Glacier mills Marmitte dei Giganti

Translated, Marmitte dei Giganti means Giant Pots. These are the glacier mills: Huge, vertical, holes and caves in the rock, millions of years old. They formed during the Ice Age when the large glacier tongues developed here.

A trip to the surrounding area is an option for a change to surfing. About one and a half kilometres to Torbole, before Nago there is a small parking lot in a hairpin bend. From there, a narrow path leads down to the rocks where the "Marmitte dei Giganti" lie.

The famous climbing wall "Palestra di Roccia" is a favourite meeting place, and you can sometimes see a few daring climbers in precarious positions. Also, the site offers a unique view of the lake.
