge compliment to all the employees – thank you so much!
Rooms: We booked the Junior Suite with its own (truly spacious) sauna and whirlpool on the balcony. Food: Breakfast buffet including a juice bar is available / Dinner always includes a salad buffet and sometimes a dessert buffet / the other courses are served / What we really appreciate: smart casual attire is requested, but not overly formal with suits, etc. / we value a relaxed, informal atmosphere on vacation.
Cleanliness: perfect, nothing left to be desired
Amenities: functionally furnished; everything necessary is provided, including coffee and tea in the room / Tip: always hold the hairdryer firmly, otherwise it feels like the connection is loose.
Service: our requests were always promptly answered and fulfilled (e.g., changing bathrobes, etc.)
Parking: spacious underground garage available / valet parking (parking service with luggage loading/unloading) is available upon request.
A few more signs within the hotel would be helpful, for example, to find the spa reception.
Value for money: In our opinion, the rather high prices are justified. The only thing we found bothersome was the price of drinks. A 33cl bottle of Coke for 7 euros is borderline exorbitant, even by Swiss standards – perhaps this should be recalculated.
In conclusion:
The hotel is highly recommended (even now, so soon after opening). The remaining exterior work caused absolutely no disturbing noise during our week-long stay. Our recommendation: go and visit the Stroblhof...

We recently spent three nights at the newly opened Stroblhof Lake Garda, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Having already fallen in love with the Stroblhof Hotel in South Tyrol, we were especially excited to visit their new location, and it certainly lived up to our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and checked in at the stunning, modern lobby. The interior design and architecture are beautifully stylish and thoughtfully designed. We were offered a welcome drink and snack, which we enjoyed while taking in the breathtaking views over Lake Garda. Afterwards, a staff member gave us a personal tour of the hotel.
Our favorite highlights included the adults-only infinity pool with its panoramic lake view, the unforgettable sauna infusions by Dario, and the delicious five-course dinners each evening. We’re already looking forward to returning next year!

We were there just three weeks after it opened, and the only drawback I can think of was that there was still a lot of construction going on outside. But I hadn't expected anything different, and there was no noise pollution at all, so it wasn't a problem for us. Everything inside was wonderful; the rooms were huge and clean; the service was excellent. The outdoor facilities directly adjacent to the hotel and relevant to the use of the hotel, such as the sunbathing lawn by the pool, were beautiful; the view over Lake Garda was breathtaking. As far as I know, all rooms have a lake view; waking up in the morning and seeing this panorama is truly amazing.
The food was the best I've ever had in a hotel; there are great options for the kids (a daily menu, a variety of pasta dishes, and a pizza oven), and the menus for the adults were excellent. There were also themed evenings on several days, where huge buffets were set up for various appetizers or desserts, offering extremely high-quality food. The road to Gargnano is quite winding and takes about 20 minutes, but the hotel more than makes up for it. If only they built tennis courts like the other hotel in South Tyrol, you wouldn't have to leave the hotel. Keep it up! A definite recommendation; we're already looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel is beautifully situated high above Lake Garda. The journey from Gargano is via a winding road, the final stretch being bumpy. There was roadwork on the approach, and the hotel gave a generally neglected impression. Check-in, the cocktail reception, and the initial view from the terrace were breathtakingly beautiful. The room was underwhelming and dark, with a small bathroom. The design around the window frame, particularly the curtains, was poorly thought out. The building and the entire spa area felt very austere and cold. There were no pictures, no decorations, and no thoughtful details one would expect in a 5-star hotel. It lacked a welcoming atmosphere, especially in bad weather. The building simply didn't have a soul. The outdoor pool was very nice and large. The sauna area was not a relaxing space, which is a shame, as there was plenty of room and capacity. The breakfast selection was limited. Service was available, but not particularly helpful. At dinner, the food was okay, but the service was somewhat disorganized. The wine list offered a high-quality selection. However, the wines under €100 on the list were not available in the cellar. No mid-range wines were available. The checkout was understated and impersonal. Conclusion: plenty of room for improvement.

Hotel Stroblhof Lake Garda boasts an impressive location high in the mountains with breathtaking views of the lake. The rooms are tastefully furnished and feature cozy balconies. The high-quality and comfortable outdoor furniture contributes to a luxurious ambiance. However, there are a few details that could further enhance the new decor; in some areas, the hotel could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and plaster. Our room was always clean, bright, and very inviting, although the curtains didn't completely block out the light, meaning we were gently awakened by the sunrise. On the positive side, our room was always impeccably cleaned during breakfast.
Spa & Wellness:
The spa and wellness area is spacious and inviting. The comfortable furniture and numerous loungers ensure relaxation. The area offers a variety of amenities, including a sauna, a steam room, and an indoor pool that flows into a natural swimming pond. The children's play area and fitness rooms are also very appealing. The complimentary water, tea, apples, and pears are a nice bonus. The spa bistro offers a selection, but the prices are questionable – sandwiches for €12 and a Caprese salad for €16 could be more affordable. On the 6th floor, there's an adults-only pool, which has a more understated design than the spa area.
Activities:
The hotel offers mountain bike rentals, a great option for families and active vacationers who want to explore the picturesque surroundings. However, the bikes are a bit older, and the brakes could use some maintenance. On the plus side, there are many free classes offered at various times of day, providing a wide range of activities suitable for both those seeking relaxation and those looking for adventure.
Service:
The hotel's service contributes significantly to the positive atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and quick to learn guests' preferences. From the initial welcome and car pickup to the friendly check-out, the focus on guest satisfaction and well-being is clearly evident.
Breakfast & Dinner:
The buffet breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The station with freshly prepared egg dishes, crêpes, and waffles is a particular highlight. In addition, there is a wide selection of fresh fruit, an orange juice press, a juicer for vitamin shots and smoothies, as well as muesli and gluten-free options. The five-course dinner menu changes daily and offers a variety of choices. Should any adjustments be desired, the staff is always available to assist. You will definitely never leave the table hungry, and the quality of the food remains consistently high.
In summary, the Hotel Stroblhof Lake Garda is a fascinating combination of a luxurious spa resort and an active family hotel. These two worlds come together here, offering both relaxing wellness options and numerous activities for families. While there are still a few areas where improvements could be made to further enhance the overall experience, the hotel offers a relaxing vacation that is definitely worth a visit.

The location is beautiful, quietly secluded on a mountain overlooking Lake Garda, away from the hustle and bustle. You wake up to birdsong!
The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds and large, luxurious bathrooms.
Wellness and relaxation can be enjoyed at the pools or sauna, and for children, there's a lovely separate pool with a slide!
In the beautifully furnished dining areas, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the evening. There's plenty of choice, and if you'd like something else, they'll discuss it with you, and it soon becomes possible. Dining outdoors on the charming terrace, with its stunning views, is also possible!
There are plenty of sports facilities (padel and tennis courts, a fitness and yoga room, and of course, bicycles are available). You can also enjoy plenty of walks in the beautiful surroundings.
They truly make you feel like a GUEST and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay!

The hotel boasts a fantastic location and wonderful views.
As you can see from the early reviews, the hotel has just opened, and this was noticeable in some places – however, the prices were adjusted accordingly and, in my opinion, quite fair. I didn't find the construction work bothersome at all during our stay at the end of April. On the contrary, I found it refreshing to discover something new every day and to witness the progress firsthand ;) You have to remember that construction sites take time, and Rome wasn't built in a day.
The food was also excellent; the half-board option, with a set evening menu and a pizza menu as an alternative, was very well organized in my opinion.
What impressed me most was the staff, who were well-trained, professional, and exceptionally friendly. There were a few minor mix-ups with the drinks we ordered, but they were never charged, and we were always treated with courtesy. From the cleaning staff to the restaurant service to the management, I have only had positive experiences. I would gladly return for that alone. :-)

The property's location is very green and quiet, and adults, children, and pets (which are allowed) live together in respectful silence, all in a truly elegant setting.

We spent a few lovely days at the Hotel Strobelhof and were overall very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are tastefully furnished - modern, clean and with a fantastic view of Lake Garda. The location of the hotel is really excellent and invites you to relax.
The taste of the food in the restaurant was excellent - really at a high level. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't always arrive quite as hot. Some of the staff didn't seem quite attuned, with short waiting times and misunderstandings. There is certainly still potential for development here.
Despite small weaknesses, the hotel impresses with a lot of charm, great views and an overall very pleasant atmosphere. We'll be happy to come back and look forward to seeing how the service continues to improve.

A beautiful resort with breathtaking views of Lake Garda! We spent a wonderful holiday there at the end of March and were absolutely thrilled.
The staff is very friendly, attentive, and competent – you feel exceptionally well looked after and in good hands. The rooms are modern and furnished to a high standard. We were particularly impressed by the spacious sun terrace/lounge overlooking the lake – simply wonderful for enjoying an aperitif.
The pools are fantastic and spacious, and the activity program is excellent: daily sports activities and sauna infusions. The massage was also superb.
We especially enjoyed the restaurant: a tranquil atmosphere, everything divided into cozy alcoves – allowing us to dine in complete peace and quiet. The wine list is outstanding, as is the food.
A place to feel good, relax, and definitely return to. Thank you to the entire team!
